This is not a standard hotel. The room was a small apartment, what Koreans would call an officetel, with kitchen facilities, a washing machine, and other domestic amenities. It was cheap, and the location was good - nearby Higashi Hie station is one stop away from the airport and one stop away from Hakata station (a major transport hub). Most of the more popular tourist locations, including Tenjin, are only a few subway stops away. On the first floor there is a decent restaurant with an English menu available. There are two large convenience stores within 100 meters of the building.

This isn't a hotel. It's an apartment building with 2 iPads in the foyer. Check in is fine if you have read the email about pre-checkin (and therefore have a QR code) but more problematic if all you have is a checkin number. There is no front desk to help if you have a problem checking in.

No staff, but easy to check in (for future travelers, once you get your access code to the main door, don't press the * key for too long. Just a quick press and then insert the access code. Seen quite a lot of people struggling with it). Very comfortable, bright and organised living space with all instructions for amenities such as stove, washing machine and extractor fan laid out. The bathroom was clean and very comfortable for a nice evening bath. The bed mattress is a medium-hard, just perfect for me. WiFi was amazing, super fast! Check out again, was very simple. Very good value for money, 10 min walk away from Hakata station, Family Mart 1 minute away, really nice izakaya next door.

There were a few food crumbs near the bed when I got in. Nothing major, but cleaning maybe needs to also look into these hidden spots.

The hotel is near the airport but surprisingly it’s very quiet during our stay. The room was clean & tidy, with nice view. There’s plenty of car park & restaurant around the hotel. The bed was very comfortable & I love the shower room the most.

There’s no cooking pot or frying pan at kitchen, so basically I couldn’t do any simple cooking, quite disappointed for such service apartment. The Wi-Fi was not working, finally hotel asked us to connect to the Wi-Fi on upper floor.

Location is good, 5 mins walk from the subway station surrounded by supermarket and three convenient stores. Room is big and tidy. There is a small but nice kitchen area with some plates and cups, not bowls but we still managed to make a simple dinner. You can see the Fukuoka's airport fron the balcony. I stayed at the 14/F so noise from the street was not a problem, not sure about if you are staying at the lower floor. It is one stop away from the airport subway station but apparently that connects to the domestic flight but the international side. The host will send you a message one day before your check in date, remember to do the online check-in as it made the on site check-in procedure much smoother.

The bed is a bit noisy, it makes sounds every time you turn around.

I expected a small room apartment, and it was exactly that. Everything I expect from a apmt was there and fully functional, including the possibility to wash clothes. Maybe a bit small for a family but very good for its price for an alone traveler. The main thing that I found a bit unusual is a nice balcony with a nice view, which I did not expect.

well, I arrived a bit early and tried to contact the renter for early checkin. No possiblity as noone spoke english. but but I actually didnt expect this, as I also know that in Japan you always stick to earlier made agreements with not much flexibility, e.g. the checkin time ..

I picked this place because the location is very close to the airport that is easier for me to catch the flight in and out. You may need to think twice if you look for somewhere near the shopping centre. The room is well equipped with kitchenware and washing machine! The environment is quiet, too.

Some kitchenware, such as the scissors, is not fully cleaned after use but it is ok as I barely cook. I do understand that the more items are provided, the easier to miss out the detail. Comparing with Tenjin, the dining options are way little for there are not too many restaurants around. Perhaps my stay is too short for a more thorough exploration. I am not familiar with the check-in system that it took me a little of time to figure out how to use the door lock. But basically everything is fine to me.

Very fresh and clean- all modern amenities. Walking distance to the international airport.

The self check in process is weird and cumbersome. You have a reservation check-in number which you enter on the outside panel, which tells you the building entry code, which you have to enter on a different panel - but then you need a room entry code too, which was written on the first panel- but you can’t re-access it without leaving the building and re-entering. Then if you make 3 input errors the room entry keypad shuts down. Not good!

Super clean and fresh apartment. Everything felt brand new. All you need is in the apartment including an instructions manual for all the things in it. Great price, fairly simple check in and good location (not right next to Hakata station but the subway runs all the time and it is 5 min walk and 1 station away from both airport and train station).

All was perfect.

I have never stayed in a place so clean! The apartment was immaculate, and had everything needed for a short-term stay. I loved the laundry and kitchen facilities and the spacious balcony with a lovely view of eastern Fukuoka.

It was a bit farther from Hakata station than I expected, but very easy to reach from Higashi Hieitani. The front desk is not manned, but the automatic check-in instructions and code to access the room were easy to follow.

I love the proximity to the airport and that there was plenty of coin parking nearby. Also, the automated check-in was nice since we arrived late (~2300).

There was no couch in either of our rooms although all the pictures I remembered seeing showed a couch. Perhaps that was my error in booking, but I felt the room was somewhat misrepresented. Futon bedding was supplied in the closet, which helped though.
