Absolutely no complaints

The room was clean, warm and comfortable, no complaints. Location is amazing, quiet, close to the central station which is comfortably connected to the airport, as well as most tourist attractions/museum are walking distance, which is a must in my opinion. The shower design is a bit weird, it doesn’t have doors that close, but i didn’t personally have issues with it. The staff was welcoming, the room had an iron, kettle with tea and instant coffee, a safe, a tv and a vanity. The building is very cozy, for some reason i specifically enjoyed the different light settings in the room, felt so cozy and welcoming. Room was cleaned daily, towels changed daily, tea and coffee were refilled too.

This hotel is located on a main road, across from the main canal & approximately 5-15 minutes walk from the Central Station (depending how fast you walk). There are tram stops nearby & bars, restaurants, shops within easy walking distance. There is a large Reception, which is staffed 24hrs. This has seating, leaflets with discounted attractions & a vending machine selling drinks / snacks. There is also a left luggage room for early arrivals / late departures. My room (004) was on ground level to the rear of the hotel...as such, there was no view from the window. The room was large, clean & well equipped. It contained an armchair, wardrobe (housing a free-to-use safe, iron / ironing board, hairdryer), a full length mirror, king size bed (very comfortable), TV, kettle & coffee maker (with complimentary teas / coffee) & a spacious bathroom (containing a walk-in shower). The staff (reception / cleaners) were pleasant & polite. I would have no hesitation in staying at this hotel on future visits to Amsterdam.

This hotel may not be suitable for wheelchair users and/or those with poor mobility, as there are 5-6 steps from pavement to Reception.

My partner stayed at mansion hotel from 4th - 8th Jan 2024. The hotel was clean and cosy. There is seating in the reception where you can wait for check in. We were lucky that our room was ready early so they allowed us to have our room an hour earlier than stated. which was amazing because we landed at 8am and was tired from walking around carrying our luggage (there is an option to leave luggage at the hotel if needed.) There was always someone on reception to greet you with a smile whilst coming and going from the hotel. The rooms were nice, warm and spacious, with a fridge, kettle and coffee machine. The beds were comfortable with a modern bathroom. Breakfast was really nice. Offering sausages, bacon and scrambled eggs, toast, fruit, yogurt and cereal. The hotel was perfectly located being on a quieter street but within an 8minutes walk of the train station and around 15/20 mostly flat walk to dam square. Everything was within walking distance so we didn’t use public transport. Overall we had an extremely pleasant stay and would choose mansion hotel to stay at again.

From the time that we checked in until we checked out we were looked after by the staff. We were allowed to check in early but normal check in time is 1500. Friendly staff and accommodating of our requests. Room was spacious and the only facility missing was a fridge. Breakfast available for a fee. Room had a double bed and a single bed and a large window overlooking the canal. Rooms are cleaned on request for sustainability purposes and toiletries are available in the room.

It was all good

Our room was compact and accessible by a steep flight of stairs (almost a ladder, in fact!) It had a great view over the water and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very well appointed. The hotel is in a great location - within walking district of the city centre but located in a fairly quiet area. Being able to check in in advance speeded things up when we first got to the hotel.

Nothing, it was all good.

It was close enough to the train station and the main centre for our travels and the view where the hotel is situated is a bonus we never expected when booking. The reception staff were very pleasant and welcoming and check in was very easy for us.

The only issue we encountered with our room was we were placed in a bedroom with 4 single beds but we just joined 2 together to make it spacious enough for us to sleep then returned the beds to their original positions before checking out

The room was large and had a great view. The location was an easy walk to Central Station and to the main parts of the city. Staff was very friendly and informative.

There were some very narrow stairs to carry up a large suitcase. There were initially a lot of challenges with the booking when their system had been compromised (and multiple spam messages were received).

Perfect location, we like walking Comfortable bed, quiet , liked entrance reception, staff pleasant and friendly, room close by and a lift close by to take us up to 2nd floor

poor shower facilities- steamed room due to clogged extractor fan. Not a lot of space around the bed particularly at the patio door area, had to wedge door open with shoe to air room and view from window was back of other hotels , but it was sunny . Breakfast room not quite as seen in the website so dissatisfied but did not have to eat there which we chose and was optional Maybe next time the view from our window will be better

It was an excellent location. We couldn't have asked for better. The staff were friendly and helpful and fixed the broken curtain straight away. As the lift was broken on arrival they offered to carry the suitcase for us.

The room was a little bit too small. We couldn't open the window due to there being a sheer drop. It meant little ventilation in the room. The lift was broken the 1st two days of our stay.

The staff is excellent, especially Ramesh. He was very friendly, helpful with any questions you have, knowledgeable, will guide you if you ask him for help with where to go and find things/main attractions/other cities to visit and what to find there, professional, makes you feel at home. We would come back and ask for Ramesh again. The hotel was very clean and at a great location. You can walk everywhere.
