Everything was really nice. I would definitely stay there again.

There were two things. When I texted the hotel a day before, nobody answered, which resulted in some confusion upon our late arrival. Also, there was one man(member of staff) who was always very grumpy and rude at one point, telling us off for not leaving the room on time, even though we were staying two nights. But apart from that all the other members of staff were extremely nice and helpful, so it didn't spoil our stay.

The online booking system, having to download an app and type in a code before gaining access - or so l thought, though when we turned up the door was open and there were actual people to check us in which was a pleasant surprise. Also the hotel badly needs an awning over it's westerly facing main door - the reception area was very sunny - and hot, even though the a/c was working full blast. plus, l wasn't keen on reception and dining area occupying the same space - it was slightly unnerving to enter the hotel to find a family eating lunch beside us as we checked in....

I liked terrace and the view very much. But unfortunately we were at the end of November, so it was not so decorated as in the picture though the weather is very good and it was very nice to sit there. It is good to stay for few days. The beach of black sand is about 3 km from the hotel and it is very nice.

There is no even little fridge for drinks to stay cool. There is no hairdryer, it’s very poor in the bathroom, there were no space where to put things and my cosmetics. Everything was on the floor.

In the middle of nowhere, very quiet and calm area. Modest but clean and fair enough considering the price. Restaurant/pizzeria available in the same building, just next to the reception desk (please avoid choosing Italian cheese and cold cut platter, terribly greasy and not Italian at all!!!). Breakfast was very fine, ordered from the menu, but you can order whatever you wish from the list available both in English and Español. No worries about the parking at the street - the town ends right there, you can park your car everywhere, also just in front of the hotel :)

"King-size bed" were just two separate single beds put together in a way that kept splitting in two the whole night through... Please improve the construction, as such an offer does not make sense. No hangers in the bathroom and the room itself.

Extremely pleasant experience staying at Hotel Portman. Fantastic base to explore the incredible scenery and historic mines of Portman. Night porter stayed up late to check me in after my flight was slightly delayed Attentive staff who responded to every need - room was serviced and cleaned every day. Wonderful breakfast, served with a smile and the best fresh orange juice, strong coffee and selection of fruits / warm and croissants. On site restaurant with a tasty menu and local wines.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and accomodating. Room was clean and large.

Despite being of modern design, the bathroom lacked some essentials, in particular a decent shelf to place toiletries and there were no facilities to hang clothes whilst showering. The towels were clean but of poor quality and not absorbent.

The staff was very helpful and polite, the rooms clean, tidy and the entire hotel quite new. The breakfast very very good - hardly ever seen a better value for money. The beach roughly 5 minutes by car away with very fine black sand all very nice. Portman seems to be an old mining town where business stopped. If you are interested maybe a plus.

View, food, tranquility, nature! Ideal for get away and perfect food! It’s hard to imagine how old is this small town and it preserves Spanish village culture. I really recommend to see it and stay overnight. Personnel is so friendly, we had a lot of attention and support with my 1 year old son.

The included breakfast was great and the staff were so friendly and helpful! It’s in a small village town that is currently having a lot of work done but this didn’t spoil its charm. The bar and restaurant are open every evening till 10:30/ 11 so it’s great if you need some food or a drink but are too late for the supermarket!

The whole experience was excellent. The staff friendly and helpful, the rooms clean, comfortable and quiet, the food very good. Can't sing more praises for Hotel Portman

The only slight improvement would be Tea/Coffee facilities in the room, but as the restaurant is open most of the time, this is easy to remedy.
