Theano Cave suites is my favourite accommodation I've ever stayed in, I was excited to stay once I saw the pictures online however when I arrived it was even better than expected. It was my first time in Santorini and Elizabeth was super helpful when I arrived, she gave me and map with some notes and let me know all the different things she could book for me which was really great as I wasn't really sure where to start. It also put my mind at ease as I was travelling alone but it was nice to know there was someone helpful on hand and I felt really safe! Elizabeth was really knowledgable about the island and it really helped me make plans for the rest of my trip and she even helped me book a table for sunset at a restaurant over the road, Afropsaro which was amazing and I had a front row table for sunset. Breakfast arrives on the terrace each morning which is amazing especially with the view. I stayed in the cave with the hot tub which I was concerned wouldn't be as good as the ones with the swimming pools but I honestly loved it! It was a great place to relax in the morning or after a long day exploring. The cave itself was perfect, it had everything you need for your stay + had modern touches like USB ports and a coffee machine! I will definitely be back to stay at Theano suites, I'm hoping to go island hopping soon and I will be making sure Theano suites is my final destination for some relaxation!

Elizabeth was amazing and helped us coordinate our trip. She helped us book a catamaran cruise, tours, dinner reservations and more. Breakfast was great every morning and provided when we asked. Service was excellent as well!

Very comfortable, clean, nice, private cave with amazing and warm swimming pool, delicious breakfast and helpful personnel with smile on their face all the time !! The breakfast comes every day (different) and personnel is waking up with smile on faces just to say that breakfast is ready! 😁 Located in amazing place near Oia and Fira, which makes place very private and quiet after all day of exploring Santorini! Place is amazing, view and terrace gives unforgettable experience and manager is always when we need her with smile and helpful hand, thank you for making us best holidays! Thank you for having us! For sure we will come back to relax and spend best time on Santorini.

Everything was just perfect! Best holidays

Breakfast was great each morning - plenty to eat. The location for us was perfect. A very quiet area but a short walk (up a very steep hill!) onto the Oia trail with various restaurants. There is a Carrefour shop around 1km away which is along a main road uphill with no path - certainly not a comfortable walk but we had a hire car for our time there. We stayed in the villa Assyrtiko which looked exactly as the pictures. There are two main big bedrooms with en-suites, the third 'bedroom' is more open spaced and up some steep stairs. We would say this would be more of a kids room - the balcony gave even greater views. Elizabeth sorted everything for us and recommended two great restaurants - Sunsha in Fira and Afropsaro a few minutes walk opposite the accommodation - highly recommend both of these. This was our second visit to Santorini and both trips have been great - would definitely recommend the island as well as Theano!

The villa had amazing views of the sea, and we had a delicious breakfast spread brought to us in the backyard facing the sea everyday, which we looked forward to everyday. Even the bathroom had a window that you could look out to admire the view while showering! The villa was spacious yet cosy and the amenities were plentiful (coffee maker, oven, electric stove, kettle, even tea bags and coffee powder in the cupboards). Heated pool was also a plus, though the weather in March was a little chilly for anything more than a short dip. It is located in Imerovigli, which is just a 5-10min short drive from Fira. The place was quiet and private, away from the crowds, which we very much enjoyed. There was also a carrefour just 3 min drive away for quick grocery runs. The hosts were nothing short of amazing!! Elizabeth, the host, had given me suggestions of things to do even before my trip there. We had visited in early March, which was still the off season, so many restaurants and places were closed, and knowing this, they had prepared a list of available restaurants and wineries that were open for us to visit. Elizabeth is just a text away, and was ready to book us a taxi at a moment’s time at 8pm when we had missed our bus and was stranded in Oia. She also graciously allowed us early check in/ late check out where possible. They are simply the epitome of Greek hospitality, as Elizabeth and Albana always said to call them or text them if we need anything. We had found some ants that possibly came in through the window, and it was swiftly dealt with within the day. Staying in this beautiful villa was definitely a highlight of our Santorini trip! I would definitely choose to stay here again in a heartbeat

Very comfortable& well designed rooms in caves with sea view . Private heated swimming pool makes your stays more relaxing and luxurious 😊direct view for spectacular sunrise from yr apartment. Perfect localization just 5 minutes walk to see stunning caldera sunsets! You have delicious breakfast served every day on your tarrace😊 And the most important person - Elisabeth 🩷she takes care of everyone wholeheartedly, makes your stay on Santorini exceptional ( recommends best restaurants , beach clubs, catamaran cruises etc )

My name is Ayna, i am from Turkmenistan. It was my dream to see Santorini. I start checking hotels at booking com. And found Theano CaveI Suites & Villas, read comments & booked it. And I liked everything at our Cave suite. Everything was comfortable, private pool, traditional home-cooked Greek breakfast delivered to your room every day. But I would like to really thank Elizabeth, a wonderful manager, a wonderful woman, a wonderful person, who helped us with car rental and gave us advice on where to go and what to see. Her attitude was like we were friends and had known each other for 100 years. Thank you very much for everything.

I recently stayed at Theano Cave Suites & Villas in Santorini and had an exceptional experience. The individual cave suites, each with a personal pool, were stunning and provided excellent amenities. The rooms were beautifully designed, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The location offers a lovely view of the east side of the island, ideal for relaxation. The host, Elizabeth, was incredibly knowledgeable about the island, offering great recommendations for take-away places, restaurants, and excursions.

If you plan to get Cladera from your bedroom this is not the place, but after a short 5 mins break you can climb the nearby hill and see all its splendour.

After reading so many wondering reviews, especially mentioning the wonderdul host Elizabeth, we had to try th3 Cave suites. Our stay and trip was truly magical and that was completely facilitated by Elizabeth. Nothing is too much trouble, she genuinely wants you to have the best time you can, ans the breakfasts are fabulous! A trip of a lifetime with no exaggeration. Check out the bar ROKA just off to the right at rhe top of the road for sunset. Breathtaking! We will be making plenty more visits!

If we'd had more time we would have done more...but that's it!

The location was excellent and the sunrise was amazing which we could see from the front door of our cave. The breakfast was the best we had in our entire 21 days travelling the Cyclades islands. The bed was very comfortable and the ensuite bathroom was the biggest and best of the 6 hotels we had stayed in during our trip around the islands. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful and informative. Elizabeth was even able to arrange a hire car to be delivered to us at no extra charge and we were able to drop the car at the airport for a small extra charge to save time and money on taxis. We were 5 minutes from Imerovigili by car which is a beautiful village with very nice restaurants and a view of the famous sunset but without the crazy crowds of OIA.

There was nothing we didn't like. The only thing visitors need to be aware of is that you will need a car as the caves are a 5 minute drive (20 minute walk) from Imerovigili. But that is not really a problem as most visitors are going to be exploring the island anyway.
