The hotel is in a great location in Casco Viejo. The staff were very friendly and helpful and all speak English. There is a supermarket within easy walking distance and the hotel has a garden restaurant/cateteria which serves excellent American style breakfast/ brunch and dinner. Our apartment was large and old style with wooden floors, comfortable bed, air- conditioning and fan. It was simply and tastefully furnished.

On one or two nights, there was a lot of noise from a downstairs patio belonging to the hotel, where private events are held. Just be aware that there is no lift as it is an old building.

Staff were very helpful. The location is exceptional. The rooftop terrace is amazing for views and fresh air and listening to the neighborhood activity. Walking distance to many sights, activities, food, drink and local meat/produce market.

If you like quiet, the neighborhood isn’t right for you. Music and firecrackers happen many nights until almost dawn. The apartments have double windows and balcony doors, so the busy neighborhood sound is pretty well muffled. The rain did leak a bit into our room. But it’s intense rain and roof leaks can be very challenging to fix.

Had a great stay at Las Clementinas, I was here for 7 nights and used it as a base for various day trips from Panama City. The staff were lovely and very helpful with information and also organised transport to/from the airport for me. The room was nice, comfy bed, very spacious and it was nice to have the garden area too. The restaurant downstairs is good too. The location was perfect, it was easy to walk to anywhere in Casco Viejo and an easy pickup for Ubers or Tours throughout my week. There's also a small grocery store very nearby which was useful.

Street noise, there were a couple of nights where the neighbours were extremely loud with music and a microphone, but I understand this isn't the fault of the hotel..

Great location in the Casco Viejo. Rooms are very large and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lovely terrace with a great view of the city. The location is quite safe, with police headquarters in front and officers throughout the day.

As of November 2024, they were renovating the Mahalo (the breakfast location underneath) Regarding noise, which other guests have commented, on one of the nights there was a loud party next door. The windows are well isolated, so it's only really a problem if you are a light sleeper. Perhaps a bit overpriced for what it is.

Room was very comfortable and we didn't hear any traffic noise, although on Friday night we heard distant party music). Supplied coffee in the room was unexpectedly fantastic. Breakfast on the patio was prix fix at $10 and was a great value . Good location for exploring the old city. Highly recommend the Moya Museum (free!) . We went early before the tourist crowds showed up. We also had them do a load of laundry and it was returned in three hours. A good value for the money if you don't mind stairs.

We had a very early checkout before any staff was there and accidentally left the keys in the room and couldn't get out of the electric door between the patio and the foyer.. (Our fault and a long story that ended well anyway). So if they tell you to leave the keys on the front desk...pay attention!

Everything! Warm welcome, large, spacious room with simple but gorgeous decor and perfect for a 3 year old to spread out and play, comfortable beds and an amazing shower, lovely small patios to take in the view, basic kitchen for morning coffee and to store leftovers, excellent restaurant right downstairs (Mahola), cute garden, luggage storage, safe keyfob entry to the hotel or staff on site. Easy to walk to everywhere (Canal museum, Unido coffee, Cafe Cocacola, etc). Zero complaints and would stay here again. They also had the sofa bed already made up and ready for our kid and arranged an airport pick up.

We had zero complaints but first time visitors to Panama might find the contrasts in Casco Viejo a little disorienting. We had an abandoned building right outside our balcony and a view of a beautiful garden, which makes sense for Panama City but might be intimidating to new travelers. We didnt see any parking close but taxis were excellent at getting us to the door. You do have to climb stairs with your luggage but they can help if needed.

The room was stylish, spacious and clean. It had double glazing, so was very quiet. I arrived after their reception was closed, but their instructions to get to the room was easy to follow. Good location, just within the old town. There's a nice restaurant downstairs, but I didn't use it.

They took payment on my credit card before I arrived and overcharged me by US$5. When I raised it they refunded the overcharge, explaining that it "the system added it automatically", which I've never heard of before. If it wasn't for that, I would have said it was a perfect stay.

The charm of the building really lends itself to an elegant yet historical stay. It was so beautiful, with traditional charm and modern comforts (especially the awesome AC system!!). And it felt safe having the police station right next door. The attached Mahalo restaurant was delicious!!

The building across the street from our room looked rundown with drunk people out there all night long. The windows prevented the noise from disturbing our sleep for the most part, but when they'd get rowdy, we could hear it.

The receptionist, shuttle driver and wait staff at the adjoining restaurant were all friendly, helpful and gracious. We enjoyed the restaurants in the area like Tantalos and Nazca 21, walking about to the fish market and the day trips to the Panama Canal and the Embera village, the International Panama Musem and stopping in at the churches.

Most of the time, the room was quiet. The double layer of windows keeps out most noise. However on a Thursday night, a wedding reception occurred with noise exceeding 100 db penetrating every level of the hotel rooms late into the night and early morning. The receptionist said that they could not do anything about it. It behooves the hotel to make agreements with the hosting wedding party that they keep the noise down to about 50 db. They can still have a good time and the hotel guests can sleep.

One of the best things for us was the location, Las Clementinas is located right where you want to be, right in Casco Viejo where you've got many nice restaurants, roof top bars, and Instagram worthy streets worth discovering. But then it gets even better once you enter the room. Calling it a room is an understatement, since it's actually a fully furnished and equipped apartment. If you book Las Clementinas you don't just get a place to stay, you get a place where you could live. All in the style of the old town, with hardwood floors and fitting furniture. You won't find a place that makes you feel more like you're living in an old central American city. Apart from the location and the style, we liked the following: - the bed was very comfortable - centralised aircon makes sure not only the bedroom, but the entire apartment stays clean - even if we didn't cook, the kitchen seemed well equipped with things you don't usually find (microwave oven, blender, toaster, large fridge, etc.) - room service can be ordered from the restaurant next door, which is very convenient.

Not an issue for us, but it is good to realise that the building is old. It looks good but it also means that there's no elevator, and sometimes the wifi wasn't as fast.
