The hotel is newly opened, only 9 days ago. The location is on a very beautiful mountainside overlooking the quiet small villages located deep in the valley and the pomegranate and rose farms nearby. The rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is very tasty and ordered from the menu taking into consideration the sustainability of resources in comparison with the buffet. Special compliments to the chef :-)

The checking in and out are taking more time than usual, probably due to the new opening system. The staff in the restaurant are taking care of the needs of the visitors by asking them, which is good, but they need to minimise the frequency of asking as the visitors need also privacy .

The breakfast was delicious and a lot of verities. Staff is very friendly. The location was superb 👌.

Less activities special for the children. The water pressure at shower week.

The view from the hotel is spectacular. The breakfast was great. The hotel is very fresh, everything shining new and nice. The pool area is one of the best I've visited across 84 countries =)

You MUST have a 4x4 car to get to the location - and the hotel doesn't provide this information neither at its Booking page, nor at its website. This should've been mentioned in a separate message - but alas, it comes as a surprise when you try to enter the road going up the mountains. The hotel transfer from the checkpoint is outragesly expensive, circa 200 usd both ways. But you can find a local driver to help you at a more reasonable price.

The hotel is newly opened at a spectacular location facing beautiful Jabal Akhdhar mountains and canyons. It is perfect place to relax. Staff are wonderful and very supportive. Check-in staff very helpful and completed the formalities very fast. The room is very spacious, clean and provided with all necessary amenities. Breakfast was excellent. The roof top facility is very exceptional for dining and relaxing.

Music sound was a bit loud at the roof top. Couldn’t find the menu for in room dining

- We liked really everything. - We loved the view from our room onto the canyon and the superb swimming pool. Fabulous! And at the sunset an extraordinary mix of coulors! -We liked very much to bath and swim in the heated pool, with the view onto the mountains. - The room by itself (room with canyon view) was very good, with a table and 2 chairs on the balcony to enjoy the view. - The staff was very nice and helpful : reception, swimming pool, dinner/ breakfast.

We liked everything

This new hotel was really the highlight of our trip to Oman. The view into the canyon is amazing, breakfast is really good and room and facilities are all new. Their outside pool is heated as the hotel is at 2000 meter. They opened in September 2024. We also went into the famous Anantara Hotel next to it but I really recommend to book this hotel which was also half the price.

Nothing, everything was great

The canyon views from our balcony were just out of this world, especially during sunset. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Haammad and Renae in the restaurant and Leena at reception. The room was cosy and comfortable, and the gym was great. It truly was a fabulous experience staying at this hotel and I highly recommend to anyone looking to stay at Jabal Akhdar.

This hotel is new and amazing with stunning views and facilities like the rooftop Vue restaurant and the Spa. Breakfast buffet was a real spread. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed stay and definitely would come back

The jacuzzi temperature was not warm enough

Perched on the cliff offering the best view around. Waking up to a magnificent view while staying in bed. Although newly opened it promises a lot of fun with its rooftop bar, spa and other offerings.

The food offering can be better specially that jebel akhdar does not offer a lot of great dining options so there is an opportunity there. A bit pricey.

Amazing hotel, amazing location and super service! We loved it! Super new hotel, large pool with very good facilities, top gym, nice restaurants with great high quality food and stunning views. check in and out was perfect. nice rooms and super friendly service

In room dining: bottle of Miraval for about 200 Euro overpriced… otherwise nothing to complain
