This is one of the best hotels to stay in when visiting tangier, I visited with my wife and baby, and we were treated exceptionally from the time the booking was made all throughout our stay. We were given a WhatsApp number to speak to Eya for any queries when I made the booking, she was extremely helpful and answered any questions, and booked us a free pickup from the airport. We had a free upgrade and were given a massive room with sea view, and a cot was already prepared for us when we came. The breakfast was the best I have ever seen, buffet with many many delicious items. The cleaners were very good as well, and cleaned the room everyday to a very good standard. And the location and view was just 👌 10/10 stay would definitely recommend!

Not much to put here - it says the hotel is closed on Apple Maps - should be corrected because we didn’t know if this was a genuine hotel or not because of that. We also received a spam message asking for credit card details from the hotel via booking.com which made things more dubious. But once we arrived at the hotel all worries were relieved - this place absolutely exists and is wonderful!

Times are different, breakfast was different. Still excellent, but there were more options and variations day to day than now. My family felt very secure when they were in visual distance from the entrance of the hotel. The hotel concierge staff was very vigilant of guests arriving and departing from the hotel. The manager Mr. Amine Berrada and his engineers transformed the attached restaraunts into an unbelievable nice restaurant with about 80 hours of non stop work. What was also pretty amazing is that my room was almost directly above and I could never hear the work being done. They had an awesome New Year’s Eve party in the new restaurant.

Not the hotel’s fault, but it sounded like people were drag racing in front of the hotel at 4 to 6am. I was spoiled by many of the staff during previous visits. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of turnover since December 2023.

While my stay at the hotel was generally fine, I must say the breakfast was quite disappointing, especially considering the price paid. The offering was modest at best, with a limited selection of items that felt uninspired and basic. There was nothing particularly bad about the food, but it lacked variety. A few pastries, some cereal, and standard coffee hardly make for a memorable or satisfying start to the day. Fresh fruit and healthier options were sparse, and there was little effort to elevate the experience beyond the bare minimum. For the price, I expected more effort and attention to detail. If breakfast is important to you, you may want to look elsewhere or consider dining outside the hotel. It wasn’t terrible, but it fell far short of expectations.

Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space in the room and bathroom. Beautiful views either of the marina or the very picturesque pool. Great food and drinks, including alcohol options which is hard to find in Tangier. The manager personally greeted us and gave us his contact information if we needed anything. Staff helped us flag a cab and told us the price so we didn’t have to worry about the language barrier. Good location very close to old town / Medina.

Not a negative, but something to be aware of: the shower shares a window into the room so you can see from the window waist up if you’re on the bed and if you turn on the light in the bathroom in the middle of the night it shines into the bedroom. Didn’t impact me or my husband but something others may want to be aware of.

My recent stay at Marina Bay City Center Hotel was absolutely delightful. From the moment I arrived, the staff (Chaymal and her manager Amine Berrada) made me feel welcomed and valued. A special highlight of my stay was the surprise upgrade to a marina view room, which was a wonderful gesture and truly enhanced my experience. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. Waking up to the stunning view of the marina each morning was a treat, and it made my time there even more memorable. The service throughout my stay was impeccable. The team at Marina Bay City Center went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Their warm hospitality and attentiveness were evident in every interaction. I would highly recommend Marina Bay City Center Hotel to anyone visiting Tanger. I look forward to returning in the future and enjoying another fantastic experience at this wonderful hotel. Our 5 night stay at the hotel was excellant. Everything about the hotel was very good. The location is very nice, opposite the Marina bay/beach. The staff are very polite, friendly & helpful. Some spoke English which helped us greatly when we asked for advice about travelling locally, special thank you to Shaima on Reception desk & also to Talab Ali Laila. The room was very spacious & clean & daily room cleaning service was provided. The breakfast was very nice with a good variety to suit. When we asked about getting a taxi to the airport for our return, Shaima very kindly arranged the booking. I would highly recommend the hotel & would stay again.

There was nothing that we didn't like. Everything at Marina bay was excellent.

The hotel was good and in a very good location that it’s in front of the marina bay and close to madina. My friend and I enjoyed our stay very much. The room was clean and very spacious. We got a room with a view on the marina which was awesome. The staff is super friendly and always willing to support. They gave us a lot of helpful tips and were flexible enough to amend our booking from 4 nights to 3 nights. They were also generous enough to give us a third bed for one night when another friend joined and they didn’t ask us for extra charge. I highly recommend Marina Bay Hotel and would definitely stay in the same place next time I visit Tanger.

The toilet was leaking but they fixed it immediately.

Very lovely staff and very polite. The hotel room was massive and much more comfortable than many hotels we stayed in the past. Shower was nice especially the hand held shower facility. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and very delicious! I loved every option in there. There was water/fruit in the room included and the kettle/fridge was a big bonus. The bed/pillows/tv and everything in the room exceeded our expectations.

The photos advertised show it in such a way that one may mistaken it for like a resort. Its not opposite the beach. The beach is about a 10-15 min walk and the pool is not used on a regular especially in the colder seasons. One of the main reasons for me to choose this hotel was for the pool but it wasn't very well maintained and plants/leaves were dropping from around it.

I’ve stayed in this hotel several times already. Must say , Mr Miloud (at reception) did an excellent job for the last 2 times I was there and for this reason I want to say a big thank to Mr Miloud because it’s this type of service that makes me feel good and return to book the same hotel over again! Well done Mr Miloud- big thank you again. I got few different rooms and all were good but the big suite is the real deal!!! Cleaning, Comfort was good. Bruno Portugal

It’s outside hotel’s control and depending of the room location, some idiots spent the night racing on the road next to the hotel, making a lot of noise with their stupid xunning cars or motos - that was very annoying!

The location of the hotel (near the marina) is great. The corniche is opposite of the road. The hotel reception staff was great and customer orientated. They advised us on "places to visit". The hotel room was spacious and clean. Comfortable sofa and the bed was nice. Bathroom was spacious as well, with a proper flow of water. Temperature in the room was comfortable. Breakfast was standard with fresh bread, fresh orange juice & various hot dishes. Great view of te Marina Bay. Staff was nice and kept a close eye on the buffet. Refilling of items was continuously. Cleaners did a nice job with cleaning the room. Friendly staff.

The swimming pool was closed. Would have appreciated it if this was mentioned in advance. Was hoping to go for a swim. Further I missed complementary slippers, water etc.
