The property was gorgeous. It’s got such a cute style. The suites are modern and comfortable. I loved Ludlow St. You’re not far from anything — super close to city hall, shops, Reading Terminal Market… There’s so many places to park your car. The staff were super friendly. Also there’s a door to federal donuts in the lobby — who could say no to that?

Nothing really! It was great. I wouldn’t say no to a continental breakfast though! There was a convenient $8 option available that sounded like a great value though, so that’s only a suggestion and not at all a complaint.

This hotel had a few simple but excellent things. The black out curtain that covered the windows was not split. It was a single curtain. No seam to let light in! The shower had a hand held shower head. And a fan strong enough to leave the mirrors steam free! These seem like simple things but rare is the hotel that had them. Room was spotless and the decor was great.

Room was small for the price and the lights were funky. There was a switch by the door that did nothing by itself but without it on, the main lights and some supplementary lights did not turn on

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in downtown Philadelphia! The staff were amazing—from the front desk to the bar and breakfast team, everyone was warm, welcoming, and attentive to our needs. The location is excellent, with everything close by, including plenty of great dining options. The hotel's decor is beautiful and modern, and the rooms are equally impressive—spacious, well-decorated, and thoughtfully arranged to be both practical and comfortable. We truly enjoyed every aspect of our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Philadelphia!

Loved that there was filtered water in the hallway with a glass carafe in the room as opposed to bottled water. Very environmentally friendly and I appreciated that. The decor was also really fun and the room was clean and comfortable.

The A/C was a bit loud and the parking options were not great. The valet parking at the hotel was very expensive and there was no self park option on site. We found a garage nearby that we prepaid for online that was about half the price of the valet but it was difficult to find the entrance.

The location was great and within walking distance to everything we wanted to see in a short amount of time. Also felt very safe there. We also went to the bar downstairs and had a nightcap. During the parade, we were able to go ahead and check out and store our luggage and come back for it later.

Our bathroom door didn’t close all the way. A latch was put on that made the door stay open by about a foot. Luckily we had another door leading into the bedroom so we could close that door. It was our fault for not telling the hotel, but we were there for such a short time that we didn’t want to take the time to deal with it.

This is the second time Ive stayed at this hotel. It's comfortable and beautifully decorated. The hotel restaurant is excellent, and the staff is always helpful. It is conveniently located right in downtown Philly. I live in Philly but didn't want to travel for Thanksgiving so I booked myself a room downtown as a mini staycation. The Thanksgiving menu in the restaurant was fantastic!

This is insignificant really, but the water in the shower only goes up to 100 degrees, so you don't really get a nice hot hotel shower (I love piping hot showers). But the showers and bathrooms are beautifully designed.

Location was excellent!! Near to lots of shopping and transit. Central location was ideal and walkable to sights that interested my group. There were lots of charging options in my room…. they even had a surge protector behind the nightstand!!

The room, though modern and updated was very dusty. The vent in the ceiling was super dusty as was the filter inside of the vent. While I loved that there was a surge protector behind the nights tand, I had to clean so much dust from behind the night stand it was crazy; I even found an old packet of mayonnaise behind there. Staff needs to pay better attention to dusting the rooms.

The staff could not have been friendlier and I loved that there was a glass milk bottle in our room that we could fill using the filtered water machine near the elevator bank. This was such a great touch! Bed and pillows were also really comfortable.

We were in Philly for our son’s college graduation weekend so I have to assume other graduations were happening and because of the influx of people prices were higher than normal. Our room was very small for the price which is the only thing that bothered us.

Beautiful bar and restaurant that was open and inviting space (not dark or clubby feel). Spacious bathroom. Close to Reading Market and PHlash bus stop #4. PHlash is a GREAT way to get around important sites; free for seniors and $5 for full day for other adults. Hotel is near great restaurant area (try Prunella or Darling Jack’s for upscale food at reasonable prices). We really enjoyed the warm and gracious vibe of the hotel.

Nothing - just a bit pricey but worth it for three nights

starting with the Valet staff to the Desk, to the Bartender, everyone was very helpful and enthusiastic. special shout out to the bartender who made special requests and who was working fast and furious but remained calm and enjoyable. beds were very comfortable. this is an old building and the upgrades were great. but if you want brand new and spacious this is not for you!

while the aesthetic of barn doors is nice and on trend- i prefer a traditional bathroom door that shuts tightly! not only was it loose fitting, leaving a gap around the frame, the slider was a huge finger pinching hazzard.
