Our superior apartment was well equipped with everything we could think of - and was very clean. The terrace is east-facing so you can see the sunrise – which is breathtaking. The private jacuzzi on our terrace was awesome – we loved it!:) In each bedroom we had ACs. The whole area of the property was well maintained. The shared pool looked great but unfortunately the weather was quite windy during our stay, so we did not use it. The breakfast was very delicious and you have a decent number of options to choose from. Our host, Avgi was exceptionally friendly and helpful. She helped us whatever questions we had. She can help you with car rental and arranging excursions as well. Big shout out to her for the free room upgrade!:) The location is near Imerovigli – which by the way I think the best place to stay in Santorini. It is not as crowded as Oia or Fira and the sunset is equally picturesque - if not even more in my opinion! To get to Imerovigli (and bus stop) from the property you need to walk 10 minutes which includes a decent uphill part – no sidewalks so you need to be careful. From there you can take the bus to Fira bus station – but you can also walk there in another 35 minutes – this time on cobblestone pedestrian streets with breathtaking views of the caldera. We did not rent a car because we love walking so we always walked to the bus station in Fira and back to the property each and every day. We always made sure to get back before it got too dark after sunset. BUT if you do not like walking long distances or you do not feel comfortable walking on the road without sidewalks then I would definitely recommend to rent a car! As mentioned earlier the hosts can help you with that.

The property was perfect for the vacation we had. It is close to the bus station that leads to Oia and there you have a Carrefour, where you can buy many things you need for your stay. It is a 10-12 minute walk to the center where you can take the most important buses. The breakfast was very good from the property and quite diverse. We really felt good in this place and I want to thank the owners for always helping us and responding to all our requests. At the end of our stay, since we had a very early flight on Sunday, the owner left us a sandwich for each person, a very nice gesture that we appreciated.

Breakfast was good and leady at breakfast area was very welcoming. Apartment was also as per expectations though microwave was faulty and lead to electricity outage but staff fixed electricity soon.

I put age of my daughter as 2 years as she is not 3 yet. But lady at reception was insisting that I should write 3 years as per European norms and I should pay extra as she is elder to 2 years. Now I am not sure why I should put 3 years when my daughter is not yet 3. Later they did not charge me for it after some discussions but still it was not good experience for me.

Excellent breakfast, beautiful view of the sea and the east side of the island from our room's balcony (we booked the Cassiopea room), about a 10-15 min walk to Fira and there's a small Carrefour supermarket about 200m right up the road which is super convenient to stock up on some supplies for your stay. Helpful and friendly staff - very responsive on WhatsApp. Peaceful and quiet. Car, ATV, or motorcycle rental is recommended to get around if you're staying here since it's not located directly next to anything. You can either book at the airport or port, or you can book one through the hotel.

We stayed in the Cassiopea room which was on the second floor (one up from the ground) and if you have mobility issues, perhaps ask for a ground-level room. When you arrive, don't plan on unloading your luggage directly in front of the hotel, as there's no space for a car to park there, but there is a small public parking area across the street. Just watch out for cars as there is a couple of blind spots in the road. Generally, people are good about letting you cross the street though so we didn't have much trouble.

The reception staff Bella was nice and very friendly. We were upgraded to a room with the hot tub jacuzzi which was excellent. The room was a good value and nice place. Good customer service.

It’s around the 300meters of unpaved dark road to the hotel which nice if you want to get away from the crowds and have your own privacy. Also you don’t get complimentary water nor coffee which normally other hotels provide, although they have bottles of water, wine, chocolates in the mini bar of the room.

We loved our stay at Belle Etoile!! The staff were so kind, so friendly and so accommodating! Our room (Perseus) was brilliant! Hidden to the side, meaning you had your own area and privacy, with a INCREDIBLE view of the Island!!! Your own private spacious terrace and private hot tub! This villa was so lovely, and the staff kept it so clean! The breakfast was really good, with lots to choose from! The bar is really good with kind barstaff and good priced drinks (especially the cocktails) Really recommend staying here!!

Apartment was clean and cleaned every morning, with air con in both rooms. We had a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, kettle, sink, refrigerator and microwave. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, with great view overlooking the eastern coast, as did our balcony. There is good Carfour supermarket a walkable distance away (approx 200/300m). The staff were also very helpful regarding where to go and arranging our rental, and a taxi from and to the airport.

Regarding the hotel itself I really can't think of anything negative as a 3 star. I had read in other reviews about the road with no pavement, either down to Fira or up to Imerovigli, both about a km walk. I hadn't expected it to be so busy, particularly at night. Some form of rental transport is needed if you intend leaving the hotel for more than just shopping. Taxis were quite expensive and weren't really an option for us.

The breakfast was excellent but the ordering was confusing. You had to order the first day for everyday but it wasn’t clear you had to do that. The staff were superb and very accommodating and helpful and friendly.

I don’t like being charged so much for every little thing like 2euros for a bottle of water and then when I brought my own water, I still got charged by the hotel. It’s not easy to walk to places as it’s far from town. You have to rent a car to get anywhere.

We stayed in the Pagasus room as a family of 4. There was plenty of room, a lovely balcony with a view over to the east with the beautiful sunrise. The room was well equipped with loads of towels, toiletries and ample kitchenware. We didn't use the pool but it looked lovely, as did the terrace where you could choose to have breakfast (it was a bit cool for us in October). The staff were lovely and helpful and organised a hire car for us for the following morning. The breakfast was nice and delivered at the time we requested to our room.

Without a car the location isn't ideal. You have to walk for about 10 minutes along a roadside to get to Imerovigli where the nearest restaurant and shops are.
