The breakfast was readily available.it was always monitored. Coffee machine was cleaned after each use. The staff was out standing! Helpful 100%! Front desk was an amazing factor!, I even stated to the front desk representative ,you need to work for google maps! She had the whole area down packed. It is in the center of the town. The court yard is so cozy and old world. The management at the hotel , along with the staff was outstanding. Please try this hotel you will be pleased.

Having to park away from the hotel.but it was a nice walk through the town and park.

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic. Close to a lot of shops and restaurants. The staff very friendly and helpful.

While we understand the property is old(er) the part of the hotel we stayed in did not have an elevator. Normally, this would not be a problem, but hip and knee discomforts get more aggravated with the stairs. The room had AC, which was great, but initially you have to go to the front desk to ask for it to be turned on. We had the breakfast the first day we were there, and while it was lovely, the price for the breakfast I feel is too high. Comparatively, I was able to go to another establishment paid the SAME price (for two) and got avocado toast with smoked salmon and HOT eggs.

Location, location, location!

The ceiling in front of the bathroom had water damage and a good deal of mold.

Hotel Saint-Martin is in the middle of the medieval section of Colmar, making it very convenient for catching tours, seeing the delightful sights, and wandering around in shops. The breakfast Hotel Saint-Martin offers is extraordinary, with something for everyone. There were hard boiled eggs, cheeses, yogurt, pastries, self-help coffee, and best of all, a melange of berries that was unparalleled. Since we had been staying in an apartment in northern Alsace, we were more accustomed to having more space, but there was plenty in the room. When we had face tissues to help us with our allergies, staff gave us an entire box of tissues, which was truly thoughtful. We had a great stay and were happy to be able to grab quick lunches right next door to the hotel.

We had to be careful in the bathroom: the toilet paper was right next to the shower and got wet.

The location, in the heart of Colmar, is perfect for exploring the area, with plenty of eating options on the doorstep. It is also only 15 minutes walk from the railway station and 5 minutes from the Tourist Information centre. This was a return visit, having stayed in the same hotel (and room!) last year. We were pleased to be back.

A kettle provided and more drawer space, so we could unpack properly. Both minor niggles, more than compensated for by the location and friendly & helpful staff.

Very comfortable bed, large old style room, brilliant location, very friendly staff, good sound proofing especially as we were in the front which would be noisy with early morning supermarket deliveries opposite the hotel. Air conditioning present but we didn’t use.

We like to have open windows but street is noisy at night and early morning. However the windows when closed shut out all the noise. There was air conditioning but we were there in March so didn’t need it. Breakfast on the first day was amazing with loads of patisserie cakes but they were not there the other two days. Basic breakfast otherwise

I only stayed one night but it was close to the main sights. Parking is difficult to find here though, I shudder to think what it’s like in high season. It is free after 7 pm until 9 am which is great, but you may have to drive fairly far from the hotel to find a spot. The AC in the room did not work well. That being said it was cooler in the evening so it was fine, but it would likely be very hot in high season. If you’re just staying one night it’s great, but if you plan to have an extended stay these are a few things to keep in mind :-)

Lack of parking, AC didn’t work well

The location is amazing. Old charm of Colmar is beautiful. The room was good for a two night stay. The windows opened to a really nice view of the cobblestone streets below, and the old timber buildings, restaurants and shops. The breakfast was quite good. The staff were very helpful. Marine, was very welcoming when we first arrived and she helped us navigate to the nearby secured parking garage. Parking Saint Josse is 3 Euros for 24 hours, and very safe and an easy 4 minute walk back to the hotel. We will visit again

A longer stay.

It was in a great location and the breakfast was really lovely and the staff were nice.

The room didn't feel like a Superior Room and was not one of the photos online. The window didn't work properly, a handle was missing on the wardrobe making it difficult to open and there was no seal on the shower screen which meant the floor and toilet roll got soaked. Also although the room had a lovely view of the street it was really noisy at night and early morning so not really very relaxing.

The location, in the Tanneurs district, was perfect - right in the middle of everything we wanted to see, but only a leisurely 15-minute stroll from the railway station. It was then 5-10 minutes amble to Little Venice and not much more, in the opposite direction, to the Unterlinden Museum & Tourist Information office. The room was compact but very comfortable & clean and benefitted from what approved to be very few balconies. Ours overlooked the junction of Grand Rue & Rue de l'Eglise, so great for people watching. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty with a great selection of breads, cereal, fruit, ham, cheese & sweet pastries.

Drinks-making facilities (if only a kettle & a couple of mugs) in the room.
