The deluxe rooms in the annexe, the bar area, the staff, the rooftop pool and lounging area. Did I mention the staff? Great people. We parked in the nearby municipal car park for 7.5 euros overnight, 125 metres away from the hotel. Garage parking is available at the hotel for 12 euros per night but we overshot the hotel on our first pass, missing the garage entrance, leading us to discover the municipal car park.

Rooms 4-8 in the old part of the hotel suffer from excessive street noise and really shouldn’t be sold to anyone without significant hearing loss. We were assigned one of these rooms and had to move out to a modern room after one night without sleep. The staff dealt with it very professionally, I have nothing but praise for them and I have rated the hotel in line with our experience after moving rooms, if we had not been able to move rooms my rating would have been ‘Terrible’

What a little gem....a brilliant hotel in the heart of La Laguna and it's wonderful historic centre. The room was large, clean, and really comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent and a 3 course meal with bread, water and coffee was €19 a head. The hotel has a wonderful roof terrace that hosts a well equipped gym and a marvellous out door pool. The staff were brilliant - friendly and helpful.

Large room, very comfortable beds, nice facilities overall, super clean, stylish lobby and inner garden. Good location. We got surprisingly good price for what the hotel has to offer.

Air conditioning was not working, in direct sunlight the room was getting very warm. Gym only opens from 9am, there was opened and re-sealed again bottle of water in minibar

We were on 4 floor, on the roof, next to the pool and gym. There was a general feeling of untidiness, especially the astroturf on the terrace and the carpet leading to our room. There were some debris/papers next to the lift that remained throughout our 2-day stay. This was the most expensive place during our stay in Tenerife and did not seem worth it compared to other places where we stayed. The experience certainly did not match our expectations and would probably not stay again. Perhaps lower level rooms would feel more part of the hotel and less part of the service support areas.

Location of the hotel is perfect for the center of old La Laguna. We had an Executive room, these rooms are at the back of the hotel which is very quite as it is away from the road. (Although the view is poor.) The room was very attractive, all good quality furnishings. The entrance lobby area where the bar is is very nice with a number of palms and plants around a seating/ bar area, but it could be cleaner, the carpet was grubby and some of the cushions had seen better days. The staff we spoke to were all really friendly and made our stay enjoyable. We didn't eat in the hotel because there are so many other places to eat within easy walking. Pool looked nice on the roof terrace too but we didn't use it.

The carpeted hall way was very up and down, even in the new part of the hotel. Not at all sure why this couldn't be fixed - it really lets the lovely hotel down. Other than that is was a very comfortable modern hotel (there is an old side too) with lovely staff.

We were in Tenerife for a hospital appointment. Until we arrived at the hotel it had been a worrying week. Stress about the looming appointment, stress about the flight over as there were storms and strong winds. When we arrived, the receptionist couldn't have been more welcoming. She greeted us with a huge smile and was so lovely. She informed us that we had been given an upgrade to our room, and would now be staying in their best room, the royal suite. When we arrived at the huge door to our room, it felt like we were going in to the great hall at Hogwarts. The room was nothing less than spectacular. Incredibly beautiful, high wooden ceilings, spacious and abseloutey spotless. The huge double bed was quite possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, although it did make it difficult to get up the next morning for the hospital appointment. We just wanted to stay in there. The bathroom was very luxurious. Huge bath tub to relax in, piping hot water, really lovely smelling soaps and creams to use, as well as the complimentary dental kits and various other necessities. The bath and bed were the highlights of my stay in the suite. There were bottles of water in the mini fridge, a coffee pod machine, a kettle and all the things needed to make a drink, which was great as our appointment meant we would miss breakfast. When we had checked in, we had asked the lovely receptionist if she could book a taxi early for us to get to the hospital on time. When she realised we'd miss our breakfast, she told us she'd organise something for us to take with us in the morning. The two picnic bags were amazing. Delicious sandwiches, cakes, biscuits, fruit, juices, water, yoghurt muslie.. it kept us going all throughout our day until we flew back to La Palma that afternoon. The hotel facilities looked lovely. We had a wander around to look at the pool and jacuzzi area. Spotless and lovely views from up the top there.

There is nothing we didn't like about the hotel. It was all perfect.

Beautiful hotel nicely decorated with amazing food in their Asian restaurant Malalka, the open space in the entrance hall very cosy and loungy made it very inviting to hang out for a drink, large rooms comfortable bed, nice gym, the location was great in old town which was so convenient for a night out.

We expected a double bed but got twin beds😕management didn’t have any available so they changed our bed sheets to one full sheet. The pool water was rather cold so we didn’t use it since it’s very windy around January.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The common areas (in particular the lobby) are really beautiful and well organised. We needed to come home early and there management were gracious. The breakfast is good and the location is excellent.

After our first night, we asked to be moved because the noise was awful. I cannot imagine that anyone would find rooms 4, 5 or 6 comfortable on evenings the bar is open as they are directly above it with no soundproofing and look directly out onto a road where the traffic starts at 6am.

The opulent furnishings throughout this hotel, the roof top pool and jacuzzi with breathtaking views of La Laguna and the mountains were fantastic. The staff were lovely, the room size was great and spotlessly clean. The beds were really comfortable, even the sofa bed, so had a great nights sleep. We had breakfast included and it was buffet style with plenty of choice. We also had dinner one night and had the 'menu of the day'. We really enjoyed all the courses. The amount of plants in this hotel is amazing, it felt very tropical and luxurious. Will definitely be back in future.

We enjoyed everything.

- Excellent buffet breakfast with fresh orange juice, good coffee and local food like cheese, ham or cakes, although it was the same every day. - Dinner a la carte, few options to choose from, different every day - amazing croquettes and tataki tuna. Very good, but portions could be a bit bigger. - Nice swimming pool on the roof with long opening hours, unfortunately in January the water was rather cold, but still it was possible to take a quick private swim as the pool was almost always empty. - Free safe in a room.
