The reception by Francis was excellent. The checking in was seamless. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed swimming at the heated pool. The beds were cosy enhancing good quality sleep. The pillows were fluffy. The room was spacious enough,there's socket near the bed. I loved the bathroom floor. Theres a restaurant on site ,however if you love home made meals ,there is a Mall approximately 15 minutes away. This was a home away from home.

The swimming pool is a bit small with lots of trainers and trainees. There's no notice that the pool does not have a shallow or deep end to alert inexperienced swimmers. However there are registered swimming coaches on site.

We stayed in the 'old school' part of the hotel and loved it. Our room.was better than the photos. The gardens, especially outside by the road and entering the hotel are lovely. The pool area has a nice vibe too. The surrounding area has supermarkets and restaurants in walking distance.

It would have been nice to have some basics in the apartment, for example, tea, coffee and water plus a few more plates, cutlery etc. There is no full time service by the pool, you need to phone your request through or go to the restaurant. Sometimes felt that we were disturbing them.

Staff are so friendly, is spacious and fully furnished with everything you need, the small "shop/fridge" to buy soft drinks is very handy and location is very good. Staff were extremely helpful for everything, very kind and made my stay very comfortable. Everything advertised is indeed true and I would totally go back!

It would be great to include at least 1 tiny bottle of water as complimentary. The curtains are white in most windows except the main one so room gets bright, which anyway I solved with a sleeping mask. Unfortunately, a very specific one off occurance was, that there was some sort of insect in the bed since I woke up with many bites and I developed an allergic reaction; this is a one off because I had stayed in another room the same week and nothing like that happened and was perfect, but worth to check that specific room.

Woodmere is fantastic! We traveled with our four kids and stayed in a large apartment and the apartment, staff, pool, and facilities exceeded our expectations. Woodmere will definitely be our go-to place to stay when we are in Nairobi.

The rooms are a bit old but this gives the place charm. A few things didn't quite work like the shower head kept falling off the wall, the door lock stopped working one day and some lights didn't work. But we were able to over-look most of these things given how great everything else was.

I just love the interior design of the older apartments - the style is unique, the vintage furniture has a special feel about it and the large balconies are great for hanging out or working. It is great to have a proper bath and not just a shower. Recent addition of a restaurant in a new building is a very nice bonus as well as access to a spacious swimming pool. The apartments' location is very convenient as well. Highly recommended!

I understand why you have swim lessons but makes it really hard to access pool during the day

Its a perfect stay in Nairobi. Everyone is super helpful, and cooperative . Be it the receptionist, the house keeping staff or the lifeguard coach beside the pool. They are the nicest of people I met on the trip. I was suppose to check out at 11:00 but asked Alice ( at the reception) and she told me I could stay till 1. Its not a issue. They have solution to your every problem. Very communicative and understanding staff!

Nice, spacious apartment, place to spend longer time - you can really feel like at home :-) Kitchen well equipped, big bathroom, comfortable bedroom and living room, and a balcony sourranded by beautifull greens and with pots with flowers.

its a small thing - while walking to the apartment building you have to go by a narrow path - along the swimming pool, next to furnitures, umbrellas etc. during the day often occupaid by kids and accompanying adults - so sometimes it its uncomfortable to go through.

Amenities. Daily cleaning services. Excellent location. Friendly staff. Great price for a 4 star hotel in a posh area.

Construction everyday except Sunday. Also my phone was snatched by bike thieves as I was waiting for the Uber outside the gate of this apartment during my second day in Nairobi. Apparently this has been a known issue on this street as evidenced by the warning posted by the Thai embassy next door. It would have been great if the apartment homes could have warned that.

Comfortable room, lovely hot shower, great pool area and use of gym. Staff were very friendly and allowed us to leave our luggage in the office as we had a late night flight. There are lots of cafes and shops in the local area... Within walking distance. Airport transfer was KES 2500 which the hotel organised for us. We met the american owner in the gym and enjoyed hearing about how he'd come to Kenya and settled here many years ago.

We only stayed one night but if we'd stayed longer and needed to cook, it would be great to have more mugs, glasses, plates etc. A few lamps have slightly twitchy connections! Would be nice to have tea/ coffee and drinking water for guests in the apartment.
