The location on the Randpark Golf Course is simply breathtaking! You’ll be treated to a stunning view of the chipping green, and the mornings are especially peaceful. The breakfast was fantastic, and the room was spacious and stylish.

The accommodation was so close to perfection that it was unfortunate that minor details were overlooked, such as the presence of mold at the base of the walls in the shower. The door made a terrible noise when closing, which could easily be fixed with a Q20 spray. The large king-size bed wasn’t ideal for two people in that the smallest movements on one side were felt on the other. It’s unfortunate that there’s no option for twin beds, which we always prefer when travelling. Also, plug points were not easily accessible.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay for her birthday, the room was comfortable clean and quiet. My wife enjoyed her spa treatments at the spa.

The one thing we did not enjoy was our breakfast the following morning the food and service was good. However we did not appreciate some guest who thought it was acceptable to attend breakfast barefoot and in their pyjamas in the designated restaurant. Additionally there were to many small children misbehaving at breakfast. Management should proactively address instances of guests attending breakfast in unsuitable attire and implement effective measures to manage disruptive behaviour from children.

I loved the beauty of the hotel, its cleanliness, the spa services and the staff at the spa. I also experienced great service from the receptionists at check in and check out. However, one staff member who stood out for me was Lobone who escorted me to the room, his service was truly amazing. I loved the facilities aswell (the pool and the gym area). The food was also amazing, the Chefs know what they are doing.

I did not like the waiters services at the restaurant and this occurred in all occasions, during my lunchtime, dinner and breakfast. There is no one to welcome and sit us down and when we sit ourselves no one pays attention to you, the other waiters keep passing your table, no one asks if you have been assisted. I had to go and approach one of them to ask for someone to serve us. They told us we have to enter through a certain door so that we can be seen, however that does not make sense because we enter through the door that comes from the hotel rooms because we have booked a stay and they want us to go around and use the one from the reception. The waiters do not pay attention at all and they are so unfriendly.

The hotel is just off the beaten track to have a nice stay, but it is close enough to the Republic road to quickly get around! The rooms are quiet and there is a restaurant onsite. Most of the rooms face the fairway, and there are villas on the Northside. If you prefer sa he a way from home.

The hotel needs some kids' activities for the kids... Like a mini golf setup of the kids to play.

The tranquility of the whole place was amazing 😍, had a great experience. Will definitely be back. Mosquitos came out to play in our room, so many of them. I asked for doom and thank goodness they had, we had a good and peaceful sleep😀

I don't know if all their rooms are Paraplegic designed but the one I was allocated seemed like a paraplegic one, everything low but it's the shower that I really didn't enjoy. I love and prefer the shower head from the top. I wish I could have been asked during check in, whether it's okay or not to be allocated that room.

I stayed in fairway about 9 years ago on 2 trips to SA. Went back due to how good it was. Good to see it's been properly maintained to a great extent after all this while. Staff is friendly, especially one of the guys at the front office. Can't remember his name now. He was so hospitable and showed a lot of concern to get us checked in when we arrived, seeing that our flight arrived before the "official check in time". We felt very welcome by him.

Bathrooms need some work. Black mould in the shower and residual dirt in the sinks, just beneath the rims were quite disgusting 🤢 and a huge turnoff for me. The bathrooms do need some attention and really takes away from an otherwise positive experience. This is the only reason I would be reluctant to go back!

This hotel is outstanding. After visits to the USA, Panama or Europe, this can clearly be described as follows: Rating 10 out of 10 possible points. The entire staff is empathetic, honest, exemplary in their dealings, attentive and helpful beyond measure. Such a service to people (and to hotel guests) was previously unknown to me and this gave me (positively!) a lot to think about. The hotel management is to be congratulated on this staff, because the staff is the heart of a hotel. A special thanks to the general manager Mr. Tim for the pleasant exchange in the lobby. It was my first visit to South Africa and I will be back in 2024 due to the staff experienced at the hotel. (Room 225 - 08/20/2023 - 09/01/2023)

I arrived at the property at 4PM and check in time is 2PM. Upon arrival, i found that our rooms were mixed up and had to wait for about 45mins for our rooms to be sorted out. I watched the staff at reception helping clients that arrived after us while we sat, waiting for our rooms to be sorted out....BAD CLIENT EXPERIENCE. On the other hand, the cleaning service was great. Special thank you to Zama, the lady that kept our rooms clean. She was very friendly, professional and made sure that we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

The fact that our accommodation was mixed up and had to be inconvenienced as a result of somebody's not doing their job well.

The hotel was an excellent choice. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance at the entrance and within the hotel was pleasant. The rooms were spacious, neat, and clean. However, the beds and especially the pillows could use an upgrade. Additionally, the balcony was not properly cleaned. One suggestion is to allocate specific parking spots for hotel guests. During my stay, there was a wedding, and the parking lot was full, forcing me to park far from the entrance. Overall, it's a good hotel in a great location.

A big thank you to hospitality, Selene Reddy, Grace Kobe, Yvonne and the rest of the staff for making our wedding anniversary a memorable one to remember. They have been remarkable in the setting up of our stay at the hotel. Our cleaner Zamo was amazing and she was so good in everything. The extra mile the hotel went to accommodate us with the delicious dinners, relaxing Spa treatments, amazing breakfast has captured our hearts and that we will definitely return. Everyone in the hotel were helpful, kind, friendly and very patient. Will definitely be back. My husband has fallen Inlove with room 218 and on our next visit I'm gona book the same room over again. Keep up the good work and team spirit Fairway Hotel. Well Done!
