Wow, what a lovely stay, first time in this Iconic part of history. My most comfortable bed on my week long trip, great location - great meal in the bar, thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Will most definitely come again

Don't what to sound negative - but room old, old carpet (with stains) tired paintwork, Bed was the most comfortable I have had, best night sleep. Apart from the looks, the stay was well worth it, will definitely come back - even with the tired look.

The room was nice and spacious with every facility that we needed. Access without coming through the hotel was good. Sky TV was good and excellent wifi. Dinner in their restaurant was nice and reasonably priced. Service and there was minimal delay between ordering and the food arriving. Being in the main street meant we were close to everything.

We were disappointed that they could not find our booking when we arrived. Somehow they had my first name correct but my last name incorrect. While I understand their reasons, it would have been nice of the host to pre-warn us that they had stopped providing breakfast. We booked there because we could get dinner and breakfast onsite. We had intended to pay with eftpos. However the hotel had used the credit card, required by booking.com to guarantee the room, to pay for the room before we arrived and charged us a surcharge.

The owner was lovely, the room very comfy and everything you wanted was there. right in the shopping street, great music in the restaurant. beautiful stay. Made me feel welcome although i was alone.

i just didnt know the front door will be closed when i left at 9am so had to go down the stairs with my uggage to go around the building but this is nothing. Just would have i forgotten my keys in the room or something, i would have been stuck. but i rate this place 99% / 100%

The food was delicious, great menu, served by smiley waitress. All staff were very good, helpful & cheerful. Room was adequate, very clean, comfy bed, great shower. Location in the main street is excellent.

Somewhere to hang clothes would've been good. Lighting could've better for reading, lamps were not bright enough.

Shower could have been better and a few scuff marks on walls, but nothing major. Bit of noise on Friday evening but remarkably quiet considering it’s part of a popular pub.

quiet room after dinner service finished in the town. free parking nearby and opportunity to move the car to outside the hotel back door for the morning packing. Nice and easy for walks around town and river. Easy to access food, coffee, cafe etc. A quieter place to stay outside Queenstown.

Steps up to rooms, and a lot of clutter in internal courtyard. This was off putting but these areas have been effected by events in the last few years, and the room was spotless.

Great location and presentation but just the loo coming off the lounge and no latch on door, probably okay for family but the bedrooms almost connected but space constraints I know. We had a great weekend.liked outdoor area

The room was just right for us as it is located right in the middle of the town and it is part of the Restaurant Bar where we had a wonderful meal 🥘 We were served by the owner Kerry and her lovely daughter Briana. They run a very welcoming business…got to try the kiwi roast and the chicken Parmesan…😋

Location was excellent. Pub served a good meal. Loved waking up to snow all around.

Was a busy night in the pub and when we had an issue in our room the staff were prioritising the pub patrons over us.

Nice and close to Queenstown, but a lot cheaper than trying to stay in Queenstown itself. Quaint little pub in a historic town. Staff were very helpful when we had issues with the air conditioner. We were able to park close to entrance.
