I thought the prices for food and drink were far too high. Prices for drinks were more than double to what we had paid in our whole three week trip. Also the restaurant only offered us a set menu fir dinner which was a tasting menu at 40 euros each which again was too high - there should have been an alternative as we did not want a very large meal.

The stuff Italian holiday dreams are made of! The property was absolutely gorgeous. We loved eating in the restaurant but we also thought the pizzeria amongst the olive trees was just magical. Super relaxing to spend the afternoon by the beautiful pool with a spritz. The staff were all lovely, especially Tania at breakfast! Would love to return one day.

Not the hotel’s fault at all, but it might be good to have some signage at the pool with some polite requests (e.g. requesting no shouting, no cannon balling) as occasionally the behaviour of some guests at the pool did rather disrupt the peaceful and relaxing ambiance of the location.

The property is stunning. We booked a family suite, and it was perfect. Very spacious and lovely. And, very comfortable. The restaurant was great. We ate dinner there both nights of our stay. The breakfast was wonderful with many options, and the outdoor dining area is beautiful as is their indoor restaurant. The staff is gracious and very accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Nothing I didn’t like

The property itself is stunning, the pool and rooms beautiful. The breakfast is amazing.

Guests should have first option to dine onsite, given that a transfer to Ostuni can cost 150euro for a 5km trip. We were told that the restaurant was completely booked out for dinner, disappointing after spending a beautiful day out. Only after pleading with front desk staff were we able to have a limited menu and seating provided. Thank you Valeria! Dinner options onsite not detailed enough by hotel on checkin or at any time during our 3 day stay.

beautiful bedrooms and location amongst lovely fields of olive trees and wild flowers, about 15- 20 minutes drive from Ostuni and a stunning pool ( which sadly couldn’t use as rainy when we there)

I so much wanted to love this place as it’s is so gorgeous but 2 things to mention - the welcome wasn’t as good as expected ( and slightly understaffed on the 3 nights we were there so rustling up a drink pre dinner was tricky) and the fact that the only choice for dinner was a €50 fixed price 6/7 course dinner that wasn’t in our opinion all that tasty or interesting ( though I can see others disagree). If the hotel offered some a la carte or some wider choices of eg salad and pasta I would come again - but not otherwise ( or perhaps for just one night ). Breakfasts were fine

We loved every minute of our stay. From the moment we walked through your doors, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth, elegance, and genuine hospitality. What truly stood out was the staff's commitment to ensuring that every aspect of our stay was perfect. We spent 12 nights at Masseria le Carrube and will be back next year again. Ps: Please try the pizza during your stay, it’s truly amazing!

Formerly an olive farm - 700 years old - still surrounded by olive trees, Masseria Le Carrube was so rustic and full of charm, its whitewashed walls and flat, boxy buildings, draped with bright bougainvilleas, a gorgeous oasis set amongst the olive grove. It also has a couple of crystal clear pool with plenty of comfy day beds and chairs to relax on. It felt so good to finally plunge into some cool water after all the hot weather we were having. We were treated to an incredible vegetarian feast, dining in the hotel’s award-winning vegetarian restaurant. Seated in a beautiful courtyard draped with grape vines, we were given a tasting menu - the food in lots of little courses. It was delizioso!! We even got to meet the chef! Stepping into our breakfast room in the morning was like walking into the pages of a Vogue Living magazine. Everything was in cute little baskets and jars with handwritten brown paper labels tied on with string. It was just beautiful (and tasted good too!) Our room was so stylish and modern-rustic with a comfy bed and we had our own private little courtyard with orange trees and colourful bougainvilleas. This property far exceeded our expectations on all levels! The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. I would highly recommend a stay!

The only thing I didn’t like was that we hadn’t booked a longer stay!

The team members were exceptional. The room was clean, comfortable and plenty of space. I could have stayed for days and used it as a base for travelling around. Breakfast was included and just amazing . The vegetarian restaurant for dinner was a pleasant surprise. Loved everything about it .

Can’t fault it.

We loved the style and character of the stunning Masseria le Carrube and its serene, picturesque setting in the midst of the Apulian olive groves. The pool area and dining courtyards draped in vines were beautiful and very attractively lit in the evening. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was amazing and we loved our private courtyard seating area with lemon trees. The vegetarian dinner menu was outstanding- the best meal we had in Italy. A privilege to stay here and we can’t wait to return!

Not the first time for me at Le Carrube. I love everything in this place, but if I have to give examples: best breakfast I even found, lovely swimming pool, kind and professional employees, simple but complete and spacious rooms
