Hampton Inns generally have a high standard and this location meets that standard. Clean, comfortable location. Breakfast was fine - one thing I appreciated was that they held the coffee at a drinkable temperature; at some hotels you pour a cup and have to wait fifteen minutes to drink it. And one thing I also appreciated was that it was quiet, even though the hotel is close to the Beltline. I have stayed at other hotels in Madison where the traffic noise was an issue, but not at the Hampton.

The hotel is pet friendly and that's not an issue per se, but one of the guests on our floor had a dog that barked a lot. Not much the hotel management could have done about that, though, and it's likely on a future stay that it wouldn't be an issue.

We are late sleepers and we were pleasantly surprised that the breakfast was fully stocked even in the last half hour before it ended. The kitchen crew did an incredible job and even gave me a tray each day so that I could carry multiple plates and cups back to the room. The pool was the reason we booked this hotel and it did not disappoint! Our almost 2 year old daughter had a blast! We loved the splash park and the fact there was so much shallow water. The ramp into the pool is perfect for accessibility. Excellent job!!

The only negative was the mattress was firm for our taste and a little loud when first getting in. The room was amazing though, plenty of space for our toddler, including the pack and play that the hotel provided upon request. I worked a couple of days from the room and the wifi was excellent and the desk chair was very comfortable.

Breakfast fine - nothing special. Very crowded this weekend so lots of people in the breakfast area and they ran out of the hot food by like 9:30 a.m. Location was good,

Beds so-so, not very comfortable. Pillows very flat. Light in bathroom burnt out but a maintenance person came up the next day and fixed it. I would NOT have booked this hotel on this particular weekend had I known it was full to capacity, it seemed like, with a wrestling tournament in Madison. Way too crowded for me.

Breakfast was good. Lots to choose from. Room and bathroom were extra large which was really nice; bed very comfortable. The room was also very quiet.

No fan in the bathroom. I couldn't close the curtains to block out light. The television screen had two areas of dot patterns with large spots where it seemed pixels had been burned through.

Everyone was super nice, the facility was clean, the room was larger than any other hotel room I’ve stayed in, breakfast was delicious with a HUGE selection of choices, and we paid less than )$100 to stay for one night (which is hard to find anywhere except dump holes these days). I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you for a great stay!

Staff was friendly, breakfast was great and always fully stocked. The pool area was wonderful for little kids!

The rooms are a bit older but still clean and comfortable. While the pool is great, it was very very loud and may be an issue for anyone with sensory sensitivities.

SO clean, the bed was very comfortable, and it offered an excellent breakfast for a hotel buffet.

Only one minor quibble - I wish I could have been given two free bottles each day of my stay as opposed to just the first day!

The guys who were working the front desk when we checked in at night were AMAZING! They were genuinely friendly, helpful and interacted with us in a way that felt like we were being taken care of instead of simply checked in. I also purchased a drink later from the snack area and the gentleman who was helping me made a note to grab me a becerage that was more cold because he had just stocked the fridge. Details like that made this stay remarkable.

The pool area was very loud. I don't know if that is something you are able to fix, but it was hard to enjoy the pool experience because of how loud it was.

The location was perfect because it was literally just a few minutes away from friends and family members. My bedroom was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. I also had a really nice view and decided to take a picture of the outdoors using my iPhone. I will definitely be returning because I had a great experience.

The breakfast was limited. It would have been nice to have other meat options, such as turkey sausage or turkey bacon and even potatoes. Having to go downstairs to purchase snacks in the main lobby was a bummer because there were no vending machines on the floors, not even for beverages.

A bit too far from downtown Madison. NO MICROWAVE IN REGULAR ROOM! Had to stay in a suite. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!
