Good position near casino and restaurants. Parking was easy. Unit was very clean. A/C in lounge and Bedroom.

Small things, but the shower rose leaked considerably, the remote for the fan in the bedroom had no back so the batteries constantly fell out, one of the recliners in the lounge wouldn’t recline. There’s an interesting note to guests that says to run the A/C at no less than 20 degrees to reduce risk of freezing up the compressor. A/C units wouldn’t let you go below 20 deg if that was such a risk, I think they’re trying to lower their power bill.

The location is amazing, close to beach, shops and other amenities. The apartment we had was beautiful and spacious and very comfortable. The owners have obviously had thought into creating a home away from home environment. The secure car parking was also very convenient being in a busy area.

We loved everything about the actual apartment. But in the main complex some of the carpets in the common areas smelt musty. We were on level 6 of 9, and you can hear the hustle and bustle of the restaurants and streets below. This is expected being amongst it all. Most nights this didn’t bother us and we closed the doors which blocked out most of the noise.

The apartment was nicely furnished and the resort's location is an important factor in having an enjoyable stay. The property appeals to relaxed and active guests alike with an indoor and outdoor pool and a fitness centre. The two air-conditioners kept the outside temperature and humidity at bay.

One of the curtains in the bedroom only closed halfway but I use an eyemask anyway so this wasn't a problem for me.

The apartments in The Phoenician, managed by Broadbeach Holiday Apartments, are all privately owned so their configuration and quality is probably variable. We had probably the best apartment in Building 2, apartment 2909, a duel key apartment on the top ninth floor. As a duel key unit it has two separate apartments with a small, private entrance foyer, ideal for either a large family or to be shared by two families. We booked the main apartment which was very spacious, nicely appointed and furnished. The main room was very comfortable and comprised a kitchen, dining and lounge area, with the latter having two large sofas and a mega-sized TV (Netflix provided.) There was a small laundry at the rear with a separate washing machine and dryer. The kitchen was very functional with all the electrical appliances you might need during your stay. The bedroom was again quite spacious with a large comfortable bed. Whilst the bathroom was a bit small, it worked well and the water was hot and towels were thick. There was a large balcony with sea views and what seemed like perpetual cooling breezes. The N-E aspect was perfect and overlooked a park and a very nocturnal scenic roundabout. The street below is full of bars and restaurants and Haveli Authentic Indian Cuisine, directly opposite is highly recommended. So with only a 200M walk to the beach and esplanade, there is nothing to fault, hence HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Location was excellent. There must be 30 or 40 restaurants, cafes and eateries directly downstairs. Supermarket nearby and a 5 minute walk to the beach. The person checking us in was lovely, made the experience really easy and explained everything really well. Likewise we had checkout information slipped under the door the night before we left so we knew exactly what to do.

Not a dislike just a heads up - the only thing I would suggest is that travelers check their arrival times as there is no way to check in after 8pm (no lock box or other) and we didn't realise that until after we had booked airfares etc. but it all worked out fine in the end.

Facilities very clean and wsell presented. The staff at Reception were very attentive, even going so far as to change our room, at their suggestion, as both my wife and are have difficulty with showers over a bathtub and the first room would have been very difficult for us to shower.

The room overlooked the main street of Broadbeach and outside noise (particularly people hooning in noisy cars) was annoying, but beyond the control of the property to do anything about so we just grinned and bore it.

Perfect location with short walking distance to the beach or tram stop, a lot of restaurants and amenities right around. Convenient basement parking that gives sense of security as there is a roll-up gate for guests only. It does give a bit dated vibe around but it’s very clean - including shared facilities like indoor heated pool or sauna which we enjoyed. The one-bedroom apartment is very spacious with nicely equipped kitchen (plenty of knickknacks included!), again maybe a bit dated look but still nice and clean. The staff is extremely supportive - we have arrived in the morning, hoping we can at least use the parking, but the room was ready and we were given the access to the apartment way ahead check in time. After check out there was no issue to continue using parking for the rest of the day, we could even continue using other facilities

All good! Maybe just the confusing part was that Broadbeach Holiday Apartments is more like a company managing the apartments in the Phoenician building - we somewhat expected a big logo with the “Broadbeach…” name on the building so at first we circled around before realising there is a front office at the corner of Phoenician building. Again, not a big deal and there is plenty of short term street parking to leave the car and look around.

Location was amazing. Close to public transport, restaurants and the beach. Apartment was spacious with balcony and large living areas.

Would be really helpful to have oil or small amounts of butter for cooking. I went to the shops and then ended up having to boil veggies as there was no ‘staples’ in the cupboard. Many Air BnBs have this.

The location of the Phoenician motel is its best attribute, your right in the middle of the Broadbeach restaurant strip and a short walk to the beach. The room were given had a small full kitchen , lounge area and separate bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Onsite parking & both an outdoor & indoor pool is very useful. The units are privately owned and let out by an agency so furnishings will vary.

Being on the main strip you will expect street noise up until about 10-11pm but it is muffled with the balcony doors closed.

Nicely appointed nice views and in a good location handy to shopping facilities and public transport

Didn't like the use of a plastic kettle could have been stainless steel , and the sharp knives were blunt. Also we found small cockroaches running around in the bathroom .Place should be sprayed fridge kept opened and you manually had to close it. Washing rack rusty the mattresses werent very good.l
