I recently stayed at a hotel that exceeded all my expectations. The location was excellent – situated right in the heart of the city, within walking distance to major attractions and public transport hubs. This made it easy to explore the city and get around effortlessly. The breakfast was truly impressive. There was a wide selection of fresh and delicious options to satisfy various tastes. I particularly enjoyed the freshly baked bread and local specialties, which provided a perfect start to the day. The staff deserves special praise. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. They went out of their way to ensure that my stay was pleasant and that all my needs were promptly and efficiently met. Overall, my hotel stay was an excellent experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation in a great location with outstanding service. I will definitely return here the next time I visit the city.

The only minor downside was that the rooftop terrace was not yet open during my visit.

We stayed for 4 nights, and we loved everything about this hotel. We’d read some reviews that mentioned the sketchy neighborhood. Take those reviews with a big grain of salt. It’s not sketchy. It’s just Athens. It’s centrally located but not in the center of all the super touristy stuff. It’s close to the metro, an easy trip to the Acropolis and all the sites. It’s a quick walk to several awesome restaurants, wine bars, and cocktail bars. Not touristy spots. We avoid those. The room was perfect. Comfortable bed. Super clean. The shower was insanely awesome. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. The bar on the 8th floor is outstanding. They make seriously good cocktails. And the breakfast in that same room is excellent. We highly recommend this hotel.

From the spacious brand new super clean room , to delicious breakfast, location and most of all , ALL THE EMPLOYEES ❤️ of all European countries we've explored , they definitely have the best people. Their hospitality is top notch . From the lobby people, front dest , server and the house keeping. Everyone just so nice and accommodating ....

Since it's in a busy street , it gets loud at night even if the windows are close . But it don't bother us too much since we were all tired after a long day...

We loved everything about this hotel since the moment you walk in. The place , the location , the facilities , the room !! But most importantly we loved the most was the warmth , the hospitality and the kindness from all the staff working at this hotel , Georgina from the front desk was extremely nice ! And the staff from the restaurant (specially the breakfast staff ) were all great people! .. we travel the world a lot and this time in this particular hotel we felt well taken care of since a long time … love our stay here !!

I've been in Athens four times ane Luwian is the best place I stayed in. It's beautiful,very comfortable. The bed was great, the shower red hot. The hotel is full of class touches, like the welcome screen on the TV when you walk in.

The room i was in was marginally small, but this is the boutique thing.

The facilities were really good. The room was very homey, they have all the stuffs you need and always get water refilled everyday. They kept the room very clean, the bed and the pillows were comfortable. And the shower have comfortable strong flow. The location is perfect, less than 5 minutes to metro station. It’s in the less tourist area however still in walking distance to most of the attractions places. The staffs were friendly and helpful, especially Fotis the bellman. He always made time to have a nice chat with us and greet us with his big smile everyday. Many reviews mentioned about the environment about the hotel location/area, however during our 8 days stays there were no problem at all. The people we had met on the way were friendly and polite.

Brand new hotel with the newest technologies used (automated lights (no need to insert the key card), modern key card (be careful at 11:00 (check-out time) the key cannot be used anymore, if you got out with part of your baggage and return couple of minutes after 11:00 to take the rest of the staff, the key does not work any more, ask reception to reactivate (it happened to us but it was super easy solved). 20 walk to main archeological sites, including Acropolis foothill (you can actually see Acropolis from the 8th floor where you have breakfast), 20 minutes walk to the National Archeological Museum, hotel is just next to Omonias square. Comfortable beds. Very clean AC Room is very well noise isolated though it is situated on a very busy street. Iron and iron table, safety box, hairdryer, small fridge (not freezer), slippers, bathrobes, 3 types of towels. We got a complimentary 500 ml mineral water per person, after 3 nights they put one more bottle per person. Complimentary bottle of wine Tea, coffee, sugar, milk for coffee (refilled every day) Very tasty breakfast with a lot of options. We got a 20% discount to use once at the restaurant or at the bar.

The staff are very nice and caring. Consider this, we checked in, went up to our room, and 2 minutes later they called us from the main desk to ensure that everything was set up to our needs and to our liking, we loved that little interaction. The rooms are all brand new and very spacious, with a very modern and clean design. The breakfast was very tasty with a wide selection and a welcome waiting crew. Beds and showers were excellent as well.

The surrounding neighbourhoods are not the best, and not fun to talk around at night, but I never felt unsafe.

The quality of the hotel far exceeds the quality of the immediate vicinity although once in Onomani Sq. it improves. The shortest walk to the attractions is ok but the longer walk via the university buildings is more attractive. Although some local streets are a bit down at heel it is possible to navigate around them with little difficulty

During our recent stay at Luwian, we experienced top-notch service that truly went above and beyond. Upon arrival, we encountered a troubling situation with a taxi driver who tried to scam us. Thankfully, the amazing Lemonia at the hotel quickly intervened, even though the situation was unsettling for her as well. Her quick thinking and courage in helping us avoid the scam were impressive, and we felt so relieved to have someone so caring and professional on our side. The entire staff at Luwian was fantastic, and their exceptional service made our stay comfortable and memorable. We highly recommend Luwian not just for the great accommodations, but for the incredible staff who genuinely care about their guests. We'll definitely be returning in the future!
