it seemed to be an older room but kept very clean. It had a comfortable feel. Enrique was very informative, and his choice for dinner was spot on. z the best area but not the worst. they had a short open walk path a long the water and a couple docks, wish I would have packed a pole. Did I mention they had a couple nice picnic tables but beware of all the ducks and ducklings. all in all, great place , good staff easy access any direction.

the restaurant was closed, no staff to run it and same with the bar. would have been nice not to have to go somewhere else. by the way, if you're a bartender, they need one.

Everything was great, including the area around it. It is in a world of its own- the views of the waterfront are fantastic, and the resort is perfect. I felt totally safe, day or night- not a homeless person in sight! This is one of the best stays I have ever had; it just felt very “comfortable”. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

Everything was great! My expectations were blown away! I was hesitant to stay near Oakland, but this area is definitely NOT “Oakland”.

The rooms were impeccably clean, and it was evident that the cleaning team took their job seriously. It's always reassuring to stay in a hotel where cleanliness is a top priority. What truly stood out to us was the exceptional level of service we received when we requested a quieter room to celebrate our anniversary. Luis and Nina, the staff members we dealt with, went above and beyond to accommodate our request. For a reasonable extra charge, we were given a charming and romantic room on the river side, making our anniversary celebration all the more special. Additionally, the breakfast at the hotel was a pleasant surprise, offering a variety of delicious options to start our day off right. Overall, our stay at the Executive Inn & Suites was a memorable and enjoyable experience, thanks in large part to the attentive staff, clean accommodations, and the extra effort made to make our anniversary celebration unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for more, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

The room was spacious. parking super convenient. staff very nice. water bottle filling station was well placed! Breakfast for kids was good - cereals and waffles, kid friendly eggs.

the room was not super clean... chair at desk was not clean. The window was really dirty. Breakfast is a little depressing: second day there was no oatmeal for older people. First day eggs were layered with cheese - not an older person option. No veggies. very limited fruit.

Nice and comfortable room, very comfortable large kingsize bed with a hard mattress, balcony with a nice view, nice large TV with a good selection of movie channels, professional staff, good Mexican food truck right in front of the hotel, jacuzzi and pool available, fridge in the room, dinner options, breakfast included!

Bathroom pretty oldschool, uncomfortable shower, no Smart-TV, too expensive for what's being offered...

Everything was great except when my car got almost stolen. On the side of the hotel its good it has people coming that are homeless, on drugs, prostitution from the adjacent side of the street.

Security so peoples cars are protected as well as the customers. Other than that the atmosphere was great inside the suites, the food was good and service and front desk superb. Just parking lot issues

We stayed in a suite on the third floor. The room was very nice and the view of the water was even better, HOWEVER, the shower was absolutely ridiculous! It was like turning on a monsoon! When I turned the shower on it wet up my clothes AND water went all over the bathroom floor because there was no shower door to stop the water from spraying all over the place. there is a partial shower door that really serves no purpose other than aesthetics! Learn from our experience and prepare to get VERY wet turning on the shower. You might as well put towels all over the floor first. Unfortunately the shower is shared with the toilet , so if you have to use the toilet everything is wet. Other than having to wear a swimsuit to turn the monsoon on lol 😂 it was a very pleasant stay.

Hotel was in a decent area. Staff was nice, continental breakwas great. Waffle, eggs, sausage, cereal, the basic breakfast needs. Once i checked in, fast and easy they told me housekeeper was not going to do the beds daily but will stop in every morning to swap the towels out with new ones and toiletries. I didnt get any of that!! Beds were super comfy along with pillows. Had a street view but didnt matter to me. Bathroom was big and loved the shower! Breakfast area has a beautiful water view.

Room cleaning 1/4 days attempted one day but we were still in room. Asked desk personnel to please let housekeeping know we were gone from the room for the day so room could be cleaned but came back to dirty room again.

Hotel was beautiful, staff was amazing, the water view upgrade i did was a plus!!! Felt this hotel surrounding was safe and comfortable to me and my family. Breakfast was good, no complaints. Would love to stay again!

Being my first time in Oakland wasn't aware or expecting the high population of homeless people everywhere. Street view from the hotel isn't so great, very dirty, junk everywhere, lots of homeless people and tagging.
