Very good breakfast! Location next to the bus stop, and just few meters from the promenade. The kitchen, bathroom and facilities were modern and nicely maintained. Complete set of extras (sewing kit, razor, toothpaste and toothbrush etc.) on arrival - very nice touch!

Room we got was located just in front of the railroad (and I mean it IN FRONT, like 3 meters away!!) You can hear each train passing despite closed windows. The place provides the earplugs though - so noise level can be tamed a little. The room door is not sound insulated either - so you can hear very very well everything that is happening in the common areas and in the corridor - again solvable with earplugs. A little bit outside the center, but that is not an issue - Montreux is not that big anyways.

Good place to stay with a bus stop few steps from the hotel, making it easy to sightsee. Staff was courteous. Has a pool table, and game station to keep kids engaged. Adequate breakfast was included and you have a coffee machine and fruits in the kitchen which you can access anytime. We had booked a family room for the 4 of us and its quite big.

While it may have been an oversight on our part, the hotel lists a family room with a shared bathroom. We wrongly assumed that the bathroom would be for us alone, which is not the case. The bath is good with a hot tub etc, and since we were in the low season, there were not too many people around. But we usually book rooms with private bathrooms since there are 4 of us. So a bit uncomfortable with that. But again, we probably didn't read it right. Another thing is there is no elevator. We had quite a bit of luggage and so had to get it up to the 2nd floor to the rooms. So if u travel heavy, might need to think abt that.

This is a nice little budget b&b very well located, close to the lake and good transport connection (or easy walking distance) to everything. You can see that the owner is working very hard to make their guests comfortable. Good breakfast Free laundry facilities. Lovely young lady at the reception.

The studio on the ground floor needs a better clean. The tiles in the shower were yellow -ish and moldy and the doors of the kitchen cabinets had spots all over. I gave it a quick rub with the kitchen sponge and the dishwashing liquid, and it was a huge improvement. A proper clean will turn it into a lovely budget studio. And those chairs need to be replaced:)

The family room was comfortable. The hosts were nice and helpful. It was very close to the beautiful lakefront promenade.

The entrance to the building wasn't exactly impressive or welcoming. 1st impressions are important and our first impression was not good. We knew we had a private bathroom, but did not realize it was not attached to the room, but across the common hallway. We had to use an old-fashioned key to lock/unlock the door when we needed to use the bathroom. It was a little inconvenient to have to remember to take (sometimes locate) the key. The room in the photos looked twice as long as the room in actuality. It was a good size room, but I was expecting it to be much bigger. The breakfast is great; no complaints there! The train is literally about 5 feet from the room. It didn't bother us at all by day, but at night, it did wake you up at times.

This is my spot for stay when I'm in Montreux. It requires a walk from the train station, but since the route goes along with the lake side promenade, I used to enjoy this walk a lot. It is close to everything, and if someone is not suitable for long walks, there is a bus station very close to the property. I could get the same room that I stayed before, so I could feel myself a bit home. Breakfast is very nice, I could get all the options that I needed (can't take sweets). The lake is very near. I'll definitely come back here when I'll be in Montreux again.

Nestling in the Ave de la Riviera, this lovely guest house was the perfect distance from downtown to provide a quiet calm. It also has an exit on the Ave du Casino. The hostess was cheerful, and immensely helpful (and sported a Liverpool FC shirt...!). I had forgotten the way to my room when she helpfully guided me back there, and helpfully took a photo of the door. The breakfast was sumptuous - one can't go wrong with that breakfast. Each occupant is provided with a earplugs to block out the noise from the train. However, I did not notice any train noise anyhow. The property and the room was sparkling clean. I did not happen to notice car parking areas, but walked to the premises, so I was not discomfited by it.

Nothing serious, but a working coffee maker in the room (with coffee) would be really really helpful for the travellers from across the pond.

The guest house is a beautiful old building. We arrived an hour early for check in, and owner wasn't there, but the gentleman who greeted us was very friendly and told us all about the surrounding area. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated. The train tracks were not too close and didn't cause any issue for us. We were lucky to share a bathroom with only one other room which was empty at the time, so we had the bathroom for ourselves.

Bathroom outside the room, even though we didn't share, was a bit inconvinient and unusual in a hotel.

For access to the waterfront, the location of the B&B was very convenient. Although we walked to the B&B from the train station, we were carrying backpacks, which made the walk doable. I wouldn't want to do it with luggage. The breakfast was excellent. The kitchen was well stocked for our purposes.

The building was older than expected from the photos. The train ran on a rail right outside our window. Our outdoor space was partially walled in due to the train location, and it was not a place where I would have wanted to spend time.

Very nice place to stay instead of Geneva. Easy train ride to Montreux from GVA, ~10 minute walk from train station. Room was very comfortable for 2 parents and one adult child. Proprietor and staff very friendly, gave us a fun tip for dinner (the Museum), and helped us get situated when we showed up early (stowed bags and went to see the castle on the water). Some epic hikes above Montreux, easily accessible from the B&B, and often you can take the funicular down--the Montreux-les-Planches station is very close. Epic jetted hot tub in shower room. My family says breakfast was very good (I left very early for a hike to Rocher de Naye, and we were there only one night).

Room had minimal view. For our room, toilets were shared. Bathing room was also shared, but it did have the huge tub.

Clean and bright throughout. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed.

Opportunities for improvement. 1) No-one in the office when I arrived. A notice said if no-one there call phone number x. On doing so, the person I talked to appeared from the hotel entrance, saying I could have rung the office doorbell - which presumably rings in the hotel. Suggest adding wording to try the doorbell to the notice in the office window. 2) There was no mention of the free Montreux Riviera pass when I checked in, and it's not mentioned anywhere in the hotel info in Booking.com - that I could see. It was only the following morning when I asked another member of staff that I discovered the hotel does offer it. This is valuable free benefit that should.be better advertised. Another accommodation i stayed at had it printed off and gave it to everyone when they checked in.
