The staff there were very welcoming, able to speak english to converse and even helped us get us cheaper tickets for the national park and their Charming xiangxi show. The location of the stay is just a 10mins walk from the southern gate of the national park which is very convenient for anyone visiting the avatar mountains. Around the stay is also an open field mountain side farm which is great for a morning stroll if you want. Our room was well maintained and clean. Toilet has a bidet so that was a plus. Also a bonus, our room had a automatic mahjong table which anyone can enjoy. They provide a simple breakfast for you to choose from, no complains. You can also order dinner from them at an earlier time and be ready at the timing you want, with local meats and veges which was very nice and filling! The owner of the stay is also very nice, I left my jacket at the stay forgetting about it and he offered to help express mail my item to my next stay and was very helpful and communicative throughout the whole process! This stay is definitely worth a shot, away from the usual city stays, you get to stargaze a little at night away from the city lights. Give it a shot!

The property is managed by a family who did all they could to make us feel at home. Right from the arrival we were upgraded to a much better room with a smal fee. The whole rice terraces around the hotel belong to that family and the owner was kind enough to show us around as she accompanied us to the ZHangiaje Ticket office on a very rainy day. She was always available to give us all the information we needed to enjoy our stay in the park and never counted her time when it came to help us !!! The welcome from all the staff and the assistance is really what make this stay unforgettable. You will not regret booking here, it's more than just a hotel, it's a homestay where you feel like home. Like other people mentionned, the fact that it's located nearby (10 min walk) one of the less crowded ticket office is a BIG PLUS and helps us save time. The village where the hotel is located is quiet and charming, especially the side around the terraces. Food in the hotel is good (maybe a little bit spicy so please ask non spicy if you prefer it that way)....There were some other restaurant options in the village but we didn't try them. We were happy with Purespace food option. Th ebreakfast, although not fullly western, had at least a few things we could eat (yoghurt, fruits, eegs, bread, juice). I think booking here is one of the BEST OPTION when you visite Zhangiajie. Lastly you can count on the hotel if you need to rent a driver, and they are not too restrictive in regards to checkout time : again it feels more like home than a hotel. My 3 years old boy loved the place and he was very happy staying in this homestay. PLEASE book RIGHT NOW !!!

The location was exceptional. Nestled outside of the Zhangjiajie National Park, it was within walking distance of the park. The scenic views of the village were idyllic - a landmark in its own right

The highest order of service any hotel can offer is to anticipate the needs of its customers. Susu, the hotel manager, embodies this and made sure that I had the best experience possible. She was a master concierge and helped me book my cars and tickets with expert efficiency and with her help I was able to craft an itinerary that was beyond something I could have came up with on my own. I was taken everywhere by guides and drivers that were friendly and accommodating and I was able to make the most out of my solo trip and feel safe and taken care of the entire stay. The property was clean and the scene from my room was an influencer’s paradise.

The best part of the hotel was Kevin. I would give him 5 stars for his dedication and support. It wasn't difficult for us to communicate with him as he could manage with English. He helped us to get to the zhangjiajie entrance with his car 2 times and guided us to book our tickets for the park. Felt at home atmosphere as all staff were very friendly though they didn't speak English. Our 4 days stay was memorable and would highly recommend this place and Kevin.

It was very close to Tianji Mountain ticket house about 5 min. by foot. The village is very quiet and cozy, and convenient with small convenience stores, restaurants, tea house nearby. The staff are very kind and warm. Though many of them are not colloquial English, we could communicate through mobile translator app. The Manager gave us tip how to travel Zhangjiajie, and even helped booking some tickets by online. And, the masseurs were also good quality. We used the largest room which has such an awesome view. The bed at the window side has glass ceiling that allows you to watch the abundant stars when all the lights turned off.

With only one bathroom at the largest family room, it may be better separate the wall between shower booth and toilet rather than the glass wall.

This is such an incredible place to stay near Zhangjiajie. Being at one of the least popular gates it makes entry to the park easy (10min walk), yet the entrance is well connected by road to major points. The owner was super nice and always helpful. Despite his limited English we were always able to communicate using translator apps. He drove us to the entrance when we asked, looked up bus timetables, he even helped us find new drone propellor within an hour after we clipped them at the park one time. Speaking of drone, if you like flying it this spot is perfect. The park opens way after sunrise and before sunset, however as this place is located in a direct line of sight with the park you can get stunning shots right from the property. It's about a 3km flight, but once you get there your mind will be blown. I recommend the small wooden platform with a wooden heart about 80m right of the property so you don't disturb other guests. The room itself is amazing, bed is huge and super soft. Always clean and smelling nice. Oh, did I mention we got a free room upgrade? You will definitely have a 'purespace' experience here, watching the everchanging moods of this beautiful area through the massive glass windows. The breakfast was included and is simple but yummy. Mostly Chinese option food wise, and its good to note there is not much around so you might need to cab to Wulingyuan if you want lots of food options. It's about 35-40yuan one way on the Didi app. If we ever come back to Zhanjiajie we will definitely stay here again, it made our time here so much nicer!

Nothing really that we didn't like, but if I had to give some recommendations I would add the following: - WiFi is very slow. I think for this level of luxury it would be good if the owners invested in a faster connection. I got around 1Mbps speed which makes streaming or even browsing sometimes difficult. 4G reception is good though if you have a local Sim. - This isn't common in accommodations in China generally but a small fridge would have been nice. Would love to have been able to have a cool drink on the terrace, etc... It can get hot in this area so that would be a nice plus.

We had a really good time in Purespace. It was my birthday and my boyfriend and them organised a special dinner upon arrival. The host helped us getting all the tickets for Forest Park, Grand Canyon, etc. The entrance to the Park is a 15 min walk but they also offer a ride if you need. The breakfast has everything you want including chinese food, cofee, toasts... perfect. The rooms are big and well equiped, big bathtub, separated shower, nice swimming pool, enormous windows and breathtaking views of the mountains. What else do you need? Recommended!

Beautiful place, wonderful host. Our host went thousands of extra miles to help us and arrange stuff for us so we can fully enjoy Zhangjiajie in our short 2 days trip. This hotel has the best view in town (if you pick the better room), and the room was super comfy. We went during low season, quite cold but lucky the sky was clear so we can fully enjoy our experience!

We took the largest room of the hotel and stayed for 3 nights. It was worth the price. Large room with all the facilities. Room was very clean with pretty nice decoration. Also got table for work. It was actually a perfect room on rainy day in Zhangjiajie as you can enjoy the fog and mountain view from the 3 side windows. We can actually see the Avatar mountain far away on sunny day. There is one large double king size bed which can comfortably use for upto 4 people, and another normal king size bed. The shower room is quite large with hot water! My most fav in the room is the Japanese style toilet seat which is always warm. There is heater in the room as well. The staff came to clean up the room everyday, and also helped changing towels. All in all, the room is perfect for family. The dinner at the hotel was very good as well, we love the chicken soup! (Come with the whole chicken) and also the stir fried pork with sweet pepper. The hotel can help you plan the trip in Zhangjiajie and book tickets for you in advance. And also they would drop you off and pick up from Wulingyuan National Park in the middle gate for free. This is my second time in Zhangjiajie, im so lucky to find this place!

Beautiful location, view on the mountains. Room was spacious and well equiped. It is 5 minutes walking distance from the entrance of the park. Food was good and staff really helpful. This village is beautiful and quiet which is nice compare to the vibrant atmosphere of the national park. Definetly recommend this place
