Our stay at Crystal Resort was marked by stunning views from the deluxe double room overlooking the sea and clean and comfortable beds. Based on other feedback on this place, it seems like they also had made efforts to improve the hotel’s aesthetic, giving it a fresh paint stroke here and there. We also really enjoyed the adjacent restaurant, Verse, which had a great ambiance and breakfast. Dickwella beach itself was amazing with captivating sunsets (best enjoyed with a drink in hand from one of the many beach bars).

While the staff were professional, injecting a bit more personality into their interactions would have been welcomed. Communication sometimes felt a tad strained. And let's talk about those laminated notes scattered all over the room – unnecessary reminders for basic tasks. As for stapling signs onto every single palm tree surrounding the pool with lists of "dos and don'ts," it felt a bit excessive and took away from the relaxed vibe. We know that thrash goes into the bin.

The resort was perfectly situated right on the beach and the staff were exceptionally friendly. The pool was clean and well maintained and the whole resort felt very safe. The rooms were spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Everybody at the hotel treated us like friends from the reception staff, to the security and restaurant and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely return as it was a wonderful experience.

I liked the welcome ,the staff the location, it does need investing in though.. it could be the best for that price and location, just needs more love and inavation from owner!

The manager was very helpful and staff too, its 24h security but like a previous review we were told all valuables need to be put away when cleaning which felt concerning but this place is the most secure in dickwella shouldn't be told this at all ,but because of past issues i think there covering themselves...

Great value for money room is comfortable and very clean. bathroom is very clean and had everything you needed including 、good hot water air conditioner. If you request, you can receive free fruit pellets for breakfast. Everyone should ask the staff, mango, pineapple, banana, papaya, it's so delicious, I really like it. You can also get fresh fruit juice free. We have stayed here before and would definitely stay again .I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel .

The Hotel was found easily and is situated right next to a fabulous beach. A warm greeting from friendly and professional staff who helped with our bags and gave us a welcome drink. No problems checking in. A good room with clean sheets and towels. Lovely hot water and great water pressure in the bathroom. The AC worked well. The view from the balcony was fantastic. The beds were super comfortable and lots of choice on the TV. Beautiful swimming pool, nice and clean with some sunbeds scattered around. The breakfast was generous and delicious. Checking out was smooth, and the staff helped again with the bags. A few points after reading some reviews - There was no shower curtain, but a drain in the floor(wet room) - so all the splashed water soaked away very quickly. The sheets and towels were not new, but they were clean, fresh, and perfectly usable. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, with very helpful stall. It was worth the money.

There were some marks on the floor of the room, after we informed the staff, this was cleaned very quickly. The bath had no plug, so we improvised.

The reason is that it is very secure and trustworthy. The hotel manager helped me with a lot of things. Spacious room in excellent location near the best swimming section of the beach. Can also easily walk into Hiriiketiya., excellent sea view and balcony. Bed and pillows good. And plenty of hot water. Nice pool.

Tv not working, towels like sand paper electrical sockets a bit dodgy and air conditioning leaked water.

What an amazing place. Paradise beach with white sand and tranquil sea to swim and surfing in hirikatiya beach. Beautiful place for relaxing and nourishing stay. Friendly service without being fussy. The staff is great, rooms are very comfortable and clean and the newly upgradeed pool is incredible. We will definitely come back again...........
