The staff throughout the hotel whether it's food service or front desk or housekeeping, are ALL very nice and accommodating. Location is GREAT for beach access. The staff arranged for us to have a boxed breakfast on our two first mornings as we had tours that left before 7 a.m. When we went upstairs for the actual breakfast, it was GREAT! Also, both restaurants on site are very good, too. Downstairs near the lobby is more casual; on the 5th floor, a bit more for regular dinner dining. Beautiful views of the beach from the 5th floor pool and restaurant area.

Refrigerator is too lightweight and falls all over the place when you load it. NOT COLD. Also the PLACEMENT OF THE SAFE is ridiculous. I could reach to lock and open, but because it is so high (on the shelf above the wardrobe) it is IMPOSSIBLE to see inside. I used a long pen to do the final check to see if everything was out of it before we left. NO USB ports in the rooms, so be sure to bring your adaptors (they use GB and European adaptors here).

Location was perfect. Beach was 5 min walk with lots of restaurants and great coffee shops. Transport was easy to get. The hotel was clean, big beds and a really good size room, great breakfast had they had a great pool..

Our first room was facing towards the beach and there was night club going off. We were so tired and couldn't sleep, but the hotel moved our room at 1am to a much quieter one.. The pool needs umbrellas around the pool area, no shade..

The location is superb in that it is 100m from the beach and also many restaurants/bars. The staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. The beds/pillows were so comfortable.

Unfortunately the hotels location amongst numerous bars makes it noisy (it is adjacent to Motel Mexicola) and you can hear the thumping of music late into the night. I requested to be on the "quiet" side of the hotel, but our room couldn't have been any closer to the noise. We considered requesting a move, but having settled in, we persevered with ear plugs. Also, the corridors into the rooms are very echoed and the room doors cannot be closed quietly. As a result, you'll hear the constant loud banging of doors closing in the early morning.

Highly rate their breakfast. Huge variety and tasty. They had delicious accompaniments near the dim sims. Fantastic to see satay sauce available. First hotel whereby staff came around and offered bite sized treats during breakfast too. Daily changes to additions ie bruschetta. Staff were always friendly and smiling. Great rooftop pool, perfect water temp, not cold. Great to watch the swell and surfers in Canggu. Always a lounger available during my stay. Great cocktails. Room was very modern and clean. Bathroom very clean. Cleaners were always thorough.There is a blind to wind down if you dont want to view the bathroom from the bed. Mini bar comes empty, just how l like it. 2 mini marts directly across hotel. Money changer 2 minute walk to the left. (Hotel also has a money changer) Old mans and hotel mexicola clubs and restaurants overlooking the beach 2 min to the right. (l didn't hear any music from my room) Free dinner voucher plus other vouchers on checkin a nice touch. Flight was at 9.30pm. Hotel kindly accomodated a late checkout til 5.30pm for $50 AUD/500,000IDR

The satay sauce wasn't available every day ;) The pillows are good quality, big and comfortable for most l'm sure but l like a thin soft one on top. I asked for one at reception and was delivered a shorter version of the big one. I asked the cleaner the next day for a thin one but he said they don't have.

The location is so central, the rooftop pool bar and its views, the yummy breakfast, the clean and spacious rooms. Staff were very accommodating to a room change to a quieter side of the hotel away from the nightlife.

The staff weren’t very attentive around the pool, I found myself having to walk up to get their attention 100% of the time. The gym is very below average, I would happily pay a higher rate per night if they updated their gym with more equipment and equipment that was in date - no leg machines, very very very basic. The rooms on the side closest to the ocean gets the noise from the bars / club from Old Man’s, Motel Mexicola, etc.

We recently stayed at Aston Canggu and it exceeded all our expectations! The location is really good—just a short stroll to the beach, making it incredibly convenient for sunset walks or an afternoon by the water. You can also watch the sunset from the rooftop pool and bar. It also has an amazing view to the ocean from the rooftop. The area around the hotel was lively and bustling with plenty of shops, and restaurants. It felt vibrant and had everything we needed within walking distance. The hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and with most amazing Balinese friendly hospitality, attentive staff who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Special mention to the 2 Ayus that were fantastic with us. Ayu the Customer relations and Ayu the restaurant hostes. Thank you very much for being so accommodating! The restaurant has a wide variety of food and staff are beyond friendly. Travelling as a vegan sometimes can be challenging. But the chefs were more than happy to accommodate our dietary needs and there was also plenty of options in the buffet. The hotel also put on a magnificent, very generous and plentyful Christmas dinner as a cortesy to the guests and again the chefs were happy to provide a variety of vegan options for us. And If you are not vegan, you will be spolied for choices! If you're looking for a place that combines proximity to the beach with access to a bustling area full of options for dining and shopping, this hotel is a perfect choice.

The hotel was in a great location just a few minutes walk from the beach. There were lots of cafe, bars and restaurants on the road to give a great choice as well as small market to get your souvenirs from The hotel has a DJ on the roof bar at the weekend but does supply complimentary ear plugs if you are wanting an early night The area has loads of late night bats and clubs and is perfect for those wanting to surf in the day and party at night The staff were friendly and welcoming and made sure your stay was comfortable, they can arrange airport drop of at a charge and you can hire mopeds from the hotel

Amazing rooftop pool with sea view, incredible breakfast buffet, dedicated staff , very neat tooms, good cleaning and on time. Guest relations Ayu was taking care of us every step of the way , as well as taking feedback from other customers. Overall in my 40+ years of travelling this hotel is top 3 in terms of price quality ratio

Beach at Canggu is really more for surfers than for swimmers due to very high and powerful waves...

I had an amazing two-week stay at ASTON in Canggu. The location is perfect, close to the beach (bonus: there's a rooftop with a beach view) and near the lively party scene, restaurants, and yoga spots. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Gita at the reception, and Yaya and Sintra at breakfast. My room was always impeccably cleaned by Yogik and the team. The WiFi was reliable, even for my work-related Zoom calls, and the nearby parties weren't an issue since they rotate locations each night. This actually made it convenient to join in the fun with friends on the scheduled party nights.

The only downside was the steel bar on the rooftop, which occasionally got in the way of my beach photos.

Location is only 100m walk to the beach and amazing restaurants and bars. The rooftop pool is enough. Not huge but it’s nice. The buffet is only $12aud which is great value for money and the staff were superb.

I was in a room at the front of the building which faced the Main Street that has bars accross the road which was loud until 12-1am and the sound of motorbikes is loud. Was quite hard to fall asleep. If you book id suggest requesting a room at the back of the property so you can’t hear the noise.
