Rafael, recepcionist was amazing! Full of knowledge, information and willingness to help. I was truly enjoying talking to him and getting to know him. Wonderful person! Boy working on remodeling (it is really necessary), was great as well. Both are hard working people who know how to do there job well! In short, staff you have is excellent! Bed was comfortable, even though room was tiny. It's basically room to sleep in only and spend time out...easy to do, since location is just perfect!

It is an old building, so, much needed renovation is necessary and it's good to see that they are working on it. Some rooms (remodeled ones) look fresh, but old ones, even though that they are small in size, can look much better. What bothered me the most were stains on the sheet, so I used bed cover on top of the sheet to feel more comfortable. All in all, great stay thanks to Rafael, with room for improvement when it comes to cleanliness and room appearance.

Clean room, everything provided as booked, cute balcony, friendly staff (the lady at check in / available with a sincere smile at all times, the man that carried a replacement fridge to our room and brought charm the entire stay and the housekeeping ladies), room as described / photos, coffee machine, fresh fluffy towels and the location is amazing! The roof top was our favorite coffee / breakfast spot and will soon be opened up for BBQ and drinks (unfortunately we missed it).

The location was super, it was just in the middle of old town. The breakfast was not included, but for this price for the night it was normal without breakfast. The personal was very friendly. The beach was very close ( about 400 m).

Amazing location close to the beach and bus stops. lots of small beautiful streets. As a hostel the room a good quality.

I would change towels and clean the floors at least every 2 days. you could ask for towels of course but it should be as a standard.

The best impression I had was from the man who take care of this hostel. He is very friendly and kind. He helped me fix the air conditioner and gave me an extra blanket and also helped me with transporting my heavy luggage up. Very funny and smiling person🔅

The Monkey Room is a very awesome hostel in the heart of the Costa del Sol Spain. It offers great accommodations with 10 private rooms, 3 apartments. Reception is open from noon to 8 PM daily. Miguel is a great receptionist, the staff work hard to keep guests very happy during their stay. Agueda is a great housekeeper. The rooftop terrace is very cozy, intimate for nights with your partner, friends or even solo for a relaxing experience. The Monkey Room is a very awesome place to stay located in the Old Town of Marbella! Miguel, Agueda give you a very hospitable stay. They work hard to assure you as the guest is valued, you are comfortable while on holiday here. I highly recommend that you stay here. There are economy, standard, deluxe double rooms offers, and very nice apartments with a living room, kitchen, ensuite bathroom, standard bedroom with double beds. The hostel has a very nice rooftop terrace for sunbathing, and eating, even hanging out with other guests. Luggage storage is available before, after your stay. Maps, information offered by Miguel in reception between 1500 - 2000 hours. The lobby offers relaxing music, nice comfy sofa chairs during your stay also.
