Delightful helpful staff. Beautiful surroundings. An oasis in the madness of a hot days sightseeing.

Room lacked storage for cases. We felt uncomfortable with the constant ‘upselling’ of extras - all of which were expensive for the area. We had the set dinner which was delicious but a relatively simple three course menu for €50/head. During the meal cava and wine were poured as very small tasting glasses. We were surprised to be charged for the full glasses instead of a tasting package. Compared with other meals at local restaurants it was poor value.

This place is simply stunning. The staff are very enthusiastic and clearly enjoy working there, and I ended up spending a lot of time at the hotel simply because it was so very cosy and beautiful. The pool is fantastic and while prices for breakfast are high, I recommend giving it a try - every bite was delicious.

Parking was conveniently located, but I felt the 23 euros/day were overpriced. It was also so narrow that I ended up slightly scratching my rental car trying to get back out of the garage, and for those willing to walk, be advised that there is a huge free parking lot across the river at maybe ten minutes' distance on foot. Had I known, I would have gone for that option.

BEAUTIFUL property. Incredible hospitality from the hosts. Amazing bathroom and luxurious shower.

Though it was only a 15min walk from the center of old town, I did find myself wishing I had stayed closer so it would be easier to stop by the hotel in between activities. Additionally, the room itself was really small, even by European standards. The room was on the ground floor within a courtyard so not only was there little natural light available, we also couldn’t leave the windows / curtains open since anyone in the courtyard would be able to see directly into the room. That said, the aritificial lighting in there was well designed. In short - loved the hotel and overall experience, just didn’t love the room itself.

Everything. Absolutely everything. José and Lisa are so lovely, and the staff were amazing. Their care of their guests is fantastic. The room (Petra) was beautiful, and the amenities were great. The terrace is so relaxing and a perfect place to spend some quiet time. I can't recommend the food enough, and do not miss out on dinner there. We were the only diners that night, and it was the most delicious, romantic meal I have had since my honeymoon. Cannot wait to return.

Nothing at all - it is a small hotel, tucked away down a small side street. For me, it felt closer to a very luxurious B&B, given how friendly and welcoming our hosts were.

Everything about this hotel shouted careful, thoughtful, considered planning and operation. The room we occupied was spacious and well furnished and only moments away from the breakfast/dining room, swimming pool and outside lounging area. The breakfast was quite unlike any other hotel breakfast I have ever had, in as much it was treated like a special occasion and served like an intimate three course meal - it was superb. We had not planned to have dinner, but were persuaded by the proprietor and were delighted by the experience - don't miss having at least one dinner at the hotel - all beautifully prepared and served. The centre of Cordoba is about 15 minutes stroll but beware, the small lanes and alleyways of this old city are confusing until you get your bearings - take a map or use your phone GPS to find your way around. The hotel is situated in a small, quiet dead end lane and has a charming garden entrance when you do find your way home.

Elderly folk might find the two short spiral staircases running through the middle of the hotel a little difficult, but saying that I am a fit 83 year old and didn't find them a problem.

The location is perfect, the parking (including the instructions) is easy (even for an SUV). The Patio looks amazing with a lot of love and ideas put in the design. The breakfast is special, and I suggest to try it at least once. Its not a buffet, you will be served with a selected dishes made of local ingridients. I found it interesting and tasty, but I can imagine people who dont eat much at breakfast or people who are used to buffet having different opinion. Patricia was very kind and made us feel very welcome.

Wi-fi in the room (hypnos) was almost non existent. But you dont come to Cordoba for netflix. The price for parking is high, but on vacation we preferred to pay it than have a stressful search for a free one.

Everything! Nothing was too much trouble for Lisa, Jose and their small team. The excellent information sent by WhatsApp and their advice and help before I arrived - they booked an excellent tour, a wine tasting and a wonderful quirky restaurant that catered for my dietary needs - meant that I was able to make the most of my short trip. The hotel is well designed, tranquil, comfortable and welcoming and the food offered is of excellent quality and beautifully presented. They have paid attention to every detail. I will definitely be returning.

Nothing.

This is a fabulous small hotel located within the old quarter of Cordoba The owners Jose and Lisa made us very welcome and are clearly passionate about the way their hotel is presented and how it reflects their own particular style. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable, free wi-fi is available throughout. The hotel has small pool and covered area which was an ideal place to relax and cool off during the afternoon heat. Secure parking is available in a separate building close by. The hotel is approx 10 minutes walk from the Mezquita and Roman bridge.

Everything about our stay was fabulous. Lisa and the rest of her staff went above and beyond throughout. From the initial welcome and check-in, to the three-course breakfasts, everything was beautifully presented, exquisite in every detail and thoroughly explained. No stone was left unturned. The building itself dates from the 15th century and has been so thoughtfully and sympathetically renovated, retaining original walls and features where possible, but incorporating something of an industrial chic about the new works with exposed brick and metal work, steel beams and also managing to install a decent sized plunge pool on the terrace area. This offset by the whole place being full of charming little ornaments, paintings, books and objects of interest but very tastefully done in earth tones that bring a relaxed feeling of calm when you're there. Our room was in what they call 'the heavens' and it was huge by usual hotel standards with a massive and superbly comfortable bed, and without doubt the only decent pillows I've ever been given in a hotel and the bathroom is a good size with a great shower and a proper full size bath. Between Lisa and her husband Jose, they can feel justifiably proud of what is one of the nicest boutique hotels you could ever stay in, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

If I wanted to be really picky I could say the toiletries, while nice, were nothing special, but then I bring my own so it's not a big deal for me. Other than that, nothing, it was exceptional.

Jose, the host, was exceptional! He communicated effectively before and during our stay, and was always attentive to our needs. The breakfast he prepared was a true feast, made with locally sourced and healthy ingredients. We also had the easter brunch meal which was really special. We were delighted with our stay and highly recommend Jose's hospitality! The hotel itself is really unique and something very special. In location terms of the hotel is a very quite area around 10-15-minute walk from the centre of the old town. It's very accessible with bars, restaurants and cafes nearby. We couldn't fault it.
