Clean and comfortable. Close to Courtenay shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly and efficient. Bed and linens were clean and comfortable. Nice to have both a fridge and microwave to store and reheat the pizza we ordered from the Flying Canoe next door.

Although we had a room on the top floor and quiet side of the bldg, the hotel is located on a main road and close to a busy intersection, so there was the rush of traffic noise all day long -- early morning to late at night. That's not the hotel's fault of course, and we found if we kept our sliding glass doors closed, it was not disruptive to our sleep.

The breakfast was good, very filling and the food was hot, unlike some other buffet breakfasts. The bed was comfortable for me, not so much for my wife (too soft for her). Bathroom was nice and clean, although the toilets are really low.

Toilets were pretty low, and heavy use of Febreeze (or something like it) in the hallways. Was a little pricey for the level of hotel and location. Billing issue with Booking.com - did not show the total price in the section of the booking that said Total Price. Neglected to reflect the room taxes, which may have changed our choice of hotel.

Fabulous breakfast, with a good selection. Great area to eat in as well. Liked everything about the hotel, parking available downstairs. Staff were perfect, even left an article in the room, which was available when we stayed again after returning from Prince Rupert

We didn't find anything to complaint about, are stay both times was outstanding.

Breakfast was great! So much choice for both myself and partner! Chose your location as it was close to shopping and trails .

Didn’t like that we couldn’t leave our dog in the room. It meant that only one of us could shop given the time we had while mall was open. Then we had to wait for dusk for the day to cool down in order to leave our small pup in the vehicle to shop at Costco. It was a rushed shop and not relaxed.

I thought the breakfast was exceptional in that much thought was given to it. Self serve and unlimited portions. Fantastic variety. Very Very complimentary. More than expected. Food was very good. A beautiful room to eat in with friendly servers.

I didn't care about it. The view from the room was a little dull. Very minor

The staff were super-friendly and ultra helpful. Rooms comfortable and clean. Exceptional breakfast. The location was perfect for our needs. A really good stay.

We were slightly confused trying to find reception as the hotel has two separate buildings but a bystander helped.

I appreciate your environmental efforts regarding moving away from individual shampoo and conditioner plastic bottles in the rooms. It would be great if you could do the same in the restaurant and get rid of individual jams and butter. Thanks for listening.

Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean and spacious. Special request of scent free room was totally accommodated. Nice walkway along river behind location. Grocery store and other services across the street. Staff were fantastic!

Was a bit expensive compared to accommodations others that were attending our event were paying at other places. A bit nervous about the sketchy people in the area and on river walkway.

like the new wing. the beds are super comfortable. surprisingly quiet even though it’s close to a major street. staff was very friendly and professional. easy breakfast we took into our room. clean rooms and very convenient access.

There is no enforcement of masks. someone actually told me they don’t have a mask when I came Jon them in the hallway. really?! After 2 years not having a mask? having people smoke in the central courtyard is retrograde. schools not be allowed. they can go and smoke on the street or away from main thoroughfare.

On ground floor. No view on river/ water/ bay or mountains (valid for whole hotel). had to walk around the hotel (busy road) to get to river walk with dogs
