We were warmly checked in and all the amenities of the room and property explained to us. We got a beautiful and clean room in the ground floor. The linen was well cleaned and we got all the amenities refilled every day. They do beautiful towel art in the room. There is a good collection of books for readers. The swimming pool is clean and hygienic. Lots of parking spaces. Fully monitored by cctvs this property is safe and in the walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping centres. We didn't get to meet the owners but we want to thank you for always being there over the wats app.They have extra blankets,pillows every thing in the room. The staff is so well trained and helpful.For the price paid..we got the best. The breakfast buffet was huge, portions are good and extremely delicious. Thank you to the whole team of 6 stemmet lodge.

I stayed overnight for my son's school hockey tour. The tour was postponed due to the storm & I needed to change my original date. The property was friendly, understanding & accommodating. The whole process was quick & easy which was appreciated. The staff were very friendly. At check-in the hostess walked me to my room & helped me carry my bags. The room was big with a walk in closet, a big bathroom, a mini fridge & microwave even though it's not self catering. Very cute winter socks were provided for the evening & an electric blanket. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Close to town centre & shops. All round an amazing experience. Many thanks to the staff. I'll definitely return.

The room was very well-appointed, with everything perfectly in place and plenty of thoughtful details that I kept discovering throughout the night. The hidden bathroom behind what appeared to be a wardrobe was a lovely surprise. The room even had socks for the winter and an electric blanket, adding extra comfort. Though I’m not usually a fan of pre-prepared breakfasts, the early morning meal exceeded expectations and lacked nothing. The location was safe, with restaurants nearby, and the staff member who attended us was very helpful and nice.

The proximity to town was excellent, just a short walk away. The fleece socks were a great idea, we were both soaked as we arrived during the storm & made good use of them! Electric blanket was also nice. The room was well equipped. The power was out for a full day due to the storm, but the staff arranged to boil some water for me on their gas stove. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable. The pancakes at breakfast were delicious!

Although I enjoyed the breakfast, my husband prefers a full cooked breakfast. Apart from that, we can't fault Stemmet Lodge and would choose to stay there again.

We only spent one night here as we were flying home the following evening but we would have been very happy to stay longer. Lovely, spacious, tastefully decorated studio. Quiet location & an easy walk to the centre of Hermanus or the coastal path. The staff were excellent - warm, friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast was great - lots of choice - I particularly appreciated the gluten free bread. We would love to return to Hermanus during the whale season & stay at 6 Stemmet Lodge.

Our 2nd time here. Had same room as before. Great for couple nights. More than that perhaps a bigger room woud be better..5 mins into town on foot. No reflection on stennet lodge of course but Hermanus has become mega expensive. Having lived near Hermanus and shopped eaten and had drinks for 20 years previously we cant beleive we find it more expensive than Capetown. So anyone on a tight budget may struggle. Stennete lodge 10. 10.

Nothing to dislike

Great location, cozy atmosphere and lovely staff! The lodge is located close to the city centre of Hermanus, to the coast walk, the Fernkloof Reserve, petrol stations, grocery stores and so on. The property itself is nicely set up. Sustainability is highly valued here and it were the small details that made our stay great. The staff was really friendly and accommodating, too.

Room was very clean, and an electric blanket, and slipper socks were provided to keep warm! Shower water was steaming hot, and I enjoyed the tea/coffee facilities. All was in perfect order.

I would have preferred to select my full breakfast from a menu, as opposed to the lovely staff bringing me more than I could eat! It was wonderful that they were so generous, but too much for me.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. The location is very good within a five-minute walk of the beach. And the town centre the room was very comfortable, large and bright with a small outdoor seating area which caught the sun every day. We are both vegetarian and were very happy with the options for breakfast. The staff were very helpful and and made our stay very pleasant

very friendly and warm welcome it was clean and we had a nice room with garden view the breakfast was a surprise, in addition to cereals and toast we had fresh fruits, mini pan cakes and other egg/avo choices etc. very good location, walking distance to the waterfront perfect for 1-2 nights
