Nice sized room and very warm in winter. Decor was very Venetian as well. Friendly staff made us feel welcomed and even offered luggage storage free of charge. Very happy overall!

Depending on what room you’re staying in there are quite a few flights of stairs; just be careful how much luggage you bring.

The room itself was excellent. Spacious and tastefully decorated. We were in the suite and I have to say the pictures on the booking.com site are absolutely to be believed. It *is* that gorgeous. Props to whoever re-glorified this place. Location was perfect. Very short walk from the San Angelo ferry stop, with only one short flight of stairs leading to the door (8-9 steps up&down). A stones throw away from San Stefano (and the Aperol lounge, which frankly is a highlight of the trip) and good choice of breakfast coffee options. 10 min from San Marco. 10 min from pretty much everything tbh. The heated towel rail did not work and the bedroom TV sound is awful. Honestly, not experience breaking (we didn't go to Venice to watch TV) but it is a detractor from an otherwise excellent place that full of character.

Great location and beautiful room! The hotel is a short walk from one of the boat stations which made it really easy to get to and from the airport with luggage, it's also a really great location in general with a lovely little cafe at the end of the street (great for grabbing something to eat in the morning before heading out). Staff were really friendly and helpful too! We were in a room on the ground floor but had no issues and as Venice is very quiet after 10/11pm anyway we had no noise issues at night.

This hotel was wonderful, it had everything we needed in the room and a very spacious shower which is something as tall people we struggled to find in Italy! The bed was comfortable and very quiet for saying how central the hotel was to busy areas. All the big attractions were only short walks away and the air conditioning was wonderful to escape the Venice Heat! Great to have a safe available too.

Only critique was that the usb charging port didn’t seem to work but everything else was great.

Bathroom with amazing shower, bed was comfy but pillows very firm (not a major downside) and TV with Netflix for the evenings. Place was very clean, couldn’t hear much noise, and after having a bad couple nights in another hotel hence the change, staff gave us a late check out which was nice! Location was amazing, lots of restaurants and bars within 5 mins or further out in 15 mins. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing boutique hotel, beautifully decorated and very comfortable and absolutely spotless. Highlights as follows: - Location: fantastic. Very easy to reach by foot as well as public transport (vaporetto less than 5 mins away). all the main sights/areas can be reached within a 10-15 min walk. Although very central, it’s located on a quiet street and as such we did not experience any noise. - Hotel itself: beautiful old palace with some original features. Tastefully decorated in the Venetian style but with modern, warm touches. I believe they only have a small number of rooms. Again, very quiet. - Room (Veronese): spacious, beautifully decorated with modern comforts. The seating area with tea, coffee and biscuits was a lovely touch. Room was absolutely spotless and made up daily. - Bathroom: absolutely spotless and cleaned daily. Powerful shower. - Amenities: small safe and mini fridge were very handy. Soap/shampoo provided. Hair dryer was provided in bathroom (small side note: although perfectly functional, if you need a powerful hair dryer for styling I would suggest bringing your own). Netflix available on the TV. Good wifi. Plenty of plugs in the room and bathroom including a USB plug which was handy. - Communication: day before arrival we received helpful instructions on how to reach the hotel. Throughout our stay the staff were very friendly and helpful. we absolutely loved Ai Cherubini and highly recommend staying here.

Location was great! Easy to get to the main places. The rooms are beautiful, it had that Venetian touch so I loved the look of mine. I’m also 30 weeks pregnant and they accommodated us with a better and bigger room on the second and third night as the first night our room was on the top floor (no elevator). Both rooms looked great, but the second room was spacious and beautiful!

They don’t offer breakfast, just tea and coffee with some amaretto biscotti (so we bought cereal and milk) but the only thing was they didn’t have bowls in the room so we had to ask reception for some one night, we ended up using the tea cups the other night because no one was at reception as it was 7am. No bin in the rooms except for the really small bathroom bin. The bed comfort wasn’t the greatest, a little too hard for my taste. I had to use extra cushioning (pregnant or not)

Excellent location, short walk (literally 1-2 mins) from the Sant'Angelo water bus station. Quality boutique hotel with lavish Venetian furnishings and the gentlemen at front desk are wonderful. We were able to leave our luggage at the front desk after check-out (note: this is a manned reception area, although not locked up). The air conditioning worked well and there was a tiny safe available for use. It would fit passports, but not electronic devices like an iPad. We had a view overlooking the street in front of the hotel, which was quaint, but you could hear people talking as they went by.

We asked for an extra bed, which was a fold-up cot. The supports were rather uncomfortable, so we put the mattress directly on the floor, which was better. Perhaps you could invest in a better fold-up cot. This would not stop us from staying again, as we really enjoyed the location and service.

Very well located boutique hotel , just in 5 min walking distance from the Rialto bridge and in 2 walking distance from Vaparetto stop. Perfect location to investigate Venice. Close there you can find a lot of local restaurants and bars. Good sound isolation in the hotel, we never heard people walking close to our room. Friendly staff, always keen on helping you. Nice interior design, typical Venetian style. Good sized room with the calm street views. Nice size of bedroom and bathroom. The modern shower with a good water exit. You could even find the anti-mosquitos liquid prepared for staying in the hotel.

Hair dryer could be better, it is almost impossible to well dry your hair if needed

Very charming little hotel built in the 16th century. Very nice staff, two brothers taking care of the hotel. Clean, luxurious and cosy rooms. Confortable beds.

No breakfast on site. Not in the center, if you miss one bridge from the train station, it takes one hour walking to get there and you need to take the boat on top of that with all your luggages. Our flight back was early morning, we paid 90€ for a taxi boat of 5 minutes to the taxi station, and from there you need to find another taxi car at 5am for 40€. The other option is to take a boat straight to the airport and it’s 1h10 minutes and 160€! Not a convenient location!
