Very old historical building with great atmosphere and very touching history..Quiet location just next to Brancacci chapel with many good restaurants around and within 15 min walk from all Florence highlights.Very good breakfast with variety of choice and very friendly and helpful staff at reception

Rooms are very simoly decorated and en suite bathroom (our room was for 3)is rather small,It perfect fits to the spiritual atmosphere of the building but people should be aware of it.

Location is just excellent. You can reach whole Florence in few minutes but still sleep out of bussy turist area and night noise.We used parking inside of the garden, behind the closed gate, which cost 25e/night but worth it. Building is very old but completely renovated.

Bed could be more comfortable, bathroom is tiny and quality which I remember from my time in dormitory :) We had opened window during the night, but after killing 12 mosquitos, I closed the wondow and used airconditioning. Tip: use circulation ! When I used cooling, the device stop working after 2hours and cant continue even I changed temparature to 15°C. When off, the device makes anoying noise.

The location was perfect, within walking distance to all major attractions. The area was quiet and serene, offering a peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was good with a good variety.

We arrived in two cars but, unfortunately, did not pre-book two parking spaces, which made it quite challenging to find parking for the second car—a rather inconvenient experience. The major attractions are located in a limited traffic zone monitored by multiple video cameras. If you plan to drive, make sure to arrange parking in advance.

We loved our stay here - spacious rooms with high ceilings and great air con and comfortable beds in clean rooms. The building was easy to get to from the train station, and very central for walking around Florence. I loved the old building with it's cool interior and large recieving rooms between bedrooms. Such an interesting space. The bathrooms were separate from the bedrooms, which I knew in advance, and very clean. My kids loved using old fashioned keys to get in (not keycards or codes!). The staff were just wonderful, generous with sharing advice and helping us out.

Excellent location close to the City Center

Very small bathrooms/shower cubicles, unsuitable for plus size guests. Air-conditioning controls in the room were overridden twice from the reception area, and the cooling was unfortunately off for one night completely. This was brought to the hotel's notice and addressed. The breakfast timings were from 7:30 am to 9:30 am (but ran out of refills for several items after 8:45 am). This needs more care. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

Beautiful old building with lovely gardens. A quiet spot to relax. Plenty of bars and restaurants close by. Very helpful and accomodationg staff. Drinks in the gardens with our friends a highlight each night.

Breakfast was good but you needed to get there early. If you were running late there was very little left. There are set times, but I think there should be plenty to choose from within those times. It really would be great to have a little fridge in your room, especially during the summer months.

The old convent has a serene feel to it . The gardens are lovely and perfect for gathering with friends . We had drinks there every night . We had stayed there 16 years ago and there have been some great upgrades to the rooms and bathrooms and an elevator. There’s a coffee machine after hours too .

We would have loved a little fridge in our room . Breakfast was as expected in Europe , if you were later on in the breakfast period you missed out on some things .. i think they could replenish more often .

I really enjoyed the building and the grounds. The building has a majestic stone staircase that was reminiscent of a 15th century villa. There was a beautiful courtyard, and we enjoyed drinking a glass of wine there. At the end of the day. Our room looked out over a plaza, and the windows opened so we could look out over the plaza. Breakfast was included and was excellent.

It was a 15 minute walk to the central tourist area. We enjoyed being out of the overcrowded and noisy area, but some may find this less convenient.

This place is amazing if you are traveling with a large family. We have four kids so finding a single hotel room in Italy is very difficult, but we were able to get a single room with five beds and a pack n play. The room was very simple, just the beds and a bathroom, but it was large and airy with high ceilings and spotlessly clean. The grounds are beautiful and the location is great. The breakfast was very simple but it was fine. Overall it’s not a luxurious place but it is very nice, very comfortable, super clean and a really great base for exploring Florence. We also appreciated that they had parking that was able to accommodate the van we rented, which isn’t always possible in Italy especially in the old sections of towns.

The breakfast was a little too simple, but not bad.

It’s an old convent. The location is perfect if you like a peaceful sleep as it is on the other side of the river from the main tourist area. Some lovely bars and restaurants close by. Situated next to The Brancacci Chapel famous for Masaccio fresco. Only 15 minutes walk from the train and bus station. Also Florence has fast rail access to Siena!

Breakfast is a bit uninteresting although coffee is good.
