Staff is very helpful and friendly all round. Drinks in the room fridge were included and restocked on room clean. Nice of the staff to give is some bottles of water on checkout for the rouad trip.

The initial room was quite small, without any space for the dog to sleep without being stepped on. We paid for an upgrade, and the new room was excellent. There was some confusion with the breakfast, while being checked in, we were told that we had breakfast included but that was not correct. There are electric chargers available for cars, but this somehow not worked, and the car was not charged when we left after two days.

The hotel is very well located, closed to the train station, just around 7 minutes walk to the city centre. The young lady from the reception (sorry for forgetting her name) was extremely helpful and kind, providing all the information related to trips, and booking tickets. I arrived earlier, very tired and I could check in. The breakfast was diverse and very good quality. The room was modern, fresh, quiet, coffee/tea maker, complimentary water, and juice available. Free water bottles and apples are also available at the reception.

The only downside, yet expected, was the small size of the single room.

The basic rooms are small. If you have more than one suitcase it's a struggle to open both at once and not feel cramped. The heating is a radiator with thermostat. We found it hard to get a uniform temperature throughout the night. You do get noise from other doors in the corridor closing and room cleaning.

We were very pleased when we checked into Cascada Hotel. As it was our first time in Luzern, we were very grateful that Corrine Haari was there to help us and facilitate our check-in to ensure that it was a smooth process. She showed us to our rooms and patiently explained to us the different activities that could be done in Luzern. She never hesitated to clear our doubts and ensure that everything from our restaurant bookings and room was smooth sailing. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and we were blessed to have been able to get such a nice view of Mount Pilatus right from our balcony. The location was great and the lake and restaurants were easily accessible, only having to walk around 10-15 minutes to get there. Overall, we would rate this hotel a 10/10 and we would definitely want to come back again. Additionally, our experience here was even better after meeting such a kind person like Corrine Haari. :)

Liked how clean and environmentally sound the room was. It was a lovely big well appointed room. The shower was amazing. Pillows were great!

It was to single beds next to each other. With their own sheet and doona - not a double/large bed. Their was only 2 towels, which makes it hard when washing/drying your hair, and would have been good if their was an iron and ironing board. I understand wanting a light footprint/ but these are the things that would have made our stay better :) but it was still very lovely!!

The staff were super attentive and patient during check in and upgraded our rooms to a duplex so that we could be together as a family as well offering umbrellas since it was raining. The hotel provided nice refreshing drinks at the lobby as well as complimentary minibar and Nespresso machine in the rooms. Conveniently located to train station and Lucerne Old Town. Close to food and shopping. We had our honeymoon in Lucerne exactly 30 years ago and our room was beautifully decorated with heart-shaped chocolates on our bed! Lovely surprise!

There was no hook to hang the towel closer to the shower so it was really unpleasant to have to step out of the shower especially when it was cold to grab the towel.

Family small suite was comfortable and beautiful decorated. They offered as courtesy drinks in the minibar. Breakfast was the best one we had ever in Europe. Parking on site.

It would be perfect excepting for the staff. We arrived one hour prior check in time with the only intention to park for lunch and one man long hair receptionist was rude. Then, we came back several hours later to make check in and we had to wait more than ten minutes because a young lady with glasses was working inside the office. Poor customer service.

Little bit far from old town but nice and close to train Couldn’t figure out the AC even after reading manual. Hit my head on slanted ceiling 3x -my fault

We booked a family room for 3 and was surprised to find the room very cosy and nice for 3pax. My daughter particularly liked her little corner. Room is clean with air-cond & we had a little problem with the air-cond and the mechanic was around even though it is night time to help settle the problem. Love the welcome drink at Bolero and free drinks in the mini bar. The hotel also gave out a visitor card that you can use for free travel on the buses & trains within the city plus discounts at some places of interest. Had Dinner at Bolero restaurant and it is one of the best meal we had in Lucerne. The staff at the reception & restaurant were all very friendly too!
