Within Central Market location. Walking distance to Independence Square, river side walk, very nice area. Staff are always polite, smiling and helpful.

Hotel gym has only 2 machines on roof top, small pool and swim at own risk. Breakfast buffet is just enough to fill stomach. Don't expect a good spread of local dishes, and there is no refill. The food were not heated up, mostly luke warm to cold. It's better to eat at the nearby food court in Central Market.

Excellent location. Right by old and small markets as well as various eateries and tourist spots. A little busy and congested area and some homeless people sleep outside by the hotel however I didn't find any problems with that. You can get on with your business as normal day or night. Just be alert to any scammers, we came across one pair in all our trip and can happen to anyone visiting the area I guess. They didn't even seem local, seemed like foreigners. Beware anyone asking strange questions and being over friendly in the street, in any city of the world probably. Staff are polite. Excellent value for money

Water looks a bit cloudy so I preferred to use bottle water even for my tea. I did have the tap water for tea once and used it to wash obviously and didn't have any problems but I'm still suspicious of it. Rooms a little dusty and not very clean though reasonably ok. Considering the price. Lift stopped working on last day so had to use dark stairwell to take bags down. Probably a one off occurrence but still a memorable one.

- Small room - The light in the bathroom mirror didn't work in the room - In the corner room on the 6th floor, something was constantly making noise, as if a washing machine was working somewhere or something similar

The look of the hotel, keeping the spirit of the historical Kuala Lumpur but fully renovated and modern inside. The lovely pool on the roof top, great view on KL. The style inside, cosy, warm, quiet, intimate, good rooms. Nice staff, the location, next to Central Market, near LRT Pasar Seni and Masjid Jamek, near Petaling street. Perfect situation

The hotel is unfortunately near a spot where homeless people are constantly staying/waiting/living... My stay was to short....

The location is absolutely perfect. The central market is right across the street. However it’s not noisy at all throughout nighttime, because the market is closed in the evening. The view of the rooftop pool is amazing. The bathroom is spacious. We left very early in the morning on our last day and the staff organised a little breakfast box for takeaway, even though that’s usually not available. Thank you so much for all the effort.

The breakfast could be more sumptuous. And I don’t know what was wrong with the toaster. It always burned the toast no matter how you adjusted the heat. Some more storage place in the bathroom would be helpful, so you don’t have to put your toilet bag on the ground. In general the hotel needs a bit of renovation. At least the walls could be painted freshly. That would already change a lot. When we arrived there were some sticky spots on the table. Please make sure you check any surfaces when cleaning. The hotel is in what we consider to be a fantastic location, just a short walk from the historical heart of KL. With the Central Market next door and Chinatown at its doorstep, there were innumerable places to eat, drink and shop. Breakfast was very reasonably priced and great value for money - the 'live egg station' was exceptional - we enjoyed omelette or scrambled eggs, as well as freshly made waffles or pancakes, along with fresh fruit, juice and pastries amongst the offerings. We also liked that we could open the bedroom window, although it was quite noisy to here the train go by during the night, but we got used to it. The bed was very comfortable.

Our room (which was on the sixth floor) seemed to be made up quite late in the day, hence on two occasions when we returned after 2.30pm to rest, the room was not made up - hence the bed was not made, nor was water, coffee, tissues, etc, replenished in our room. The room we had (a Superior room) was rather small and, although we managed just fine since we travel with only a medium sized bag each, we would pay more next time to have more space. We'd also have liked to have had a top sheet on the bed instead of just a quilt with quilt cover (doona), as we prefer the option to turn the air con off and open a window.

Very satisfied with the hotel itself, clean room and facilities are great. Check in and check out very fast and staff very friendly.

Location is very central which is very easy to find as its literally next to Pasar Seni but as usual since its Central KL got a lot of homeless people in front which makes it a bit scary to go out at night as the entrance is not a very busy street. Esp for women staying alone

I had a corner room on the 3rd floor (should be on the 5th level of the building) with an open view of the city. The view will be better if on high floor. The shower space was great, bath tub is wide enough for proper dip, room planning and walking space was great.

A cleaner windows from the outside would have make it better. A little more vibrant lift/elevator to match the hotel outlook would lifted the environment. The roof top pool could be kept open a little later into the night instead of closing at 8pm. Missed the opportunity to view the city skyline at night.

The staff: doorman/security, reception, housekeeping and maintenance were excellent. The room was comfortable and clean. The location was very convenient.

There were issues with the plumbing and phone. However, as soon as informed, the staff solved these issues. The safety box could not be used and the hairdryer was not working. There's a good selection for breakfast but it needs improvement; many of the dishes which were supposed to be served warm were not, like the rice and noodles. The coffee maker machine did not make good coffee despite the options.

V comfy bed & pillows, Nice rooftop pool. Booked a room without breakfast, there are many cheap places to eat nearby & it's fun to try different places. Great location (although Grab cars have trouble getting there bc of the one way streets nearby). Get 2 bottles of water each day (or more if you asked at reception). Staff was very helpful, even printed our tickets for Petronas Twin Towers for us.

Almost no places to hang towels (only 1 place above toilet, but we are given 4 towels, so not sure where we could hang them to dry...).
