I was worried by reading the reviews but hotel is very good. Heating is good and area is close to market street. Although a few homeless people were sleeping on the street, but this is common in this city. Breakfast is good although they can introduce some vegetables or salads and should have bananas. The elevators were working fine. Beds are fine and comfortable. Room has coffee makers, refrigerators, microwave, large tv, iron.

1. One old lady working in check in guest should improve her attitude towards guests. Other employees are very nice. 2. They take $200 deposit which is too much.

The location was amazing and the room itself was perfect for what we needed.

The valet situation was a mess. They told us we needed to use the valet, and then half the time that we needed the service, there was nobody in site. One of the times we just needed to get something out of the car and they brought the car to us and made me drive back around to the back of the line to get it re-parked instead of just letting us go to the car. Additionally, our tv did not work the entire second day and they tried to send up maintenance at 11pm after we were in bed. We also tried to eat in the attached restaurant and were completely ignored for 20 minutes (after telling the bartender that we were there to eat) before we just went somewhere else.

We loved the location of the hotel. We drove to get there, but while we were getting around the city, we were able to walk or use transit which was no big deal for us because we live in NYC and do it all the time. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great. It was nice and hot with a spa like shower head and no drain clogging which has been experienced in some hotels. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I loved the breakfast staff. They were very sweet.

There was some hair on the towels and the floor of the bathroom, like a couple of strands only, but still there. I didn't like that there was no parking lot for the guests of the hotel. They had valet service that was $47 and change per night. Too expensive in my opinion, but we found a parking garage like 2 blocks down (about 7 min walk from the hotel) that only charged $12 a night on weekends. A much better price and safe location.

Breakfast buffet exceeded expectations and was always clean and well stocked, as was coffee which is always important! Our room was clean and everything worked properly. The location was directly across the street from the convention center which was perfect for out trip.

The cost of the stay. I do understand this is an industry wide challenge and the price of everything seems to have skyrocketed. However, had it not been for a promise to take my child to Philadelphia for a weekend with his friend, there's no way I would pay that much for this type of hotel room again.

The hotel was centrally located and was easy to reach the touristic sites by foot. Chinatown is also close by.

They provide breakfast but they did not make a restock of food in the last 30 minutes, so the ones that came to eat in the last 30 minutes had fewer options (no hot breakfast available). Furthermore, they started cleaning the breakfast area before 10 AM. As such, if you'd like to have all the breakfast options and enjoy your breakfast, I suggest going early. There are elevators, but you have to wait a few minutes before they arrive. Using the stairs is not possible, as such everybody is obliged to take the elevator and wait even if they are at the first or second floor. The parking is quite expensive ($57/day). There's a valet that takes care of parking your car and bringing it back to the hotel when you need it.

The rooms are nice, spacious and clean. We love the location with it's close proximity to the Convention Center, Chinatown and Reading Terminal Market. The breakfast is a great bonus, pretty decent selection for a free breakfast and gets replenished frequently.

Street parking is a challenge, but that is not a fault of the hotel. Homeless people sleeping and congregating in the nearby passages - again not a fault of the hotel. I believe there is a homeless shelter nearby. It didn't bother us but I know there are people that might be a bit sensitive about it. One just has to be a bit street smart and aware of their surroundings.

My Google review - First time staying with this hotel company and I was very impressed. The halls/rooms were very clean. However the room did have low water pressure in the bathroom sink but the shower the pressure was good. We paid for a king bed but instead got (2) queen beds but that’s no big deal. The free breakfast had a lot of options and tasted great too. Best breakfast I’ve had at any hotel before. 6am-10am are the breakfast hours. This location also has a bar throughout the night and a very nice seating area. The best part of this hotel is the location. So many things to do in walking distance. I parked my car and didn’t have to move it throughout my 2 day stay. A lot of food within 5 block. $200 security deposit is required upon entry and was giving back the day after check out. Not a long wait at all.

First off, huge shout out to the wonderful lady named Syreeta - loved that the staff was very welcoming & personable, it really heightened the experience. This hotel exceeded my expectations for the first time in Philadelphia and with booking a hotel for the first time as well. Very clean, comfortable, and felt very safe!

We were warned about the area prior to our visit, but not specifically the hotel. Although we ended up with zero complaints. We did receive a prank call over our phone but the staff were quick to clear it up & apologized!!

The breakfast was great, I like that there was some variety day to day. The front desk staff was so kind and incredibly responsive. We had asked for a cot that wasn't in the room when we checked in, they got one sent up with extra bedding and towels right away. Our hair dryer bag was also empty and they brought another of those up right away too. Very happy with this stay - great location, the car valet service is top notch!

I wish the bathroom had a fan because the room got SO steamy. The large shower looks neat, but the floor got so wet! We had to use extra towels just to stand on and wipe our feet because so much of the floor got and stayed wet.

Location is great, close to the Reading Terminal and other destinations like Love Park. The staff draws a random customers' name each day and puts it on a paper sign with "VIP Guest of the Day" at the front desk and in the elevators. It was a pleasant surprise to see my name was drawn for the night we arrived with a small treat bag after a long day of travelling.
