Re Breakfast: I was surprised it had so many options and the setting was comfortable and well serviced. This has nothing to do with the breakfast but the reason I chose this property was I was arriving by bus after dark and, not knowing the area, wanted a short safe walk. I usually do not spend the rate that was charged for this room, but well worth it from a safety standpoint. Additionally not only was it safe it was worth it from a quality standpoint. The lady at check in, golly I wish I had remembered her name, was so warm and welcoming. A true surprise from someone so young.

When first walking in, we were greeted by the unmistakable scent of a well maintained property. Everything was fresh and clean. The staff was wonderful our entire stay. Breakfast was great most days, with a wide selection of options. The beds were some of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept on. Usually, the first night is not the best for me, but I had zero issues with the bed our entire 8 night stay. The toiletries provided were excellent as well. We had intended to buy our own once we arrived, but when we saw that Dove products stocked in the bathroom, we did need to.

There were a few days when a cheese omelet was provided rather than scrambled eggs. The omelet was not good.

The place was spotlessly cleaned, good-sized rooms, and comfy beds. The lighting in the room was ample with incredibly convenient fixtures. Curtains had layers for great light control. Temperature control worked well. Dove products in the bathrooms were in quantity. In the morning, the breakfast offered was stellar and had plenty of options, making it super convenient for us and was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. Another huge asset was the pool. The pool was open on time and closed on time, plus it was clean and provided a much needed respite. Staff were happy and super helpful during every interaction. We had such a good time and really enjoyed our stay here. Our hope is to come back because this was such a stellar experience for the entire family.

At breakfast, the pancake machine has a bag in it. The bag needed a lot of 'burping' by staff to get the machine to work. It was not that big a deal, and it was mildly amusing to hear them talk about burping the bag, yet I wished it worked smoother so staff didn't have to fiddle with it so much. The machine was still highly amusing to the kids and convenient, when it worked. The only issue a relative felt they had was that the water pressure was only so-so, and the showerheads were in need of some very minor maintenance and some mineral remover.

The location was great. Hotel is in the heart of things but without any outside noise. The breakfast is very, very superb.

One thing I can say is that they have a Canada Geese problem. The geese themselves were fine but their droppings in the parking lot and sidewalks and near exits are horrible to dodge. It would be a full-time job just for someone to constantly clean up after them. I like a firm pillow. They provide both. Each are labeled. The firm pillows provided are just flat and thin and provide zero support. I believe they need to replace the firm pillows with thicker firm ones.

I loved staying here. We were attending a wedding, and it was very comfortable, very clean. It had an indoor pool, and my baby loved it! We had an amazing stay here, and would definitely recommend anyone to stay here if they’re visiting.

Simple, clean and efficient. Rooms are spacious, and service is excellent. The breakfast was also great with a big range of options, and a different egg option everyday.

It's a bit out of the centre of Monroe so you do need a car to get around.

Hotel was great, outstanding free breakfast and extremely friendly staff. My second time staying and will stay again. Highly recommend, close enough to Charlotte. Lots of food and entertainment selections in the area.

On arrival found out reservations hadn't been received. I did have confirmation number and all. Can't remember the name of the guy who checked us in. He did find us a room. The one we had reserved wasn't available. It worked out fine. It was very clean. The staff, housekeeping and the breakfast crew were very nice.

Really didn't have anything we didn't like.

All was in good repair and very clean. Pleasant atmosphere. Excellent breakfast.

Low toilet seats. Beds, though comfortable, were difficult to get into for short people.

It was quiet and pleasant. While we were there we had an unexpected heavy rain. When I came in, the woman at the front desk was concerned and provided me and another guest with towels to dry off.
