Stayed here more than once, it can't be beaten for value and position. If you need a place to sleep, feed yourself and get back on the road easily, then this is as good as you can get for the money. Good sized rooms with own toilet and shower, two single beds, kettle with mugs, teas etc provided, wifi (20-30mbs), TV, microwave, fridge freezer (3/4 sized, more than sufficient), towels and soaps provided, clean and comfortable for a few nights stay. Free pavement parking out front and excellent, friendly and helpful staff when encountered. NB: As per the advert, there is no breakfast provided - you have a kettle, fridge and microwave instead. It is to the side of the town, so you will hear the occasional vehicle in the distance, but it is short lived and unobtrusive.

It is everything I've needed it for, zero complaints and will happily book again when needed.

Excellent value twin rooms (2 single beds) with a microwave and 3/4 size fridge freezer. Clean and well equipped with friendly staff. Great location just off to the side of the town, with shops and public transport just a stones throw away. Pavement parking out front, no issues. Great stopping point for self catering en route to other areas in Wales. Not the Ritz, yet still excellent value compared to any other place in this price range.

Some rooms can be a little noisy at times (not all the time) - this isn't the fault of the hotel though. It is only because of inconsiderate guests that walk like godzilla and don't know how to close a door without slamming it.

We didn't have a breakfast there, so went out for food which was fine. We did our own thing in our room which was nice, having our own cereals and porridge. It was nice to be able to do our own meals sometimes as it saved on costs of food going out. Nice to mix and match. Great there was a microwave and fridge there and all nice and clean! It was a lovely big room with lots of space to move around and keep our things. And really handy space savers with the big closet to put your things in. There was a telly in the room so nice to able to just chill and watch telly in bed! There were plenty of shops nearby if you needed anything or had forgotten anything. The shop staff were very welcoming too. We would come again.

The room was clean and tidy. Had an ensuite, a fridge and a microwave. Was very good value for money and we weren't bothered by anyone. There was a common room that provided crockery and cutlery for our take aways, which staff washed for us when we were finished. Close by to the local town and facilities. Next door is a family that look after guests when the owner isn't around. And they were very friendly.

Unfortunately there was no iron in the room. And the room that looks like a bar in the photos and is labelled a bar outside the building is a common room and dining area. But those are my only 2 bugbears. We had a great stay!

The vibes was homely and comfortable. The facilities are just great for the money you pay for, they have a fridge and even a microwave! The hotel was incrediblly clean and spacious.

Nothing really, the heating is turned off at night so we had to use a plug in radiator which is fine but I wanted to dry an item of clothing on the actual radiator, not their fault that I got my clothes wet in the bathroom by accident tho! Also no hair dryer, I forgot mine!!

So much facilities in room. Water was hot constantly. Fridge freezer, microwave all on offer to use. Alot of facilities for price of room

WiFi was only working downstairs in reception area. Mattress spring sticking out so needs an upgrade as well used. No eating facilities in hotel. Difficult to get hold of owner to gain access to property as no full time staff member on site Neighbours kindly let you in but if they weren't about, not sure how you would get in

It’s a little hidden gem if you want to stay in Ebbw Vale! It’s close to the centre but quiet enough away. It was really homely, beds were super comfy, room was warm and cosy and just had a great vibe! It’s not a fancy, overpriced chain hotel and I liked that. It feels comfortable and for the fantastic price it was just perfect! The couple running it were pleasant and parking right outside.

THE facilities were good fridge small freezer and microwave available plus tea and coffee. Small bar available but only small selection of canned drinks but nice social area to chat and meet other guests. Originally from local area was a good place to base myself to visit family. Very quiet,short distance to the town centre .

Good value for money! Location! Microwave and fridge were very useful! Car parking! Very nice gentleman introducing to the property!

You can hear the noise from adjacent room. Bug noise when toilet flushes! Getting into car park was difficult as people would park right there.

The hotel is great, the staff member who greeted us was very friendly. Fridge/freezer in the room along with kettle, plenty of tea/coffee available if wanted and Biscoff biscuits too! Location was just across the bridge from town, walk to town centre was easily less than 10mins. The bar is no longer in use, so no noise issues to worry about.

The car parking with space for 6 or so cars was on the large pavement frontage, although there was a large car park about 50m up the road. The route through the hotel isn't great due to the bar no longer being in use, but its still clean and tidy so fine for most travellers.
