Hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is a large conference style property and this is reflected in the style and size but given the price paid for the room, I have no complaints about that. Room was very comfortable but a little basic apart from the bathroom which was very well appointed. Despite having a couple of events at the hotel when we stayed, the room was very quiet and no noise was heard form other guests.

Breakfast was a little impersonal and basic but had a reasonable choice. The restaurant was also rather basic and befitting of a large conference style venue. However, the breakfast experience was adequate.

Always excellent room, friendly and professional service, car parking, cleanliness!

Unfortunately I have to say that the food lets down the otherwise wonderful hotel! The restaurant menu is somewhat limited and the dishes are not what we have experienced previously at the GJH! My wife had bass fillet which was tiny, clearly a 'supermarket', farmed fish, probably from Turkey, which is strange when so much better quality fish is available. My 'panco' crusted haddock was - just edible, certainly not enjoyable. The breakfast was poor, which is such a shame given the overall excellence of the hotel in general. Is it so much to ask for warm plates, warm food? Apart from serials etc. The breakfasts should be waitress ordered and served!

So handy for visiting the hospital which was the reason I stayed there. Breakfasts were good and meal I had in the restaurant was also good.

The fridge in the room was pretty pointless as water was colder out of the tap. I informed staff at the desk that my fridge wasn't working but was told it wasn't a fridge but a "cooler" and wouldn't chill drinks very much. I wanted to cool drinks but also store food like sandwiches, cold meats etc but didnt' feel it would be safe to do so. The first couple of nights were unbearably hot in the room but a kind maid said she would get a fan for the room - which she did. What a relief to be able to use that. The air con was on all the time but didn't seem to do much.

A lot of space at reception, bar, canteen, coffee shop, big car park. Super close to the hospital which was handy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean everywhere. Good bathroom with great shower. Bed is big and comfortable . Room is eel equipped: Fridge, Kettle and cups. Ironing board with iron. Hairdryer.

I paid for breakfast (£12) and got disappointed . it’s not worth it. Omelette felt as if it was made from powder, not real eggs. I do not eat read meat - there were no vegetarian sausages, no hush brows, but very dry over fried potato scones. No fresh pastry - all from supermarket. My opinion it’s overpriced for what you get. If you come in the morning or during the day - car park is full. I found the ventilation in the room a bit noisy. And you cannot turn it off as it’s central .

The man who checked us in was very nice and polite. Location is excellent with the train station only 10 min walk away. Hotel is lovely and our room was mostly nice. Nearly all the staff were very nice. It is excellent being attached to the hospital for visiting.

Asked the young lady at reception a question and got a very abrupt couldn't be bothered attitude which was very unlike all the other staff at the hotel. Last night there, put on our tv, which we hadn't bothered with before, and it didn't work. We didn't call housekeeping as it was 9.15pm. Also the heating in the room. A note of how it works in the room would have been good.

We stayed here to be close to the aiport, it was an off the cuff decision after reading some awful reviews of the place where we originally planned to stay. It was a good decision!! This place is massive and very busy, quite reminiscent of resort hotels. It's a conference centre hotel which is attached to the hospital next door. NHS. Our room was huge ("Deluxe Twin"). The facilities were top notch and the shower quite possibly the best I've ever had. The towels were large, thick and fluffy. The staff were friendly and professional. The restaurant. Reading previous reviews, the food got a mixed bunch of opinions but our experience was that the evening meal was delicious. Good quality food and well cooked. Breakfast in our opinion was excellent. The entire thing was set out in a help yourself buffet so the cooked part was kept warm in covered hot plate things, perhaps not as much choice here. The rest, cerials, pastries, and fruit was plentiful and varied.

Not much not to like here. Being petty I'd suggest arriving promptly to secure a parking space. The car park is large but so are the number of guests.

Hotel was easy to find with lots of parking available, check in was quick & easy.. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom& good shower. Room service was good, main meal and breakfast the following morning were both enjoyable. Staff were friendly. Check out was simple.

A window latch was broken so the window didn’t fully shut not a big issue just let a little noise in from outside including a noisy fan somewhere? Not a dealbreaker once asleep we slept really well so didn’t effect overall stay. Tv channels were minimal and couldn’t get smart tv to work (maybe user error?) again not a deal breaker but would have been good to have a better selection . Both minor details, didn’t affect the pleasant stay. Would happily book again

The breakfast hall is more like a conference type arrangement than an intermate setting - food was ok but had better - The onsite evening restaurant was a blessing, as not much open when we arrived in this location aswell it was opened quite late Plenty of free parking unless there is a conference on and the carpark fills up in the morning but clears out by evening

The hotel is connected to the hospital so you will have a mix of guests and hospital patrons at the restaurant. Also as they hold conferences hear you may get a large noisy crowed as we did in the restaurants. Remote location more of an industrial part of town - need a car to get about We traveled for over two months, and this stay was the only place we had trouble with Google maps finding the address - we finally worked out it was part of the hospital, not mentioned on Booking.com

The room was very comfortable. The bed was wonderful. The bathroom was fairly large. We had breakfast included and it was really good with lots of options. We stayed one night and were flying out the next morning. The motorway ended up being closed for some reason and so it took us longer to get to the airport. But no problems getting there. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel. There were a few places to eat that were kind of close to the hotel, but the food wasn't fabulous. So plan where you will eat before you get to the hotel.

Can't think of anything.

We booked an extra day here because of a bad experience elsewhere. The hotel put our two reservations together seamlessly, and everything only went uphill from that excellent start. The reception staff were really great, friendly and so helpful. The rooms were large, bright and super clean. The shower was definitely one of the best ever. Breakfast was also very good with first class service and a buffet choice that left nothing else to be asked for. The hotel is annexed to the hospital so clearly many of its visitors are staying for sadder reasons than we were, but it was a wonderful place to stay and with a lot of parking available and a great location it is definitely going to be our Glasgow hotel for the future.
