The location in Arcachon was perfect. It was literally around the corner from the market hall, market square and two excellent restaurants. Despite all of those things it was quiet. It was about a 5-10 minute walk from the sea front. We couldn’t have asked for more. The room was really excellent. The only improvement would have been a balcony but was not real.y needed in the short time we were there and of course would have been more expensive. Cooking facilities were good although we only had breakfast there during our four night stay. A very comfortable bed.

A cafetière would have been a good idea as only one of us drinks coffee and the filter machine was a little big. The TV did not have English channels apart from news.

The location is absolutely perfect. It is right in the centre of this beautiful pedestrian town and super close to the beach. An absolutely beautiful little town. I wish we'd booked for longer. The staff were so helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The staff are super friendly. I highly recommend this location. We got parking in the private area of the car park for a fee. The hotel staff explain how to get to it. Car parking is very important to us and we were very happy with it. You park directly outside the hotel to drop off your stuff and then they will explain to you how to get to the car park underneath. It's so lovely being in a pedestrian town. Given the accommodation is so reasonable, we didn't mind paying the €25 euro.

While the location is perfect, the hotel is getting just a little tired. I'm super fussy and don't usually like tired hotels but I would not let that put you off at all as the location makes up for it all.

Everything was fabulous. The staff were friendly, the sauna was lovely, the apartment was clean, spacious, and well -equipped -- I wish that I could've stayed longer! I would definitely stay here again if ever in the area in the future.

The room was a little cold when I entered since the heater had been turned off and it took a long time to warm up (there were many windows in my room, which likely created a draft) but fortunately the blanket on the bed was warm. Just note that this was perhaps the smallest shower that I have ever seen - I'm perhaps an average-sized woman and I bumped the walls with my elbows a few times! Unfortunately there was an issue with Wi-Fi on the day that I arrived, but I think that was unusual.

Everything was fine. Very comfortable. Having kitchen facilities a fridge and a dishwasher. We did not use any of these as our stay was a short one. Maybe next time. Thhe location is excellent with easy access to every thing.

I am sorry but the shower cabinet in our room was a 'wee bit tiny'! Not much room to turn round. Although it may be larger in other rooms. We feel the architect could have thought more about this. Certainly for taller and 'larger' individuals it would be a problem. Apart from this we could not fault the accommodation.

The Residhome in Arcachon was a fantastic property to stay in to discover the many delights of this charming town. We were delighted to find that our room overlooked the main Market Square, and we enjoyed watching the markets being set up every morning. There is also a very good selection of Restaurants / Bistros / Cafes in the square too, and don't forget to try the famous oysters!

I loved the room with the separate bathroom and toilet and the bath was an extra bonus. The room was well equipped with a hob, fridge and an amazing small dishwasher which was so useful as my friends and i cooked in the room for a few evenings and were able to enjoy hot food. However we weren’t quite able to master the microwave but this didn’t interfere with our meals. The water was always lovely and hot whenever I came to use it.

I did ask at reception a couple of times if I was able to view a suite, for a return trip, as I would have loved a room with a sunny outlook but similar or larger to the one which I stayed in- may be to share with friends. However this didn’t happen and I was disappointed as I only wanted to have a quick look to give me an idea of other rooms. I know the hotel was busy but my request would have only taken a few minutes

Absolutely the best location for our first visit to this charming seaside town. Situated in quiet pedestrian street a stone's throw from the daily outdoor/indoor morning markets. Short 5 min walk to the promenade and beach restaurants. Our one bedroom apartment was on the third floor, lifts worked well. Spotlessly clean. We used the sofa bed in open plan living area which pulled out into double bed easily and found both beds in apartment very comfortable. Kitchen is compact but very well equipped and has a welcome small dish washer. Our room had doors opening to small balcony (Room 304) overlooking quiet interior courtyard. Reception area is beautifully decorated with seating area. There is a private spa area on ground floor (booking required) with jacuzzi and hot steam room.

Our 7 night stay over Easter was exceptionally good and surpassed our expectation. It was, however, disappointing to discover that there is currently building work inside shop next door and the noise of this was dreadful, disrupting our sleep early in the morning when we particularly came on holiday to relax and rest! Apologies from reception were expressed. However, this did spoil our much needed relaxation and sense of wellbeing on our holiday as I travelled with my 18 year old niece who has autism.

Really appreciated and enjoyed the surprise upgrade to "The Junior Suite" as we decided to stay a few days longer than had originally planned (we extended our stay since the people and area of Arcachon were so nice & good to us)! Somehow the cleaning staff was always able to clean & make our bed... around our non-predictable schedule and yet never be seen by us, just like magic.

Still not used to twin beds put together to make a large/ king size, otherwise everything was perfect!

Lovely hotel, excellent location, clean, friendly staff.

Access via the pedestrianised area meant having to phone the hotel who helped us negotiate the route but French is not my first language and although I did manage, I made the effort to speak french as best I could but as I often find with anywhere in France although staff can speak english, they don't make the effort to communicate with you in english.

Very friendly, accommodating and efficient staff. Large wrap around balcony was very nice, with view of the square. The curtains and sliding doors made for very quiet sleeping. And we woke up to a great Sunday morning market below the hotel (without hearing it).

The shower was not super clean, and very small. Thankfully there was also a bathtub. But the fixtures were so cheap on both they didn't hold their places and kept falling. We were 4 (but the room was for 6), and nowhere near enough toiletries. They gave us a coffee pod machine with no pods (pointless). Then some (terrible) Nescafe tubes for 3 people (not 4-6), on the table. For the very high price of this room, much more was expected in terms of amenities, extras, etc.
