There are about 50 beds in the dormitory and when I first saw that I was a little worried but it was unbelievably quiet. Quieter than some 4 bed dorms I’ve stayed in. Bed spaces were roomy with a shelf, curtain, power, light, hanger, and towel rail. Clean towels were provided every day. You get a small combination lock locker and there is storage for bigger bags. There is a very small kitchen with a cooker so it is possible to cook but only really feasible for one person so probably best to plan not to. There is also a microwave, kettle and fridge. Bathrooms were clean and although shared with a lot of guests there was never an issue with availability. Breakfast was very good, with a huge variety of food and drinks. I also really liked the system of having an ‘occupied’ card that you place on a table before getting your breakfast. This ensured that you have a place to sit once you have your food, although the dining room is very large so it would have to be exceptionally busy for there to be a shortage of tables. The location was great, walking distance from the train station and ferry terminal (assuming you can walk 20 min) and close to shops and restaurants.
Bed space didn’t have individual fan or ventilation so i did feel a bit warm at times with the curtain closed.

Even though the dorm has a lot of capsule beds it was pretty quiet as people kept the volume down (still recommend ear plugs). The capsules itself were really spacious with spaces to hang clothes/towels and the light's dimmable. There are lockers for every bed and enough place storage room for luggage (even luggage locks). They offered necessary shower/toilet amenities and the bathrooms were clean. I liked the little kitchen and their extensive manga library as well as the lounge/coffee area on the second floor. Washing machine/dryer worked amazing and it doesn't even need detergent!
Not really a downer but as someone who doesn't speak Japanese fluently the washing machine instructions were a bit tough to understand, even with translation.

Surprisingly decent hotel for a very reasonable price. Spacious room w/ comfy bed, separate bathroom and toilet, nespresso pod machine for easy morning coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is good, very close to covered shopping streets & restaurants. 15ish minute walk to Ritsurin garden. There's no parking onsite but they have a deal with the marui kame multi story parking lot about 150m down the road, wasn't too much trouble to park there, might have thought otherwise if it was raining though.
The breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing. At first glance it seems like a good spread, but all the popular items/dishes were frequently empty and the staff were very slow to replace them, usually they had to be asked. There's also no heat lamps or anything for the hot food so it was all cold unless a fresh dish had just been out out.

Modern place, well functioning and close to some very interesting spots in the city. The staff was very helpful to find places to eat some local dishes and recommending places to visit. They were knowledgeable of the city and nice. The room was small and cozy, the best bed I had slept on.
It a bit far from the station, so it should be kept in mind if you are on foot that there is a 30/40 minutes to walk. Unfortunately many of the hotels in japan have a very high pillow which in the long run messes a bit with your spine getting a wrong curve, I slept better with a towel under the neck.

The room design is very good, with a corridor separating the bedroom and living room. After the children go to bed, adults can also move around in the living room without affecting their sleep. The toilet and bathroom are separated, which is very hygienic. In the shared location on the 10th floor, in addition to the usual hotel washing machines and vending machines, there are comics to borrow and a kitchen.
It is a bit inconvenient to get to and from the hotel. You have to take the escalator with your suitcase. It is dangerous if you carry several pieces of luggage at the same time.

- great location - the room was actually much larger than I expected - the breakfast is amazing - this was probably the best buffet breakfast I have had while staying in the hotel and I do that a lot - the option not to get your room cleaned every day was a nice touch - pleasant and helpful staff - almost unbeatable price/value ratio
- I would prefer to have my own settings for the AC in the room, but that is just a minor detail (the temperature is centrally controlled).

Not too far from the station. Every bed has 2 hangers and is equipped storage area. There is a double door to get to the kitchen, vending machine and washing machine + drier, which reduces the noise from outside. The fridge was equipped with pen+paper+tape in case you need to leave your food or drinks. The staff was very kind when asked for information about the area around.
The smoking room is through the kitchen, and despite the good ventilation system you could smell the smoke every time that door is opened while you're eating in the kitchen. Also, besides not being able to get in through the double door without the card, you also cannot get out - it makes you not forget the card, but it's also a bit annoying when your hands are full of toiletries.

Good location: a little far from Takamatsu Station & the port area, but you can hop a bus easily. As well, the place is right next to some shopping & dining arcades, which meant I could explore the hubbub of Saturday night social events. Bed areas were comfortable & large enough even for tall people, with an adjustable light inside. The common area had a fridge, microwave & hangout spaces for small groups to gather too. Free manga collection on each floor! It’s all in Japanese so foreign tourists might not be able to use it, but it’s still a unique touch and you can still enjoy it if you’re a manga fan. Coin laundry was really helpful for backpackers like me who have to carry their used clothes with them, and the staff were very helpful!
There were some guests who were a little bit loud even late at night, but even so, that isn’t the hotel’s fault. Also, the steps for the upper pods are in front of the entrance for the lower pods, so if you’re in a lower pod you should mind your head as you exit.

The location is fairly close to the train station and the port. It is clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. The capsule was comfortable and spacious. I would stay here again. I loved the view from the top floors of the hotel.
The bed would creak a bit when I moved and also there was no locker or anything for my suitcase, so I had to leave it in the storage area close to the capsule - to me, this was not a big deal, but in comparison with other capsule hotels I was surprised.

My husband stayed here for 3 nights. He stayed at dormitory area and he was very satisfied with it. Also the staff in hotel were very helpful for everything. His SIM card had a problem during his stay, and he needed to be helped by them. The problem was SIM card and a staff gave him a router, it was very helpful. Thank you so much for this generous help!!!
He didn't mention about the negative part. He compared the same kind of hotel at Kobe, and he really liked here much better than the others.
