It was simple to collect keys via the digital code. The room was spacious and had almost all the amenities needed. The washer and dryer were a bonus. Communication from the host was excellent. The showers were a bit too small, but we managed. It was closer to all of the best locations by foot. We walked everywhere within 10-15 minutes. It was a great space for our kids.

On the booking, very few remarks about no lift. It took a lot of work to get the luggage up—no bottle opener in a country where all wine bottles do not have screw-top lids. The host tried to get us one, but it was too late. Regardless, we will book here again.

Great property. Well equipped kitchenette, smallish serviceable bathrooms, comfortable beds. The location is fabulous, just a short walk to the river and historic centre and amongst a great selection of eateries. The Lungarno Garage worked a treat, an easy walk less than 200 meters from the apartment.

The upper apartments are reached by stairs, not an issue for us but could be for others less fit. The apartment is on a narrow historic laneway (beautiful) and the sound bounces up so could be a problem for light sleepers.

The check in process, the room itself and the location are fantastic. The room itself is very large and the wifi was strong. Easy to replenish coffee pods etc from the stocks in the basement. There was also a washer and dryer in the basement which was free to use and was a blessing to be able to do laundry after a week of exploring. The location is just around the corner from Palazzo Pitti and is an easy walk to other sites.

My room was on the ground floor near the entrance door and everytime someone used the front door's acces code to unlock the door it would buzz loudly and I could hear it clearly in my room. Also the windows face the street outside and you will hear all the traffic and chatter from folks outside. That's more an FYI for anyone staying on the ground floor. The location made up for it though!

Great location near some very good sandwich and gelato shops that are also rather cheap. Within a 10 minute walk you're in the northern part of the city. The studio itself was pretty clean, spacious and also the high ceiling made it feel pretty big. The frontdoor and door to the studio uses your own personal unique pin code so no need to keep an app or token with you during your trip which is really nice. Also the contact with the owner was really quick and pleasant through WhatsApp. Majority is automated but our question required a real human. This took only about 5 minutes and the help was really fast and kind.

We had room 002 which is on the ground level so quite some noise from the streets and the main access door comes through. Not the worst but that was pretty much the only downside for us.

The location is excellent. A quiet street that is just two minutes away from bus, taxi and restaurants. 5 minutes to cross the bridge over to the tourist attractions. The first floor apartment was spacious and clean. The kitchenette worked well.

The lighting was very dim in the main room. It was night when we checked in and it was not a good first impression. Also the wifi was down one night and it was only fixed the next afternoon. Finally, the dryer would sometimes stop midway so we had to go and check up on it

The location is excellent. It is in a quieter neighborhood with artisans, interesting shops, and excellent restaurants nearby. It is very easy to walk to all of central Florence. The apartment had a perfect little kitchenette in it. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

We stayed on the ground floor, so there was noise from the street and the door opening/closing as other guests went to their apartments. Also, it was very dark and a bit musty in this room because of its ground floor location. Overall, we were happy with the stay and would just request a higher level room to stay in if we were to return.

Palazzo Belfiore was a great place to stay for our family’s first visit to Florence. Location was fantastic- close to Ponte Vecchio, block from Pitti Palace - and easy walk to just about anywhere else. Also, it was on a fairly quiet smallish alley. Many restaurants/shops nearby. Inside, there was plenty of space in our unit (#5) - was great to have a small kitchen (with toaster/kettle, etc) dining area, sitting area (with additional sleeper), and TWO bathrooms! Worked out great for our crew. Also, facility has laundry in basement (some units are in-unit, I believe) for small fee - much appreciated. Pure water also supplied in basement - also nice feature. AC a plus for sure during a warm summer. Staff very responsive (via WhatsApp) - helped set up easy late check-in.

Not much - maybe add a small microwave? Shower maybe a tad small for some people

My recent stay at Palazzo Belfiore, in the heart of Florence, was a delightful experience that I would certainly like to recount. Firstly, the location of the property was exceptional. The proximity to the city's center made access to Florence's renowned historical landmarks easy and convenient. A special mention must be made of the famous ice cream shop nearby, a treat that should not be missed. The communication with the property owner was seamless and cordial, which truly enhanced the overall experience. They were prompt in their responses, knowledgeable, and very accommodating to our needs. The apartment itself was very comfortable. The rooms were spacious and immaculately clean, providing a restful retreat after a day of exploring the city. The decor was tastefully done, enhancing the charm of the place and making our stay truly memorable.

However, I must mention a few points that might need improvement. The apartment is located on the 4th floor and there isn't an elevator. This might be a bit challenging for older guests or anyone with mobility issues. I would highly recommend the installation of an elevator or a lift system to make the apartment more accessible. Secondly, the lighting in the apartment felt somewhat inadequate. The rooms were a bit dimmer than I prefer. While this did not majorly impact my stay, an upgrade in the lighting system would greatly enhance the experience for future guests.

We were surprised by how large the rooms were! We loved the impressive ceilings and walls. It was nice to have a small fridge in the room. Very close to the Ponte Vecchio.

I didn't realize that one of our rooms was up 3 flights of stairs - but the couple who had that room at the top loved it. We drove into the city, parked at a nearby garage, and walked to the hotel, then returned our rental cars to the airport. I highly recommend that you do not drive in the city...my husband is a great driver but said it was the most stressful hour of his life!

Really good location, walking distance to almost anything. Building is very good and gives an interesting vibe.

We were staying on the street level room in winter and we noticed that sound and thermo insulation aren’t that good on the street windows, however for the temperature the heating provided is adequate.
