The location was great. The hotel building and my room were really nice considering the price. The room was very clean and I had a front facing room with a balcony which was a nice bonus. There was noise from the street(we were in the centre of town) but the hotel itself was quiet and respectful of the guests. Also the added bonus of free coffee in reception in the morning ! Not a fancy hotel but great value for tge price tag.

The only downside was the bed mattress was rather old and lumpy. The shower was hot, though didn’t have a strong flow so not a great morning shower. Other that that I was happy with the stay.

The staff was polite with the check-in but for the check out there was ZERO tolerance, They were knocking at the door at noon sharp and then again in 10 minutes. I asked them for some tolerance since this is a bonus in every hotel I have stayed and they were totally rude and intolerant in this regard.

The location is absolutely fantastic, right in downtown Puebla; many of the major sights like the Cathedral or the Palafox Library are only a few blocks away.

The WiFi was very spotty in our room, most of the time we could not connect. It worked fine in other parts of the hotel, but didn't quite reach our room. Also, in a separate issue, one of the pillows was quite lumpy.

The location was great - close to everything we wanted to go and on a quiet side of the street. The staff work at the front desk are very pleasant and helpful. We arrived earlier than the check-in time and the lady working at the front desk checked us in to a room that's ready. The room was clean and tidy. Hot coffee in the morning and distilled water all day is provided free at the lobby. We brought our own bottles and just filled them up. We really liked the building, a colonial style. Outside of the room it has a living room with sofas and a small table. The WiFi signal was also stronger in the living room than in our room. We originally booked just one night and we loved the hotel and the city so much that we extended for another night. We also changed our plan and decided to go to Cholula. So, I am actually in my room writing for this review. Overall, excellent value for money. Cholula is another lovely city to visit if you have extra time. It's a 45-minute ride for 10 pesos one way.

The room that we booked was supposed to have a balcony. But the room we got actually didn't even have a window and definitely on balcony. It had a large glass panel allowing natural light to get in to the room but no fresh air though. So, when we're in the room, we opened the door until we went to bed. That worked just fine for us.

Our room gave directly onto the street so there was some noise - but then we were only staying one night ... See if you can ask for a quieter one!

Beautiful and well located hotel. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings facing the well maintained inner courtyard. Our room was at the front of the main building overlooking the main street, which was a nice view.

Although the bathroom, bed etc were all clean the floor was dusty, so barefoot walking wasn’t great. One hour after Inhad showered my footsoles were black. The bed was quite small for two people (which we have seen more often in Mexico) and the wifi wasn’t great.

This was a great hotel. There’s a beautiful courtyard and the room was comfortable with a lot of space and high ceilings. We had a balcony looking over the street, which they asked us at check in if we preferred street or courtyard views. The staff was very kind and always helpful. It’s close to walk to the center of town and many shops and restaurants.

The shower leaked onto the floor a bunch.

The hotel is in the most beautiful part of the city of Puebla. The atmosphere is very nice as it is a colonial building. An extremely clean and comfortable hotel. The staff is very kind and helpful. Even though they don't speak English, we left our backpack very early and they kept our backpacks until the night bus. The internet infrastructure was renewed and there was a fast working internet.

Although they renewed the internet infrastructure, they still gave a paper that wrote the old wifi broadcast. When we said that the internet was not working, they gave the name of the new wifi name and shared the password. They said that they could not make any changes because the infrastructure was renewed. Do not forget to consult the reception if you have problems with the Internet broadcast.

Very good location for walking all of Puebla. The room had a great design and the balcony overlooking the street was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was definitely great value accomodation!

The street was quite noisy at night and early morning. WiFi was not very strong in our room (perhaps depends on room location).

Perfect location very near Zocalo. The room is simply furnished, but there is nothing more you need for a couple of nights and the bed is comfortable. We had a pleasant stay.
