We stay at Shenvalee 4-6 times a year. This was the first time in the rooms by the pool. Loved the room except Toliet placement. Had a great meal at Millers and the bed was comfortable and love the pillows and towels. I had forgotten shampoo and the girl at the desk gave me some which i appreciated. We love the place.

The plastic toliet bowl seat slid around when you sat on it and almost caused an issue with falling and the toliet was so close to the wall made things difficult. The tv stations had a message say they were sorry but the was difficulty sending a signal and to contact the company and most channels were pixilated. Not really Shenvalee’s fault. We had wanted to enjoy the pool but a child was screaming and throwing a pool floaty as his parents were enjoying adult beverages. A lot of it is me being picky but after traveling for 12 hours I was tired. Sadly this was not my favorite visit. Looking forward to the next visit in a couple of weeks

My fiance uses a cane so getting a second floor room without an elevator was a challenge. There was a VERY NOISY LOUD PARTY in the parking lot Friday night that were out of control and disturbing everyone in the hotel; I recommend you have security patrol and keep things like this from happening. There are NOT enough electrical outlets in the room; you should add more!

Beautiful location and rooms!

We had issues with checking in. They said Booking.com canceled our room, and they didn't have anything else available! Turned us away. We had just traveled 4 hrs to get there and was devistated. We contacted Booking.com, who confirmed that they did NOT cancel anything. They spoke to the receptionist and suddenly found us a room.Not the view we intended, but still a relief we were not stranded.

everything the beds were comfy great pillows. everything was super clean and the bed linen and towels were fluffy and smelt clean. The restaurant had great very reasonable priced food We ate breakfast there every morning. Great pool we were in everyday and the water smelt clean We loved the location and our room had a balcony and we sat out there everyday and watched the golfers and the view was beautiful. We felt that we had great value for our money. would recommend

No elevator I have bad knees but the view was worth alittle pain

My room was clean and had a nice view out to the golf course.

The rooms have been renovated nicely but the walls are paper thin so you can hear conversations of the people in the room next to you. The Grille charged me $2.75 for a soda water. When I questioned it they said anything coming from the soda fountain is charged. I’m not sure if actual sodas cost the same or more but I have never been charged for a soda water off the fountain. of course if it’s a bottle or can, I understand that, but not the fountain.

The balcony, the view of the mountains.. room was a good size. Bed was comfortable.

There wasn't a microwave in the room..the shower head needed to be cleaned.. the noise for all of the men on their golf trip...even listening to them was entertaining.

This place is a hidden gem! we loved the Mountain View and balcony from our room and the high ceilings! It is not super fancy but it is clean, comfy & so charming! we loved the restaurant too as you can order anything you want as they are listed as sides. the view from the restaurant is awesome from anywhere you sit as well. The location is great as right next to Luray Caverns and the entrance to famous scenic drive through the mountain tops! This will be a stop on our drives to Florida from Boston. We will definitely go back! @GreenScreenGal

The pool side room was very comfortable and clean. The check-in process was smooth and easy.

The restaurant on the property served mediocre food that you could probably make at home and it would taste much better. The bartender was fantastic and made me a great margarita alternative when they ran out of triple sec.

Location and view. Liked that I could park my car right outside my room.

The bed was not comfortable and the grounds keeper running the leaf blower on the golf course.

The room was great, nicely apportioned and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. For a relatively last-minute booking, the price was very fair for the area. It's small in that you aren't wrestling through a lobby of people to get your check-in which was nice, almost a boutique feel despite being on the grounds of a golf course with a fleet of carts apparently. I am not a golfer, stayed because we were sightseeing around Shenandoah County, and I would go back again.

Older pipes sometimes had some drainage problems but nothing two minutes of maintenance couldn't fix. A reminder to all: don't flush anything weird into a toilet. We didn't, but I suspect someone did.
