This is a very nice studio apartment behind a home on a busy highway alongside Lake Hayes. We selected it for the location. We were walking from Queenstown to Arrowtown and wanted a place to stay to split up the walk, This location was a good choice. The room was comfortable. The hosts made yogurt, bread and fruit available for us to serve ourselves. There is a washing machine so we were able to wash our walking clothes and set them out on the drying rack to dry overnight. The bathroom was very nicely designed, clean and modern, but it lacked a shelf in the shower to hold soap, shampoo, etc. As we are two sisters traveling, we appreciated the twin beds. The hosts provided privacy- we never met them although we did see them come and go. Their process of contactless arrival and departure may appeal to guests.

The home is across the busy highway from the Lake Hayes Trail that we were walking when we arrived and we had to run across the highway when the busy traffic provided an opportunity. Someone is a car would not have that issue, but might have to cross traffic to pull into the driveway. We did not find any walking accessible places to eat nearby so we had peanut butter sandwiches for dinner in the room.

The host was super friendly upon our arrival. The room was extremely spacious, with a huge comfortable bed and a lounge. The kitchenette was great and we really appreciated the breakfast items available. We indulged in having a bath - a luxury we'd missed while travelling - and it was the most comfortable tub we've ever been in. The bathroom was very modern and it's awesome to have a washing machine and dryer available, even though we didn't need it on our trip but it'd be very useful for some people. The WiFi was great quality. The location is great, literally just across the road from Lake Hayes and only a short drive to Frankton, Queenstown or Arrowtown. We'd definitely stay here again!!!

It's a bit tricky to find the entrance when driving both in daylight and more so at night, especially with the fast speed limit on the road. Maybe a bigger sign or different placement of the sign could help?

We loved our cosy room, our host was super friendly and helpful with advising us about what to see in the area. We loved the close location to Lake Hayes and Arrowtown.

The room was advertised as "Lake View" room, which it wasn't, as it was at the back of the house. However it was a lovely room and we could walk around to the front to see the Lake.

it's in a lovely location just outside of Queenstown, i was for some reason under the impression it had a lake view when I seen the photos. The studio was however at the back of the main house property. Still it was a beautifully presented clean and tidy. Big thank you for your kind hospitality.

The accommodation was at Lake Hayes just outside Queenstown with beautiful views. Excellent facilities and very good accommodation.

The whole time we stayed we did not meet anyone at the property. We stayed in Lilac Lodge at the back of the main house where there was no one residing. It seemed a little strange as we had booked for 3 nights.

Excellent location directly across the road from the Lake Hayes Showgrounds. The property is set back from the road so road noise is not a problem. Large studio space including lounge area and bed, small kitchenette, seperate large bathroom (including a spa bath!!) and seperate laundry. Excellent shower, two hand basins & heated towel rail for warm cosy towels. Private parking for the car provided easy access to our accommodation for unloading luggage.

Kitchen facilities need improvement please.

A lovely light continental breakfast was provided along with a bowl of fresh fruit and selection of teas, I was delighted to find a proper china tea cup in the well appointed cosy studio, The king sized bed was comfy and the sheets crisp. The location is stunning wish we had time to stay a little longer.

We had a bit of trouble with the TV, so we enjoyed watching an old movie on dvd

Location is excellent for being close enough to Queenstown to take advantage of activities, restaurants, etc. but far enough away that the nights are quiet and undisturbed. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was great: large enough for both shower and tub, double sinks, instant hot water and big fluffy towels. Perfect when you come back from a day in the cold and snow. Heat pump kept the room toasty warm. Quite a generous continental breakfast was provided in the room.

A light outside the door to the room that we could switch on. Was very dark coming back in the evening and we had to use flashlight to see to open the lock. We could see that that there were light fixtures outside the garage, but the switch seemed to be controlled in the main part of the lodge. Also a larger mat outside front door: both because the tiles were very slippery after the rain, and to dry our shoes before walking on the carpet in the room.

A great location being able to cross the road to the wonderful Lake and walking track and being easily accessible to the lovely town of Arrowtown and then the following day going to Queenstown. It’s a lovely studio behind their home and it’s comfortable and peaceful.

Sitting outside would be very nice.

As a lodge we thought we would have access to all the rooms shown in the photos but this was not the case. most photos were of owners accomodation. Were not shown spa and offered the use of it. Bedroom and bathroom were lovely and spacious but just not what we were expecting.
