This was a lovely little gem of a place and we are so pleased we found it! In a lovely part of town too, we felt very welcome, the staff were all wonderful. Breakfast was great and the rooms were spotless. We saw whales within the first 10 mins of arriving! Lovely view from our room and saw whales from our window. Such a gorgeous town with so many lovely shops and restaurants and a market. Lovely people and just adored the vibe and energy of the place. The people of Hermanus are proud, and so they should be! It’s one of our favourite places in South Africa. We will definitely be back!! Thank you!

A very nice room with a magnificent view on the ocean.

Access to the protected compound was not easy, we spent 15' just getting into the hotel lobby. Nobody answered the backdoor which was supposed to be the entrance from the car park. No facilities to put our luggage on, suitcases and bags on the floor. The elevator was intended for use by people with restrictions only. The staff were friendly but their answers were not very helpful.

7 on Marine is a fantastic boutique hotel perfectly located just steps from the center of Hermanus and directly across from the Tidal Pool. The location offers both convenience and stunning ocean views, making it ideal for exploring the area. The staff are exceptionally attentive, ensuring every need is met with warmth and professionalism. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, with luxurious touches that make for a truly relaxing stay. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hermanus!

Just had a really nice 2 night stay at 7 on Marine, Hermanus. The property is beautifully furnished and the views are out of this world. The wether was quite rough during our stay which resulted in our whale watching cruise being cancelled but we still managed to see quite a few including on our last day from our bedroom balcony. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast delicious. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting these parts.

Stunning view of the sea. Great location, beautiful walking trails around the sea front, about 800 metres to the main sea front area, stunning room with balcony. Staff were great, when we went sea kayaking made us omelettes and coffee even though breakfast had officially ended twenty minutes before. Can’t fault the place would happily return.

There is plenty of secure car parking but some of the spaces are very tight.

Excellent breakfast upstairs. The location is right on the ocean and you can walk to a fun restaurant called Fick's across the street. Jacuzzi, Sauna in the courtyard was nice The Staff was friendly, helpful and kind.

The only comment for me is that the Shower has transparent glass, meaning when you take a shower, you can see the person inside. My brother and I shared a room and it was somewhat awkward. I would recommend changing that.

I would not say that this is something I do not like, but rather that it is a consideration. It is in a higher price bracket and I am not sure that it is quite on track there. For example, the fridge in the room had just two bottles of water and it was not cold.

Very high standard on the rooms, interior, and especially the staff. The staff was very positiv and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Small place which made it very personal and quiz. Breakfast was delightfull. Parking. Good WiFi. Mant TV channels. Walking distance to most things. Very nice restaurant just across the street where we had morning swim.

Did not have breakfast. Location was great. Would have loved to stay another night. Nothing lacking really. This will certainly be our preferred choice for Hermanus. We will be back!

As is the case with offering guests a choice between single beds as opposed to a double bed, you may want to consider informing guests in your product description of the 'open' shower. There are people who do not really like this.

Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. I loved the starter brekkie and loved the maize meal surprise.

More staff was needed at breakfast - took too long to turnaround. we waiting almost an hour for food and my coffee as an example was forgotten on the counter, so when I reminded the gent, it was served cold. also need a microwave in that area
