The location and staff were terrific, and the hotel had a nice water view.

While the rooms appeared well insulated from the sound of neighboring rooms, the heavy room doors (mine and others) were not set well and rubbed against their frames, which resulted in noise when the doors were opened and closed as they skipped about the frame. Indeed, it is an easily fixed issue when they close the hotel over winter. Some might find it dated. However, don't let that keep you from staying here.

Execellent service. We came late (22.00), it appeared that our car was too high to enter the hotel garage, nearby restaurants were just about to close, and Michael (night receptionist) helped us with all this quickly and efficiently. He went well beyond his duties! Other people at the reception desk were king and helpful as well The central location of the hotel is very convenient: right at the seaside, very close to the main pier for the ferries, the center, restaurants and so on.

Hotel garage could be higher (it is till 180 cm). Beds are not comfortable enough. And there was one exception within the overally high quality od the service: the night receptionist on the evening 3.05. When we came back, she was very involved in exchange in the bar, did no come to the reception until I started to make noise using several room kees just left carelessly on the desk (!), and finally did not give us a satisfying answer concerning our problem about coming departure (we got this information easily in the morning). Generally, she was unfriendly and seemed incompetent.

Spacious airy room in a great location.

The only two negatives were some fairly early morning street noise and although I reported a very strong smell coming from the WC and suggested housekeeping/maintenance have a look, it was not resolved.

Would prefer a walk in shower. This bath was slippery and a little dangerous. Parking- underground - very convenient, but dirty and wet and very expensive Shame the breakfast room had no aspect as it had no windows. Would be nice if there was a bar.

The terrace was a bit out-dated and the grass was high the first day (it was cut down the 2nd day). The terrace-specific furniture could also be freshened.

Location is perfect for centre ville and beach area being close to restaurants etc. Has underground parking. Didn't have breakfast but used the bar facility in the evening which has a good selection of drinks.

Poor lighting in bathroom making it difficult to do ablutions. Standing in bath to shower is dangerous as it's floor has no anti-slip and when soaped up, one can easily fall.

All went well, from the first meeting of the very supportive staff until going home. The underground car park was so useful albeit not cheap, but that was understandable and necessary. Really liked the endless supply of gaseous water. the terrace supplied with the room was delightful.

Absolutely splendid stay at this hotel! Impeccable service, luxurious amenities, and stunning views made our visit unforgettable. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. Can't wait to return

Breakfast was good and enough, simpler assortment but fresh and variety also delivered, some food is available upon order. The staff / personnel was polite, supportive and friendly, setting up good atmosphere. When I am next time in Arcachon, I likely will come back.

price / facilities - breakfast room was way way too small and a limited breakfast offering . the hotel is a bit “tired” and not what I would call 4*
