All the staff members were very friendly, welcoming, generous and helpful. We wanted to go up a floor, and the staff arranged a room for us the next day without any problem. The food was of excellent quality. And the room is magical - we chose the room without air conditioning, the balcony is completely open, from which dozens of coconut trees and the sky can be seen. In the morning and in the evening we watched the monkeys come to eat from the coconut.

It's not something to improve - you just need to know that the hotel is located a little out of the way. There is a short climb to do. It can also be an advantage for those looking for quiet

We had an amazing 6 night stay at Jasper House. It was a short walk from the beach and so very quiet with beautiful coconut trees. Kasin, the manager, and staff are so kind and friendly. They always clean the place. During the stay, we visited several restaurants in this area including the famous one, but the Jasper House restaurant on the top floor was undoubtedly the best. We really enjoyed surfing here and will definitely stay at Jasper House nest time.

Like most other Sri Lanka hotel rooms our room was open air. There were mosquito attacks though Jasper House provided electric mosquito coil.

I had a big room with a huge comfortable emperor size bed with AC (that I did not use) a powerful shower, and - which was the cherry in the cake an almost private 20m pool right at my doorstep. The staff was extremely friendly. I was spoiled with great food any moment I felt like it on the vast rooftop space from where I looked out on a green space with coconut trees and the sea, driven to town to get cash, and given advice on what to do. The property is away from any street noise but 2’ walk to the reef surf spot. What a great place to be in Hiri.

in some areas there was a transitory issue with the WiFi. But who needs WiFi in such a place?

Absolutely stunning views of the palm trees in Hireketiya, outdoor shower is lovely also. Great four-poster bed with netting, and room was very spacious. The upstairs restaurant has amazing views. Staff were super helpful. Location is fantastic!

Breakfast could be more substantial, perhaps with a menu or a Sri Lankan traditional breakfast on offer? We had fried eggs on toast and offered fresh juice, which was delicious, but more choices would be great!

Unique room design with views and crosswinds. Good for our future climate. Conventional rooms are sealed boxes with no natural ventilation and wasteful AC. The pool is beautiful and a pleasure to swim in. Staff is personable and professional.

The staff couldn’t do enough for me. A special Mention for Chama who went above and beyond. The place felt very comfortable, simple but close to nature. Sitting in my room watching the monkeys in the trees was amazing. As was showering outdoors.

It would have been good to know the yoga classes weren’t available before I arrived.

Lovely boutique hotel with open air rooms. Great location only a 2 minute walk to the main beach of Hiriketiya. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool was refreshing and clean.

A small suggestion would be a fridge in the room to keep water and drinks cool.

Not as new or flash as some of the hotels in Hiriketiya but situated 60 seconds from the beach, with nice rooms, a great pool and fantastic staff. Yoga classes available and breakfast simple but perfect. Highly recommend.

They had a nice plunge pool. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had a good night's sleep on both days we were there.

We paid for the pool access room, but the door would not open from the room to the pool, which was slightly inconvenient.

The staff was very accommodating to all of our request. The other thing was that it was a bit up on the hill which was nice for the quiet. Some of the places closer to the main beach can be a bit loud and the walk isn't bad.
