Convenient location in Roodepoort next to Eagle Canyon Golf Estate. Friendly and accommodating staff. You get what you pay for, the unit is rather basic but has all necessities for a comfortable stay. Main criticism was that the shower water was mostly cold and would periodically oscillate between extremely hot and freezing. Practice your Wim Hof breathing!

Everything except for the bar fridges in the rooms

I didn't like the way our host Asthon for booking arrangements, firstly I booked for 5ppl and when I added 1 person he booked a 2 sleeper that makes us HV an 8 sleeper for 6 ppl.Next time he book the PPL rooms suitable for the number of PPL than making us pay a lot of money unnecessary . Garden chairs,braai stands I think you should add more because if you are if you are fully booked is going to be a problem

The facilities were perfect for my requirements, the staff were the perfect hosts and the proximity to Eagle Canyon was ideal.

My only comments would be; to please address the consistent sound of what I can only assume is plumbing 'hammering' during the night and if bright security lights are necessary right outside the rooms, please have block-out curtains. Lastly as a coffee snob, please consider a bean to cup or nespresso / Lavazza machine in the common area.

The kindness of staff, neatness of property. The respect of boundaries, the free drinking water bottles. I felt save all the time. It was beyond what I expected.

I know this is beyond the owners and staff. Just would like to use wifi while loadshedding. A UPS Battery for a computer will cost less than R1000 to keep the wifi on during loadshedding. The area has bad connection when loadshedding is implemented and no signal is coming through so you can only twiddle thumbs or play games offline games on phone.

The room was very clean. Staff were super friendly. The reason for my stay was an exam. Eagle Cove was 4 minutes away from my exam location. I was also able to get a good nights rest before the exam. There were no loud noises at night. We experienced loadshedding during my stay. Had power the whole time.

The only issue I had was that the shower was cold after loadshedding. Took quite a while to warm up.

Clean, Comfortable nicely located , Beds were specifically comfortable.Rates were good. Room was exactly what we needed for our overnight stay.

The Guesthouse advertises itself as self catering, kitchen facilities are available but they are in the reception building. Other then Coffee and Tea and a small fridge there is no utensils or cutlery in the rooms. This means that if you plan to cook anything you have to cart it over to reception an eat in the dining room or if you intend to eat anything you need to fetch utensils. Not a huge thing but something I think guests would like to know especially if they are staying a few days.

Place was nice and simple but fully covered all my needs, Zanele the housekeeper made sure we were sorted on all our service requests. Breakfast was not provided but considering i was advised well in advance i was well prepared.

Power kept tripping on one of the nights but Zanele the Housekeeper tried all she could to correct the situation.

The staff were welcoming and friendly . Zanele went out of her eay to make it even better.

Some noisy guests late at night . The water temp fluctuated constantly, rather unpleasant showers....

No breakfast offered at the venue. Venue in general was quiet and peaceful, neat and very professional but unfortunately in a too much of a 'business-like' surrounding.

We understand and celebrate the issue of development and expansion but the 'still-busy-with-construction' look sapped some joy from the overall lovely experience.

Die diens was baie goed. Ons het gegaan om na netbal te kyk en die persoon aan diens was so gaaf om selfs die span se sportklere te was. Natuurlik vir vergoeding. Maar ons het haar tyd in beslag geneem. Dit is baie rustig en stil in die omgewing. Skoon en netjies. Sal dit regtig vir ander aanbeveel.
