Hostal Yoha was our first accommodation after arriving to Panama. We were tired and jet-lagged after 36 hours of travelling. Owner met us showed everything around and we stayed there 3 days more thank we were planned. Everything was exceptional! Tried both private and dorm rooms. Private ones are small but cosy. Dorm has two WC/Showers so you do not have to wait if one is occupied. Additionally there is couple more in common areas. Check in/checkout process is easy. Rooms and other areas are clean and spacious. The pool feels like heaven in the hot days, so refreshing. For breakfast you can choose between waffles and pancakes with various of syrups, coffee/tea (coffee is really good), and they also bring you a plate of. different fruits! Also they have huge fridges for the food you buy outside, ant just next to the hostel there is a convenient shop where you can buy food, drinks, sim cards. And finally about stuff, In my long travel history I probably haven't met nicer people. We were searching for the car to buy and our Spanish isn't pretty good, so everyone who works here helped as A LOT with communication, directions, advises. It is way more than you should get as booking a room. Thank you!

Everything was perfect.

A nice hostel in a nice area with all necessary facilities. The staff is really nice, the wifi works good enough, daily breakfast is offered. There's a pool and it's within walking distance to public transport and a restaurants. There's also a mini store next to it with all the basics. Laundry service and tours are on offer

There was minor issues with the A/C, but that got fixed very quick. The breakfast could have more variety.

Very good location (good neighborhood, close to public transport, however you can also walk to the oldtown by the sea). Very nice terrace with the pool and the surroundings. There is a kitchen and a fridge which is very convenient. The breakfast included is tasty. I am satisfied with the WiFi, that was enough to make video call. Nice and spatious shower. The owner was nice and agreed to wait for us to checkin for a bit longer than their workhours are. Overall, very convenient and nice hostel.

Things are quite weary, however it is what you can expect from hostels in this price range. The printing service was too expensive (1USD per sheet).

Good breakfast, good WiFi, good food good location. The pool area is an oasis in the middle of a city, complete with a hummingbirds!

Misleading heading. This is a hostel. If you go to bed early, ask for room away from pool area as you can hear people talking late into the night.

Exellent location. I sttod here twice, on my way to Bocas and back. Very polite and helpful stuff., let me check in earlier or you can stay at the pool as long as you need. Very quet place. But keep in mind if you are staying here on weekends, it could be a party at the pool till 6 pm. AC very nice to have. I visited Panama at low season in July, so not many people at hotel at all. On my way in I had a large extra comort room but with shared bathroom and had the bathroom for myself, second time it was smaller room not as large little bit lower price with widow to backyard, which impossible to see, that room was perfect for one, and again no one shared bathroom with me. Bring your towell! Otherwise you have to pay extra.

The pool was great, it was fairly quiet so we could cook and play in the pool without feeling crowded. The location was central, the room comfortable and gad storage space (and Netflix) and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

The check-in process was very long compared to what we are used to, possibly due to confusion over our booking, and we were expecting breakfast through the Booking Genius scheme but we didn't get this (maybe Booking's fault rather than the hotel's, i'm not sure). The location is central but Panama City has lots of cars so it was quite noisy outside.

Friendly and corect staff, some speak english. Top area and infrastructure in the hostal. Some corners need a renovation. Its not a 5 star hotel but you probable get the best for it price. Good internet, kitchen and pool. I stayed 5 nights in 4 differenr rooms. The prices of the service and drinks are fair. No mosquitos. Bed are comfortable. I would definitly stay there again.

Nothing to complain for this price. Charching 5% by paying with creditcard. But its ok since its to see only as an option

Location its very convenient în a safe area walking distance from the metro or sea side. . The staff very kind, the room and bathroom clean, a simple breakfast included but its nice, you can order more and pay. As well they cook tasty lunch for few Dollars. Also easy to meet other travellers în The garden by the pool. highly recommend this hostel

Difficult to find due to name on booking.com different from name on door. Better directions needed on website. Say what it is next too.

Nice comfortable and clean air conditioned rooms. Relatively quiet location for being in city center. The pool is a bonus being hot and humid. Enjoyed the morning breakfast with the standard and two other options at a fair price. Surrounded with conveniences.

Bathroom was clean but dated although serviceable. Price point was higher than other single room hostels that I’ve been to that were similar.
