We stayed in the cottage, which was great. Good views of the lake, basics were all provided, comfy bed, well well equipped. Loved our daily visits from the owners dog.

Fly screens would be handy in summer as we like sleeping with windows open rather than air conditioning.

Absolutely fabulous hosting from Christina and Stephen . Wonderful evening meals created by Christina and the hosts are fabulous company to dine with along with any fellow guests who wisely decide to eat in house.Breakfast also a treat Surroundings glorious!

This place was better than expected, super clean, tidy, comfortable and all the creature comforts had been thought of and provided. Loved all the products supplied in the bathroom! Snd don’t get me started on the shower! Great pressure. The beds were very comfy dnd the electric blankets were a nice touch. Plus… there’s a disco spa! Fun lights and bubbles! Great way to end the day. Thank you Christina x

An exceptional breakfast. Amazing peaceful, serene location. Relaxing hot tub! Hosts were welcoming, attentive and friendly. We would definitely recommend this place!

Could not fault it. The location was amazing with a superb view. Could easily have stayed a week or more. We paid for a breakfast on our second day which was absolutely delicious. Hosts were welcome and friendly.

Lovely country lodge in a beautiful location very close to Kinloch, and a 15 minute drive from Taupo. Friendly and welcoming hosts, with comfortable bed and homely room. Despite being in their house, we definitely had our own space. Breakfast was excellent - cereals/fruit, croissant with jams and a tasty cooked breakfast pastry. Would definitely recommend!

It wasn’t an issue for us as we love dogs, but we had a particularly friendly welcome from the family Labrador which may make some guests feel uncomfortable.

Christina and Stephen are great hosts! We really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful place, the little nice details everywhere, the fantastic view to Lake Taupo and the amazing starry sky you can admire from outside. The breakfast that Christina served was so delicious. We would have loved to stay longer!

We stayed in the separate cottage, and it was wonderful. Clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The location was stunning and very quiet and peaceful.

A unique experience. Great location for a restful family break and close to the Kinloch golf course. Good shower after the golf! Excellent hosts and meal. Beautiful garden and lake sunsets.

There was less emphasis on technology and wifi which was the point of the break! Bonus for some.
