Hotel Saint-Louis Marais was SUPERB. The design, location and service cannot be beat in Paris, particularly for the price. We have stayed in Paris on several occasions, in a range of different properties (from Airbnbs to 5 star hotels that cost €1600 a night) and this has trumped them all. Value for money at this hotel is unbelievable. We frequent Paris (as my sister lives here) and we will be staying at Hotel Saint-Louis Marais every time going forward.

The hotel is in such a great location, Marais is full of authentic cafes and restaurants plus the museums and squares. The hotel was walking distance to Notre Dame, we had a lovely visit to Shakespeare and Co, the hotel is also walking distance to the Louvre but with the metro being just at the end of the street you can get to the Louvre in minutes. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was 10/10 can’t fault it. Lovely little boulangerie and cafe just a few steps away. Very helpful staff 24/7. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Hotel Saint-Louis again.

It's exactly what I pictured a typical old-world Parisian hotel to look like - stylish yet really quaint & cozy with the wooden ceiling beams giving the room such character & glass doors opening onto a quiet little cobbled street with a really antique looking streetlamp - so charming! Super comfortable beds, the room had lots of storage for clothes & had a minibar with very reasonable prices. Le Marais is the most magical place - so many cute bistros, bakeries & shops to visit, very close to two metro stations (within a 3 minute walk) and we felt really safe walking around the area at night. The staff at the front desk were so helpful and pleasant. Was a truly wonderful stay, highly recommend.

We enjoyed how convenient the location was in the Marais district. Walking in this historic part of town was a highlight and it was easy to walk to Oberkampf, Ile St Louis and nearby spots for other dining or activities. Our room was comfortable and quiet, except for occasional morning noise. The bathroom was newly refurbished. The bed was firm but we slept well. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was continental so pretty basic with bread, cereals and some fruit, plus a hard boiled egg. Salami was also provided but not to our taste. Room was small for the price of €285 per night B&B.

We loved our stay here! The location was brilliant. A little bit away from the touristy areas so it felt truly Parisian. It was very close to several metro stations so it was super easy to access all the tourist things we wanted to do. It was also quiet here. The staff were super accommodating to our requests and were very friendly. The room itself was a not spacious but that is to be expected in Paris and was comfortable enough with a large bed. The shower was also by far the best we've had after 2 months in Europe. We will stay here again when we come to Paris.

The room was a little stuffy and keeping the window open at night was too noisy. This was ok as it was winter but not sure it'd be comfortable in summer although there was an air-conditioning unit which we did not use.

Great stay we had! Hotel is well located, near by a minimarket and a metro station. Staff were very friendly and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was also great, within a goos range. The building is old, but at the same time there wasn't any kind of noise. The surrounding area is a topical place where people live and you can feel yiu belong there. Also: the entire building is always clean. Yes I would consider a return next time!

Small points like leaving the key at the hotel in the morning. I understand why, but maybe people feel "loosing" their privacy. However of course no problem has happened. Another point was th breakfast: there was one day we arrived 30min before the end, and there weren't any croassaints left.

The rooms were charming and the bathroom was very nice! The location is unbelievably quiet - we slept with our window open and there was no traffic noise until the morning (and it was minimal even then). The location is fantastic. This was our first time staying in the Marais district and we were very pleased at the walkability of the neighborhood. The Metro is very conveniently located as well. We used the hotel to book a car to/from the airport and it was outstanding (courteous, safe drivers and on-time service). We were happy that it had an elevator (except it doesn't go to the very top floor) - but they brought our luggage to the room which was greatly appreciated. We also appreciated the front desk worker's restaurant recommendation (Vins des Pyrenees) and that he made the reservation for us!

The top floor isn't accessible by elevator which is a little inconvenient for people who aren't comfortable with winding stairs. The second floor smelled a bit like people smoked there but no problem on floors 3 and 4.

Conveniently situated in the Marais near isle St Louis and Bastille, this hotel is in a 400 year old building, showing exposed beams and stone cellars (used for breakfast). Yet the room was comfortable, the bathroom spacious, and everything worked perfectly. The staff were friendly and helpful, continental breakfast simple but good, what more could one ask for?

The price was quite high, but I think this is now typical of Paris hotels of good quality, and no reflection on this one in particular. Otherwise, nothing.

This place was such a surprise. It felt more like a home than a hotel so I can only imagine that the owner is a really warm, hospitable person. There were so many details that made us feel welcome and totally relaxed. While we had to save on cost (a shared family room) there was a common area to use for eating and basic food prep. The 24 desk staff were so helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. And the best part, the place is small and intimate. It’s not a big, soulless hotel. Just lovely.
