We only booked because we needed a place to sleep before taking friends to the airport at a very early hour. We booked because it was the most reasonable rates in the height of tourist season and a good location to the airport. We were extremely surprised to discover we booked such a lovely place in a quiet setting. Even more so, one of our r rooms was upgraded to an exquisite 4 poster bedroom with kitchenette! The other room was very small, but it was very clean, cosy and comfortable and fir the few hours sleep we got, it was perfect. We've made a note to ourselves that we will always look to book there whenever friends/family come to stay. We live a few hours away, so it's ideal for those early flights. It's a hidden gem!

Our only suggestion is for the blinds to be checked, some need replacing. Also, it wasn't clear how to get the heating on and the rooms were cold. Once we sussed the thermostats the rooms heated quickly.

The bed was very comfortable and the room furnished beautifully. Nice to have a small kettle, fridge, tea and coffee supplies. Easy to get inside with code given.

The renovations haven't quite finished, missing door handle covers, carpet in the corner different (a large patch from removing a wardrobe?) dusty under the bed and bathroom silicon mouldy. The outside of the house looks almost derelict but once inside much better and the rooms lovely. Access to a fridge and microwave would be good given you're a ten minute drive from any restaurants or cafes and no breakfast is provided.

Small and very peaceful and the feel of a real home. Very well supplied with tea/ coffee and bottles of water. Spotlessly clean , a good walk in shower( maybe provide a mat though as a bit slippery), and two comfy chairs and a table in room.

My only problems were the bed was extremely high so as someone with mobility issues I found it hard to get on and off! It was also very hot on arrival so we had windows wide open . I also suggest a rubber mat for shower as slippery. Also no breakfast so had to go to Asda to eat something before taking medication etc.

The room was spacious and cosy, the bed was large ans comfortable. It was nice to have a table & chairs in the room. Lovely location - far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city, but a short car drive away from everything you might need. The grounds are doned with amenities to enjoy the outside, whether it is eating, having a drink, or reading a book.

The room was too hot and we couldn't turn off or decrease the heating. It did turn off by itself sometimes during the evening, but the room was steaming. The shower stream was a bit poor too.

There are no staff. You let yourself into your room with a scan and key. The room was very clean and comfortable with a great view. The grounds around the house were beautiful. Hood bathroom and facilities.

The room was far too hot, we opened the windows, and still had to sleep on top of the covers. Hardly any sleep due to the heat. The weather had been 20c and sunny, the evening weather wasn't hot.

Loved the location, the room, the bathroom and decking area. The bed gave us a wonderful night's sleep.

We were disappointed not to get a breakfast, especially considering the price we paid for our 2 night stay. I had specifically booked because, at the time, I was under the impression we were going to get breakfast.

After reading many bad reviews about Drumdevan House, I must admit I was a bit worried. The place was actually very nice: the room was spacious, clean, with a fridge and complimentary water and biscuits. Instructions to check-in were very simple and accurate. Connecting to Wi-Fi was super easy. No complaints from me! Also, my partner has a dog and the room had a door with garden access. Cannot fault the place.

The accomodation is excellent. Nice and quaint with no limited check in time- self serve system is a great method. Place is also clean and tidy and also comes with a low temp mini fridge. Excellent initiative for being pet friendly!

Towels have a musky smell, could do with better providers. Although a microwave maybe slightly cheeky to ask for - it would be a great perk to even have a facility to heat some food for communal use? Just s thought.

Bed was very comfortable. Staff were responsive when text with room issues. We had a good night's sleep despite the few issues we ran into.

Not getting my £100 security deposit back despite leaving the room exactly as it was found. Someone else was in our room when we arrived and we had to find another room ourselves. Unstaffed hotel - a little unsettling.

Spacious room and bathroom. Beautiful surroundings and walks. Comfortable and relaxing . Would be happy to stay again,as regular visitors to the area.

Kettle switch is faulty,so have to hold it on to boil it. Shower head loose and needs tightening. A few minor dust issues. Would like to stay again, but couldn't access seasonal offers online when tried.
