Excellent location right on the waters edge , overlooking the Canale Grande ( Grand Canal ) , a few minutes walk from Rialto Bridge . The junior suite gave us plenty of space along with a lovely spacious bathroom . A walk in shower was absolutely the best shower we’ve ever had in any accommodation. We loved in the morning, that the sun shone through our window . We were lucky to have beautiful weather for our 4 day stay , little cold but dry and sunny , but always warm in the room and bathroom . Breakfast was a highlight especially as we managed to be sat at the corner table overlooking the hustle and bustle on the Canale Grande . Lovely coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice , with a good choice of fruits , yogurts, cereals, cheeses, hams , bread etc . The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us plenty of recommendations for restaurants and where best to watch the fireworks display on NYE . From the airport we had a private water taxi , a little pricey at €266 return but worth every cent , as it took the hassle away from having multiple forms of transport , the transfer only took 20 minutes. There was a jetty right by the hotel, we only had to walk 30 yards to the entrance gate . We would highly recommend Ca’Angeli and will definitely stay here again as it is quite central for visiting all of Venice, the touristy St Marks square, 15 mins walk , and our 2 favourite areas of Dorsoduro and Cannaregio not too far away .
Nothing at all

Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection of food to meet everyones requirements, the room was of a good size to allow people space. The location was ok to find but there is some confusion as to how to get access to the property. There is a door bell on the sign but until pointed out you would not know that this was a door bell. There are cameras on the entrance so it would have been helpful to have had someone communicate to us to let us know how to gain entrance,
No coffee or tea making facilities in the room, this is most unusual to not have these facilities as it is expected in most rooms nowadays. Even though our room looked out on to a brick wall, our curtains was not wide enough to close so therefore had the early daylight to contend with which was rather annoying plus at an angle the apartements across could see into your room at night when the lights were on!!

Ten minutes walk to 100 restaurants. Five minute walk to the #1 boat dock. Do it yourself fresh orange juice in a nice atmosphere with classical music playing. Decaf custom made coffee. Old artwork in the property. We thought we would not have a window in the room. We had two large ones. No real view but the light came in, the air came in when we opened them, and you could check the weather.
Staff was not always around at the desk. They were helpful though when we saw them. Weird written rules like no eating in the room. How do you not buy a wonderful fresh pastry and not bring it to the room in the evening?

Ca' Angeli far exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable, and the staff were helpful and considerate. We are able to leave our bags until late afternoon on our last day in Venice. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful, with a view of the Grand Canal. The hotel is very conveniently placed, in a very quiet alley, but with lots of shops and places to eat within 2 minutes' walk.
There was nothing to complain about, once you've found the place, which is tucked away very discretely.

The location was excellent, right in the middle of everything, the room was great with 2 big windows overlooking the beautiful yard, the hotel have an elevator for the comfort of not taking stairs, especially with the laggage, the breakfast is something very special to start the day in spacious cozy room with the views of grand canal and classic music! The water taxi from the airport can bring you right to the facility, so you feel like a celebrity in a 5 star hotel :) Many thanks to everyone taking care of me during my stay, definitely recommend this beautiful hotel!
The only thing I was missing an opportunity to have hot water for evening tea as there is no kettle in the room.

The location was perfect - right by the Rialto bridge so there was lots to do in the evenings with regard to food and drink. Easily walkable to all the major sights. We splashed out on a water taxi because we had lots of luggage (it will set you back £140 from the airport) but it is less than 5 min walk from the water bus stops. The staff were polite, the room was clean with a lovely big bathroom. The entrance was secure. The continental breakfast was lovely with a big spread and you could squeeze your own orange juice which was delicious.
The door of the shower unit was not attached properly so it was a big frustrating but it didn't leak and the shower itself was hot and powerful. The AC was only working in fan mode. I would have liked the coffee to be stronger in the morning - a minor point to some but important to me! I got a few mosquito bites despite the mosquito-repellant device in the room - I guess this is to be expected in the heat when near the water - so remember your anti-mozzie spray!

Loved the location, and the historic elegant home. Breakfast was generous, with something to please everyone. Served in elegant dining room. Dock right outside the hotel, convenient for water taxis. 10 min walk to Realto bridge. Good shower, lots of hot water. Very clean room and bathroom. We would return if we pass thru Venice again. More like staying in a home than a hotel. Friendly helpful staff.
Bedroom linens and mattress could use an upgrade.

The property is excellent and much attention is paid to details at facilities. We left early on our last day(before breakfast) so they made us a to go package with many delicious treats The only issue I see that is not typical is their room key system. At one point we had no access to building for an hour, but we don't have keys to re enter. Great place and people, but a simple change with keys is a good consideration

We were only there 2 nights and did not have a chance to eat breakfast as we were out early in the morning. The breakfast room looked great, overlooked the canal. Breakfast looked great. We wished we could have had breakfast at least one day. The room was very large. Lot of closet space. Location was great. We needed to take a water taxi to and from the train station and there was a slip right next to the hotel. Took us 2 minutes to walk to the hotel when we got off the boat. The ferry was only a short 7 minute walk if you did not want to pay for the water taxi. Great location. It was a family staff, brothers and mother. All were very nice and helpful.
The shower was a little small, however manageable. Not much more to say about what I didn't like.

The place is excellent. Everything was above our expectations (which were already very high). I traveled with my girlfriend for her birthday, and wanted everything to be perfect. And definitely that was the case. The indications provided to reach the place, as well as information regarding activities and places to know in Venice, were very helpful. The location is ideal, next to the Canal Grande and just a few blocks from the Ponte de Rialto. In other words, pretty close to the main touristic attractions but still in a quiet spot. We were given a very big and comfortable apartment. Everything was extremely clean. The bedroom, the bathroom, the living room, all had all the necessary installations. The continental breakfast offered all kind of foods: fresh fruits, cereals, different varieties of cheese and ham, eggs, bakery, yogurt and marmalades. The price is very reasonable. Definitely this is the place we will stay next time we visit Venice.
